Our daughter has been in nursery for about 6 weeks, and she absolutely loves it! We all felt very supported during the settling in period, with regular updates and reassurances from the Buttercups team. It feels like they look after all of us! The Buttercups team often send us newsletters and private messages with updates and photos demonstrating the breadth of activities she undertakes and she loves the food!

Our son started nursery 4 years ago and we have loved every step of it. We will remember lots of things but specially this last year in yellow group and Forest School. We are extremely grateful for all their caring, learning, playing, grand imagination and enormous heart. Even in lockdown you were there for the children via telco or open for us, key workers. We will strongly recommend Buttercups as an outstanding place for any children to grow and learn. Forever grateful.

I have had two children pass through this nursery over the last six years and cannot speak too highly of them! The care both my children have received, in particular from the 'yellow' class (age 3+) group has been outstanding. The yellow class practitioners are amazing, they are like extended family and have helped us, as a new family, guide and support our children in the most loving environment possible. My children have blossomed with confidence, knowledge, skill, ability, language and kindness. In particular, the facilities offered here (fit and fun, Forest School, it's own kitchen & chef!) are wonderful!

The whole experience at Buttercups Nursery has been amazing for my daughter who started at 1 1/2 and is now leaving aged 4 years. The care, attention, fun, and kindness shown by the staff make it a special place, and I am very sad she is now going to school. She has learned a lot and changes are noticeable daily on her days at nursery. These will be the years she won't forget and will lay the solid foundation for her journey into reception. My son also attends and is 1 1/2 but is learning a lot and comes home with new moves to songs or new words. He has settled well, has fun, and we can happily leave them both knowing they are in good hands. It is a smaller nursery, so lots of the staff know them both. If I've done one thing right as a parent, it's putting them there.

Outstanding nursery, full of caring, attentive and very able staff. They are so passionate about the children and the standard of teaching is very high. New activities are planned every day so the children are always stimulated. The nursery has a very warm, family feel to it and I have always felt my daughter is very safe there. The head carer is wonderful and has made mine and my daughter's experience with them so special.

Buttercups Chiswick is an excellent nursery. There was a very good induction which helped my child to settle well. The activities are varied and thoughtfully planned to engage the children and help them to develop new skills. The staff are extremely caring and work with you. I would thoroughly recommend Buttercups Chiswick.

We have had an extremely positive experience at Buttercups at Chiswick, especially since it welcomed back children after lockdown. The staff are brilliant with the kids and one staff member, in particular, is an absolute star! Since she took over the day to day running of the nursery the improvement has been marked and you feel like it is being run extremely efficiently. Their communication with parents is first class and they provide a very reassuring presence around your child. It seems like a really happy place.

We enrolled our two year old at Buttercups after he failed to settle at another nursery (after a few months), so initially our main priority was the care, attention and warmth he’d receive which was obvious even at the initial tour. I was surprised that within 2 weeks he seemed so much happier already than his previous nursery, and it was clear he finally got the individual attention he needed. Since then he has really thrived under the care of the most amazing teachers. He is nearing his final weeks with Buttercups, and it still amazes me the energy and effort that goes into enhancing their wellbeing and development. Every week they develop new activities that really engage them on many different levels and fill their days with joy. Our son is incredibly happy there, and to us they have become like family. We will be very sad to say goodbye in a couple of weeks. Their hard work, care and love has been inspiring and we feel very blessed to have found this nursery.

Buttercups is a wonderful nursery full of energetic, kind and caring staff. Our little boy loves going every single day and we notice how much he develops on a weekly basis, coming home with new songs, skills and stories with his friends. It is a happy and safe environment and we wouldn’t want to send our son anywhere else! Thank you, Buttercups!

Our child is thriving and staff are experienced, caring and professional. Directly comparing to our previous nursery - the level of kids' activities and feedback to parents is exemplary. Apart from a happy child - every parent wants complete confidence in their child's carers - they achieve both. There seems to be little turnover and one senior staff member has been teaching there for 25 years. They seem to develop and guide the children in a caring and understanding way but also providing helpful support to parents able to call on the vast experience of 25 years of teaching. They also seem very open to receiving feedback and as a parent, I feel I am listened to. They are open with their approach eg on food - are flexible and adaptable and always open to suggestions on their menu.

The Friday "Forest School" is an absolute highlight of the week for my child. It is great to combine that option with a "normal" nursery on other days. Overall I feel well informed and confident and therefore very pleased we are at this nursery.

Amazing nursery. Couldn’t ask for anything better for my girl. She’s been there since she was 7months and is now nearly 4 and is being very well prepared for school. Can not fault.

From the moment I first entered the nursery, I knew this was the right place for my son. The staff, environment and level of care is exceptional. My son has flourished is independent and they are now preparing him for school. He also loves the day of Forest School. My second son has just started and I'm confident he will grow and enjoy it just as much.

The only downside is the size of the garden but they make full use of that space and have regular P.E sessions out there. (Forest School is held on a separate site)

Cannot hope for a better place for my children.

Both my daughter (until last year) my son (still there) loved it. Very caring, genuinely loving towards children. Continuous innovation and improvement (forest school, fit and fun activities, Montessori room ..) All in all a fantastic nurturing environment. Absolutely love it.

It is a very warming nursery. Small enough for allowing that all the staff know every child. I love the freedom and independence they give to the children, being supportive at the same time. My child started the nursery one year ago without understanding any English words. Now, she can communicate as a native, has her best friend ever and are growing confident and healthy. Thank you, Buttercups team, for all you have done to my daughter!

We are very pleased with the nursery setup for our 2 year old at Buttercups Nursery. The staff are all very nice and highly trained, I know exactly who cares for my child, what he did and ate throughout the day. The nursery is small which makes it feel like home. Our son truly enjoys going there.

This is a great nursery, with fantastic staff who genuinely care about all children. It feels like a family home, rather than an establishment. My child had the best experience and was very well prepared for school. The management is very thorough and hands-on in terms of communication.

Our daughter (2yrs) joined Buttercups Chiswick in October and we are delighted with our choice of day nursery for her. From the first visit, we were warmly welcomed and our daughter has quickly settled into the new environment and is going from strength to strength in the care of the fantastic team there. Buttercups is small and homely, and this really adds to the personal touch for each of the children and their parents. She partakes in a wide variety of activities daily (which are often driven by the children's choices) and always comes home with so many stories to tell, and surprises us with her continuous development, be it knowing a new word, or song, or dance, or how to put on her own coat! All of the staff illustrate their enthusiasm to encourage the children to grow and develop and also forge really strong relationships with the children, which we have been so happy to see. All in all, we would certainly recommend to other families (if you're lucky enough to be able to get a slot!).

Good nursery, well run, on the whole, children seem happy and well looked after, my child has been there for 18 months now and my son before he went to school was also there, very near to the Gunnersbury tube station. I would recommend the nursery.

A fantastic nursery my son loves it there and I've been very happy with both the care and learning that he has received.

He has attended since he was 11 months old so he's been through several rooms from baby upwards and I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

We are very happy about Buttercups, our daughter is always happy to go there in the morning, which makes it much easier then to go to work. It has a very homy feeling which is why I had selected this nursery in the first place and I did not want something clinical. They have great activities everyday and the staff really enjoys being with the kids and create really strong relationships with them.
