Kindred Hanwell Nursery and Pre-school

My daughter has been at Kindred Hanwell for the last 4 years, since she was 7 months old, and has loved it. The staff are wonderful, and she has bonded brilliantly with her key workers over the years. The care and attention from the staff is genuine and loving. The support for her learning and development has been excellent, she has become a caring and inquisitive little girl, who is very much ready for primary school. Over the last 4 years there have been some changes in management - the current team are brilliant and there is very much a family feel. There has been very little turnover in staff and the atmosphere is great. We are delighted to be sending our second daughter in the autumn and would recommend Kindred Hanwell to anyone in the area (as indeed we have to several friends!).

After going to a few nursery open days we were really impressed with Kindred Hanwell and since my daughter started here she's been very happy. Her carers are so attentive to her needs and I know she’s well looked after as when I take her home, she is so excited and happy that she crawls everywhere and is constantly babbling like she is telling me about her exciting day. I am updated on what she eats (which is a lot!) and her nappy changes along with her naps. We are so happy we’ve enrolled her here and highly recommend kindred Hanwell.

My daughter has really thrived at Kindred (Hanwell) nursery since having joined at the age of 11 months. Due to being born during COVID, she did not have much social interaction with anyone other than my husband and I. Since being at Kindred, she has developed her social, emotional and physical skills through the activities which the staff run. My daughter really does enjoy it! She enters Kindred with a smile and greets me at the end of the day with the biggest smile. From that alone, I know she has had fun! The staff at Kindred are incredibly kind and are really like a family. I love the way in which they put the children first in everything. I remember bringing my daughter to our very first tour of Kindred (before she started), all of the staff present cheered as she entered and really did make a big deal of her. The staff at Kindred also do keep constant communication with parents via pictures/videos of daily activities, as well as areas in which children are developing/developed.

We have two children at the nursery and have been very happy with it. They both run in happily most days and talk a lot at home about their friends and doings at nursery. They seem to do lots of activities and enjoy themselves there.

We appreciated getting the updates via the app so we could see what they were up to. They have formed good relationships with their carers, and our eldest will miss them when school starts this year.

I am very pleased with Kindred, and I know that other parents are as well.

Our daughter joined Kindred last year at 9 months old and has loved it from the moment she started. She goes in with smiles most days which is comforting knowing she enjoys it. The staff are friendly and she has formed great bonds with them. They have supported her learning and development, including weaning/eating, walking, talking and socialising. Listening to our needs/preference along the way. It’s helpful to be updated through the app each day and regularly receive reports and photos of her progress.

Since starting at Kindred Hanwell my son has really blossomed in confidence. When he started he was nervous, especially as a COVID baby and not having spent much time with anyone other than me and my husband. The staff are diligent and caring. The activities are varied, interesting and fun. The food is nutritious. The routine is simple, yet effective. I feel comfortable and happy that my son is in good hands, growing and learning in a safe environment. Thank you Kindred! I can’t recommend this nursery enough!

Our daughter started at Kindred 6 months ago. She loves all the staff and has developed so much thanks to their support. The facilities are great and she loves their play kitchen and all the songs they've taught her.

She recently moved up from baby nest to fledglings but the transition was smooth and she has strong relationships with all the new carers.

My daughter is really enjoying her time at Kindred Hanwell and she shows her desire to go there daily. She is entertained by a varied range of educative activities and experiences that are helping her to develop many skills. The diet is appropriate and she is eating happily. The staff is very responsive and so far I had a great exercise.

Kindred Hanwell, is our children's home away from home. Every member of staff - carers, cook and management, treat our son and daughter like family. They are always so happy and energised at the end of they day. They truly love the staff and have great fun participating in all of the activities and play.

We are very happy with our experience at Kindred Hanwell. We have 3 children at the nursery, our eldest having moved from a previous nursery when we moved house. We were nervous but the transition was very smooth and he was comfortable and happy very quickly. All the staff are very friendly and are fantastic with the children. We feel very confident in the care Kindred provide and can see how much they encourage and support learning and development. We would highly recommend this nursery to anybody!

The staff have gone above and beyond to settle my little one in, even with all the Covid restrictions. She is really enjoying her time and it makes me so happy when she smiles and kisses the teachers goodbye!

My daughter has attended nursery since she was about 14 months and she has loved her time there. The staff have been excellent and think the management they have in there now has improved the running of the nursery. The facilities are excellent, with big classes and great outdoor space. It will be sad when she leaves to start school in the September. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending Kindred since she was 9 months old and at every stage, she has been extremely happy, settled and has made excellent progress in her speech and physical development. The staff who have worked closely with her have been exceptional and go out of their way to form wonderful relationships with her. The whole nursery feels like a close and caring community - all the staff know my daughter and me and make us feel welcome and valued. More recently, under new management, communication has been exceptional with the introduction of a parent app. The new manager (and a wonderful long-standing deputy) send nursery updates, a variety of home learning opportunities and reminders which are always very much appreciated. Kindred Hanwell seems to have staff wellbeing at the forefront of their priorities by celebrating their success and gratitude for their hard work on a regular basis. It is important to me that the hard work of all the staff is recognised.

Very happy with Kindred, our daughter is so happy to go to nursery every day, doesn't even look back when she walks in and always comes out happy after a fun day of playing! The staff are so attentive, positive and caring. At pick up, they are always happy to give a summary of our daughter's day (how she slept, what she ate, how she played) and they regularly share photos and updates on the nursery app which is so nice to see. They involve the children (even the one year olds!) in fun things like World Book Day, Children in Need and they do lots of fun activities for things like Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter etc. I would definitely recommend Hanwell Kindred!

Fantastic staff, excellent outdoor space, brilliant feedback, great tech for parents in a rush to check updates, a management team who care and very supportive policy during Covid etc. Would and have recommended! Sent both my kids from 12 months and most importantly they were/are very happy!

My 2 and half year old son has just started at Kindred Hanwell and so far he's had a great time. I was surprised how well he settled in. He absolutely loved the resources and the outdoor garden. The staff are lovely and caring. The food is also great. I’m excited to see his growth and development through the parent's app.

I’ve noticed a huge difference in my daughters confidence. Before she went to nursery she was really nervous of other adults and children as she hadn’t had that time with other people because of the pandemic. Now I see a massive difference and she’s growing more confident by the day - this is definitely down to the amazing staff in baby nest. Thanks so much for everything.

Naturally apprehensive about sending our son to nursery at only 14 months however he couldn't be happier and his development has come on leaps and bounds the last few months thanks to the nursery staff. Quickly became very attached to the staff and we now can't walk past the nursery on days he isn't going as the disappointment on his face is palpable, says it all.
