I do think the food could be improved given how much we pay. I’m not sure jam sandwiches should constitute a lunch or dinner.

Really happy with Coombe Day Nursery. My kids are well cared for and happy every day. Any concerns I’ve raised have been dealt with professionally and with understanding - I always feel listened to as a parent. The staff are excellent and genuinely interested in the kids’ development and wellbeing.

The staff at the nursery are amazing and are like a second family. All the staff know all the children by name and you can tell that they really care about them. They go above and beyond to keep them entertained and learning through play.

My son loves the nursery and I have the confidence that he is looked after. If I have ever had any problems, issues or questions I can contact the team at the nursery and they will act in a timely fashion.

The team go out of their way to support each child’s individual needs way beyond what is expected on paper. My son’s only complaint is that he can’t bring his friend and teachers home with us every night!

The staff at Coombe Day Nursery really care about what they do and it shows in how happy the children are going in every morning. I couldn’t trust a childcare setting more - my daughter falls into the warm, welcoming arms of the practitioner and on pick up I get an insightful handover about her day from a practical standpoint. Developmentally they are very thorough, I see this in her learning and through the app and should any area need extra care I know Coombe make the extra effort to support, keeping me updated every step of the way.

They're also really attuned to the likes and needs of each child. We've been able to work with the nursery as we've dropped naps, started walking, potty training etc. and have always been very impressed at the collaborative approach the nursery adopts.

I admire the way the nursery manager has handled situations arising from day to day running of the nursery during various lockdowns and now during the ongoing pandemic.

My son has attended Coombe Day Nursery for the first time at the beginning of this year and he loves it. The activities and play are always well thought out, and at the end of the day and the photos we see you can tell he has had a wonderful day. The team are very caring and hard workers and this is reflected in how well settled and happy the children are. The management team are very open and welcoming and happy to help. All around amazing service.

What can I say, a wonderful nursery! All the staff are well trained in the field of childcare. They have individual action plans for each child and will keep you informed of how well your child is doing. The manager of the nursery runs a tight ship. And it's so clear that they really love the children and that their safety is the most important thing to them. We were just so super lucky that our son went to this nursery and could not be happier. Now that he's moved on to school, we will miss this place so much.

Our daughter has attended Coombe Day since she was 1 year old and we have always found the staff caring and supportive. We’ve always liked that it is a small, personal nursery and we have found the recent change in manager a positive one.

Coombe Day Nursery has given both my children an excellent start in life. All staff are very friendly and focused on the child’s development as well as embracing a child’s personality.

I highly recommend Coombe Day Nursery to any parent. It provides a safe and fun learning environment for all young children. The staff are all extremely friendly and caring and the range of activities provided is excellent, including a variety of outside classes such as music and movement, tennis etc, as well as occasional outings to the park, library, shops etc. There is also outdoor play each day in the small but safe and enclosed garden, which always has lots of activities going on.

Communications with the management are easy and friendly and parents are kept well informed about the nursery as a whole by regular email, as well as their own child by the online Tapestry system. The on-site chef provides a range of meals and snacks for the children which both of mine seem to enjoy! The location is also ideal for commuters.

Our twins are always happy to go to nursery and love it!

All 3 of our children are in/been through Coombe and it is a great nursery. One of my children has additional needs and they are open to external specialists coming in to support. The staff have been wonderful and supportive from everyday personnel and deputy - overall management can be slightly removed, but fine. I would highly recommend.

Coombe is such a lovely place, being a first-time mum leaving her little one in the nursery, the team at Coombe made me feel very comfortable. The little one loves attending, the days are varied and they keep you up to date with activities via an online app - great for mums on the go! Would highly recommend, my little one loves it.

I have had children at CDN (Coombe Day Nursery) for the last 6 years. I have to admit the convenience of Norbiton Station was my main draw. Both my boys have felt happy and loved at the nursery and my 6-year-old talks about the staff with great affection (he's obviously moved on now). My 3-year-old is always happy playing when I collect him and frequently chats on the way home about something fun he did that day. I'm always delighted when I realise by his chat and actions what he's been learning.
