Brinds Well Day Nursery (Orpington)

The staff are also very well educated in child development. They are almost always one step ahead of us in helping our little ones to learn the right skill at the right time.

The premises at Brinds Well is set on a lovely rural road and the building is new, bright and clean. The rooms are big, roomy and packed with colour and toys.

Everything is included in the daily rate: food, nappies, wipes, suncream etc. I appreciate the opening hours (7.30am-6.30pm) which is important as a family with two working parents.

My two children have loved their time there; they have been attending since they were 10 months old, my eldest will be attending school this year. The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care for the children. All the staff, including the cooks, know my children's names. Often my children will run into the room in the morning and into the arms of one of the staff. The nursery manager always takes time to chat to my children when they pop into her office to visit her.

I am so pleased with Brinds Well; my children have grown into bright, happy little people, I'm sure this can partly attributed to the care received at the nursery.

Christmas craft session in Bumblebee 1 - The room leader organised a wonderful craft session for the kids that parents could come along too. It was really thoughtfully organised with lots of activities, perfect for little hands. It was really lovely to be invited to join in and spend time with my daughter. We had great fun with paint, glitter, reindeer food and yummy biscuits.

It's very hard to fault Brinds Well. Our son has been attending for the last year and during that time has progressed through three rooms. His development during this period has been fantastic and we can directly attribute a great deal of this to the work done by the talented staff, especially with his speech. Food and nutrition is excellent and the menu makes us want to step up our home cooking to match the quality! All round highly recommended.

Our daughter has attended Brinds Well Day Nursery since September 2017 and we have been very pleased with the nursery. All the staff have been brilliant and the nursery has a really personal feel.

Very pleased! My daughter completely enjoys it. She is familiar with the staff and very comfortable with them. The outdoor activities are particularly a plus and the day is very interactive for the kids. I will definitively recommend Brindswell.

Couldn’t wish for a better team to look after my children.

My only slight criticism is that sometimes morning drop-offs are hectic within certain rooms and breakfast is not always out. When it is the breakfast table, it is not always big enough for everyone, and the child will sometimes feel isolated as they cannot sit down, making the drop off sometimes longer than needed.

Very happy with the Nursery. Both my daughters have attended/are attending and the staff clearly care about them. The facilities are good. There are some aspects that could be improved such as feedback to patents but overall I am extremely happy with the Nursery and how much girls are looked after.

As a parent, you are always happy if your child is happy but it goes further than that. A lot of care goes into ensuring that nursery standards are met, but a lot of effort goes into going that "extra mile".

The communication between staff and parents is crucial and we always feel that we've spent a day at the nursery along with our son. We not only get a daily verbal report but via the use of the app, we can monitor his progress and development and the weekly newsletter provides an overview of the nursery's weekly activities.

The facilities are exemplary, but it's the staff along with the facilities that make this nursery stand out from the others. Every day our son partakes in different activities, and two days are never the same. Along with supportive and caring staff, it means that our son has not just grown academically but is learning independence and confidence which really shines through when he's away from the nursery environment.

I couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

Some sort of parents evening every 6 months might be an idea and also maybe a PTA so the parents can organise events to raise money for the nursery.

We are very happy with Brindswell. We have a son in the preschool and a daughter is in ladybirds. They are both very happy in their classes. My son has attended since 10 months old and he has developed so well in their care. He is learning a great deal in preschool, his letters, numbers and general knowledge are constantly developing and it's clear they incorporate lots of learning whilst playing throughout the day.

The online journal is excellent and I enjoy reading the reports, they go into great detail compared to some I've seen from other nurseries and really highlight the personalities of my children. I know the staff in both rooms really understand my children and know them well so when they aren't quite themselves it will usually be fed back to me or a phone call will be made so I am reassured they are in safe hands throughout the day.

All the staff are lovely, right down to the catering staff who know the children's names and interact with them when approached.

Both of my children have attended Brinds Well since 1-year-old. The staff, in my opinion, are highly trained and provide all the care and attention needed to look after children in such a positive way. They feel cared for, they are happy and both have run through the doors to get to their room!

Amazing staff - very happy child. Always excited to go each morning and the nursery room staff and receptionist are amazing with the kids and genuinely care.

I feel very confident and happy every day when I drop him off and I am greeted by a very happy little boy when I pick him up.

My son has received excellent care at Brinds Well since 2014 and has progressed from Caterpillars through the various rooms to pre school. He has flourished in the pre school room and loves coming each day. I feel the staff provide a very high level of care and as a result, I can go to work and not worry because I know he is in good hands. The staff take a real interest in the children's development. It is great to have a male member of staff in pre-school. When there have been any issues they have been dealt with very promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend Brinds Well.

My son enjoys a variety of good and varied meals. I would like to see less tinned fruit and more fresh fruit wherever possible.

The nursery has lovely facilities, with each room having their own garden. The only concern I have is that it is becoming very popular and very busy place, some days it is starting to look a bit chaotic just because of the number of children.

My children have absolutely loved their time at the nursery. The staff have all been lovely and my children's key workers have been exceptional. I have never had to worry about their safety and would most definitely recommend this nursery to anyone. They have built such beautiful relationships with the staff and my children talk lovingly about the staff at home. This really is a fantastic nursery.

My daughter has thrived at the nursery and loves going. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and have a genuine interest in each and every child.
