Kindred nursery in Hanwell is a warm and welcoming environment where staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in.

By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, Kindred are able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understands what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Hanwell (formerly known as Buttons) is located in a residential area not far from Hanwell, West Ealing and Northfields train station. Kindred offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.

Our boy started at Kindred Hanwell when he was 2 years old, 3 days p/w half day. Now he is nearly 4 and attends 3 days p/w - 2 full days and 1 half day. It's been a blessing! To start with, the staff really showed love and care for him - at the beginning, he needed lots of hugs and attention and I always
felt he corresponded and that made us feel very secure. It's been a journey and he has developed his confidence so much, from socialising with other kids to playing by himself happily! Furthermore, they supported us in our teachings on dressing himself, toilet training and more. There are a lot of engaging activities at the nursery like arts, reading, sports, music and also suggestions and resources for parents to play at home too! Thank you so much for all your hard work!

I couldn’t recommend Kindred Hanwell enough. They have been fantastic from the outset and we’ve noticed such a positive difference in our baby daughter since she attended. The staff are brilliant. They are always really understanding and professional and easy to contact. Their app is brilliant and they
provide regular updates on her naps, meals and photos of her activities. As a parent, it can be really difficult to send your little one to nursery especially when they are under a year, but the transition has been wonderful and the staff have made it so much easier. My daughter has really taken to the staff at the nursery and we’re so grateful we got a place at Kindred Hanwell for our little girl!

Caring and nurturing environment. The staff and management are excellent! Our little one is happy to go to nursery, which makes a huge difference to our daily life. Having another kid at school it would be nice to have a term time only contract, particularly given the high costs of childcare. Overall,

My son commenced in October 2022 and since then I could see him enjoying every single day at Kindred. The staff is amazing, they look after every single baby in an extraordinary way. They stimulate them with a lot of activities and above all, they always double-check with parents if it's okay to push
the baby to the next milestone either physically (crawling, walking, eating) or psychologically (speaking, singing etc).
We cannot be more satisfied with our choice! When I leave my son every morning I feel secure as I know he is in safe hands and very well treated.
The smile my son has every day when he realises he is about to start the day at Kindred, makes me understand he really loves this place!

We have had a very positive experience with Kindred Hanwell. Our child has been well cared for, treated as an individual and is given a wide variety of activities to explore. Communication is excellent between Kindred and parents-which I’ve found lacking in other settings. They have an app where staff
provide regular updates and daily happenings; but staff are also available to chat. They also offer opportunities for the wider family to be involved in our attending child’s progress. Our child is happy attending Kindred and we are happy with the experience and care provided.

Kindred Hanwell have been brilliant from day 1. The staff are kind, professional and great with my little boy. The communication from the nursery is great, with daily updates on the app, feedback at the end of the day, regular observations, photo updates and regular phone contact. They are easy to contact
and quick to reply to any queries. My son loves nursery and he not only has fun there but also learns so much. The staff work hard to develop the children and my son makes so much progress through their hard work. Above all, I really trust this nursery. I signed up my youngest son as soon as he was born because I can’t imagine my boys going anywhere else. Thank you Kindred Hanwell.

My daughter has been going to Kindred Hanwell since she was 11 months old and she loves it - we are so pleased to have sent her there and have enrolled our son too for next year.
The settling-in at the baby nest was great - it takes place over a couple of short sessions and they were good at following
her routine at the time. The transition to the Fledglings group was also easy, allowing her to have a couple of hours there before moving across.
There's always a wide variety of activities for the group and we're kept well-updated through the app on what she's been up to.
The staff at Kindred Hanwell are all so friendly and caring and she has developed so well here. From starting there where she was getting more confident with her standing, steps and eating through to now being a very chatty toddler, she's learnt a lot from the team!

We are really pleased with our daughter's nursery, Kindred Hanwell. Our daughter only does two days a week but has settled really well. This is a testament to the work of the staff there and the relationships they build with the kids. They really get to know the children and make an effort to engage
families to provide them with as much information as possible on their child. We are delighted that we got our daughter a place at Kindred!

Our son has been at Kindred Hanwell for two years and has built great attachments outside of the home thanks to the staff who really care about his well-being, enjoyment and development. They are fantastic. Our son has always eaten and slept significantly better at nursery since day one! Communication
is great, staff are supportive of home/nursery developments (e.g. toileting) and I can work knowing he is in great hands!

