The Early Years Practitioners at Coombe Day Nursery believe in offering the children the best educational, fun and caring start during their early years. The nursery provides educational equipment and activities to help further the children's learning and development (in accordance with the statutory framework, the Early Years Foundation Stage).

Coombe Day Nursery offers full day care with all-inclusive fees. These include well-balanced meals and snacks, which follow the healthy food and drink guidelines, additional classes, nappies, wipes, milks and more! Coombe Day Nursery offers a stimulating environment and supports the children in learning through their play.

These training skills are especially needed for the lovely outings the children go on! The children also enjoy a variety of small world play, natural material play, sensory play and focus activities (following all the EYFS areas of learning). Children also participate in external classes; music and drama, tennis, French class, yoga and other activities. These all contribute towards their fun learning environment. Richmond Park is also near the nursery, meaning regular woodland trips.

Practitioners understand that health and safety and safeguarding is paramount when caring for the children. All practitioners are first aid trained, safeguarding trained and food and hygiene trained.

Nav and the team at Coombe Day Nursery provide an absolutely stellar service. Our daughter has been attending Coombe for almost three years now, which means she has made her way through all of the rooms and has been looked after by more or less every member of staff. Her time at Coombe has been more
enriching for our daughter than we could ever have imagined: developmentally, socially and academically.
The activities on offer are superb. Our daughter has taken to everything, especially Mandarin, which is a really inspired decision by the nursery to offer. Communication with parents (via email, phone, social media and the app) is excellent and the newsletters give us a great sense of what the children will be up to each month, with useful suggestions for continuing learning at home. We're also very pleased with the thought that has clearly gone into the diverse and nutritious food menu.
We recommend Coombe without reservation and are sad about having to leave for Reception next year!

Coombe Day Nursery has been brilliant for both our children. The staff are so warm and friendly, it made our baby's transition into nursery so much easier.
Any worries we had about the children we could share with the leadership team and they are so responsive.

Our two year old daughter attends Coombe and we couldnt be happier with our choice to send her there! The staff are all absolutely brilliant - so attentive and really take the time to get to know you and your child to try and make sure that they're as happy as possible. They treat the children with
such love, patience and fun - it really feels like you're all part of the Coombe family. We'll be sending our second child there too! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone :)

I honestly cannot fault this nursery. The staff are incredible! so caring, nurturing, and genuinely dedicated to the children. They always take the time to engage with each child, making them feel valued and happy. The environment is very well-organised, clean, and welcoming, which gives me so much
peace of mind.


My 3-year-old absolutely loves going every day and is always excited to see the teachers and friends. It's clear that the staff really care and pay attention to every child's needs and development. I've been a parent at the nursery for the last 5 years and am so grateful for all they do. I'm continuously impressed by the level of care at Coombe Day Nursery. The staff in each of the rooms create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the children, and they pay real attention to their development.
It's a fun environment with a clear focus on learning too . I never have any concerns dropping my daughters off, they absolutely love it.
The management team are fantastic too, quick to respond to any concerns, and have real success with staff retention which they deserve credit for. It's lovely to see the same staff team in place year after year, with some becoming room leaders and managers showing clear progression.

Our son started attending Coombe Day Nursery when he was only 10 months. I was so anxious in the lead up to it, but the managers and all staff were so lovely from the beginning, I used to call several times a day and ask how he was doing and each time they put my mind at ease. They followed as much
as possible our home schedule, but also they do so many activities during the day! He adjusted really well and my anxiety over it stopped from his first day attending nursery. He is now 14 months and is thriving. He loves Steph, Emily and Rachel, and so do we! Such a lovely setting, I am so happy we chose Coombe Day Nursery. Mia

The nursery manager and deputy manager are a dream team, and they do the most beautiful job of creating a warm and nurturing environment that our little girl adored and totally thrived in. We have recently relocated and experienced a couple of new settings for our children, which has only highlighted
how lucky we were with Coombe. Their communication with parents is particularly great, and we will never forget how supportive they were throughout settling, sickness, potty training and the stresses of moving.

This is a fantastic nursery, very well run and the children’s care and development is put at the centre.

Coombe Day Nursery is just fantastic in every way. I cannot praise the whole team enough. Our son has been at CDN for two years and is so happy here. He has moved through rooms with age and every room team have their own style but an overall consistency. All staff are warm, understanding, and have a
brilliant sense of humour but most of all are professional. The activities our son participates in on a weekly basis are great. If we ever need anything communication is swift, sensible and empathetic. We leave our son knowing he is in the best possible hands. Thank you to the nursery manager and her team.

Coombe Day Nursery is a very special place. My eldest has been there for three years, from 9 months old, and the level of care she has received is exceptional. The manager and staff are all fabulous and really accommodating to the children’s individual needs. I feel my daughter has learnt so much as
well and I’m really impressed with what the nursery teaches them. She also loves all the musical and sporting extra activities they do. My youngest took a while to settle and the baby room staff were so helpful and comforting. Now both girls are very happy there and it’s such a relief going to work knowing they are so well cared for and having a fabulous time!

I'm so glad I found Coombe Day Nursery! My son joined this year and the manager and the team have continued to go to great lengths to make us all feel welcome. Communication has been fantastic from day one with pictures and updates each week. It's wonderful to see how close my son is with the staff
and how comfortable he feels there, which obviously then makes me feel just as comfortable leaving him. They do day trips and lots of different activities. The menu changes to keep the food offered varied. They're a wonderful team and I highly recommend the nursery.

Anyone who is able to have their child at this nursery is a lucky parent. I worry about everything since having a baby and I can honestly say that one of the only times I don't is when our daughter is at this lovely nursery. She was young when she started and they could not have been sweeter or kinder.
Easily the best nursery in the area and the best staff. We would recommend them to anyone and always feel so lucky that our daughter gets to go to nursery with them. Everyone has a smile, our key workers are wonderful (thank you, and the manager) but they are all great. Hard to find. Worth every single penny and more.