My son has been attending Kindred Hanwell since August 2022. He loves going in every day and always puts his arms out to the staff with a big smile on his face. The staff are so caring and loving. My son has changed so much since he started, he has started using lots of words and is able to communicate
with us a lot more. The food is made fresh daily and he has now tried lots of new foods he hasn't tried at home! The outside area is big and spacious which is rare in London. I would recommend Kindred Hanwell to anyone!

I can only say thank you for taking very good care of my son. They have settled him very well. He loves activities and staff. Management is good as well, they always listen if you have any requests or complaints and can solve any problems quickly. Very kind and my son is developing very well, always
comes with new skills. My child absolutely adores members of staff. Trying to tell stories about his day. I get daily communication from Kindred Hanwell about his day in nursery. I have recommended Kindred to my friends as well.

My daughter has been at Kindred Hanwell for the last 4 years, since she was 7 months old, and has loved it. The staff are wonderful, and she has bonded brilliantly with her key workers over the years. The care and attention from the staff is genuine and loving. The support for her learning and development
has been excellent, she has become a caring and inquisitive little girl, who is very much ready for primary school. Over the last 4 years there have been some changes in management - the current team are brilliant and there is very much a family feel. There has been very little turnover in staff and the atmosphere is great. We are delighted to be sending our second daughter in the autumn and would recommend Kindred Hanwell to anyone in the area (as indeed we have to several friends!).

After going to a few nursery open days we were really impressed with Kindred Hanwell and since my daughter started here she's been very happy. Her carers are so attentive to her needs and I know she’s well looked after as when I take her home, she is so excited and happy that she crawls everywhere and
is constantly babbling like she is telling me about her exciting day. I am updated on what she eats (which is a lot!) and her nappy changes along with her naps. We are so happy we’ve enrolled her here and highly recommend kindred Hanwell.

My daughter has really thrived at Kindred (Hanwell) nursery since having joined at the age of 11 months. Due to being born during COVID, she did not have much social interaction with anyone other than my husband and I. Since being at Kindred, she has developed her social, emotional and physical skills
through the activities which the staff run. My daughter really does enjoy it! She enters Kindred with a smile and greets me at the end of the day with the biggest smile. From that alone, I know she has had fun! The staff at Kindred are incredibly kind and are really like a family. I love the way in which they put the children first in everything. I remember bringing my daughter to our very first tour of Kindred (before she started), all of the staff present cheered as she entered and really did make a big deal of her. The staff at Kindred also do keep constant communication with parents via pictures/videos of daily activities, as well as areas in which children are developing/developed.

We have two children at the nursery and have been very happy with it. They both run in happily most days and talk a lot at home about their friends and doings at nursery. They seem to do lots of activities and enjoy themselves there.


We appreciated getting the updates via the app so we could see

what they were up to. They have formed good relationships with their carers, and our eldest will miss them when school starts this year.

Our daughter joined Kindred last year at 9 months old and has loved it from the moment she started. She goes in with smiles most days which is comforting knowing she enjoys it. The staff are friendly and she has formed great bonds with them. They have supported her learning and development, including
weaning/eating, walking, talking and socialising. Listening to our needs/preference along the way. It’s helpful to be updated through the app each day and regularly receive reports and photos of her progress.

Since starting at Kindred Hanwell my son has really blossomed in confidence. When he started he was nervous, especially as a COVID baby and not having spent much time with anyone other than me and my husband. The staff are diligent and caring. The activities are varied, interesting and fun. The food
is nutritious. The routine is simple, yet effective. I feel comfortable and happy that my son is in good hands, growing and learning in a safe environment. Thank you Kindred! I can’t recommend this nursery enough!

Our daughter started at Kindred 6 months ago. She loves all the staff and has developed so much thanks to their support. The facilities are great and she loves their play kitchen and all the songs they've taught her.


She recently moved up from baby nest to fledglings but the transition was smooth

and she has strong relationships with all the new carers.

Hi, I am Prab the Nursery Manager here at Kindred Hanwell.
I have worked in childcare for a number of years and hold the following qualifications. Level 2 in Early Years and Education, Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development, Level 4 NVQ in Management and a Foundation Degree in Early Years.

Hi, my name is Jess. I have been at Kindred Hanwell since 2019, having previously worked at the setting before this.


I am Level 3 qualified and really enjoy working with all ages of children whilst supporting them with their learning and developing their skills.


Working with children is such a rewarding job and you learn something new everyday.
