Buttercups Chiswick is conveniently located next to Gunnersbury Park tube station and is situated in a 4-storey Edwardian townhouse where each age group has their own dedicated room. The preschool children enjoy the whole top floor with Montessori classrooms. As well as the small but well-stocked garden, older children get to enjoy the mini forest at the nearby sister nursery in Chiswick Lane.

At Buttercups, they believe that a well-cared for team results in well-cared for children. They are committed to making sure staff feel supported, rewarded and challenged and continually develop the skills and qualifications of the team through in-house training programmes and external courses.

The nursery adopts a range of teaching approaches, including Montessori which emphasises children's ability to learn through play and make their own decisions, promoting their independence and confidence as they begin their learning journey. They also encourage children to spend as much time outside as possible, integrating plenty of opportunities for outside play and encouraging a love for nature.

My son has attended Buttercups for 6/7 months now and I’m so glad I chose Buttercups Chiswick for him. I was a bit anxious when it came to leaving him but a member of staff did nothing but reassure me and update me regularly to ensure I felt comfortable.
My son now runs through the doors at nursery
and has really good relationships with all of his teachers not just his key worker. In the last 6 months, his development has also done soo well, his confidence has also Improved.
Thank you all for providing my son with a safe, warm and happy environment.

Due to the unsettling situation during the last year and a half, my daughter has moved to four nurseries, Buttercups being the last one. Since she started there she has settled really well and quickly, she made so many friends and she learned so much it's incredible how she flourished. She has the space
and support to become a great version of herself.Her teacher has always been aware and on top of things, has great communication with us and genuinely cared for my daughter. Everyone in the nursery is caring and nurturing to my daughter. We had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend Buttercups Nursery. Thank you very much.

Our little boy joined Buttercups at Chiswick last September, just before we went into the second wave of lockdowns. To say it's been a turbulent time for the world would be the understatement of my lifetime, but the consistency and quality of care that he has experienced has seen him flourish from a
shy little two-year-old into a kind, (mostly) calm, curious and precocious nearly 4-year-old who seems to charm everyone he meets and who meets every hiccup or surprise in life with confidence. We are so grateful to the staff for looking after us all so well during this time. His learning is phenomenal - I'm not sure what he'll do in reception, he seems to have mostly got the hang of those final early years foundation stages already! I think they have instilled confidence, creativity, kindness and perseverance that will stand in him good stead for life, and I only wish we'd brought our older child to Buttercups so that she could benefit also. Thank you - we will miss you!

Our daughter started at Buttercups in August 2020 and we couldn't be happier with the amazing team and nursery. The managers and key workers are so wonderful and went above and beyond to make our daughter feel welcome, secure and happy whilst spending her days there. They communicate with the parents
really well and our daughter absolutely loves going and has formed really great relationships with all the staff there which is so nice to see. They do lovely activities with the children and I can see our daughter has developed so much since being at Buttercups. Well done to Buttercups - it's not easy leaving your young child in someone else's care but we have felt really confident and happy with sending our daughter to this brilliant nursery!

Very professional and well organised. My 12month little one is having so much fun. We have noticed that the way he plays now is more targeted. Buttercups at Chiswick is a brilliant and excellent nursery. My daughter was graduated from here and now my son is about to graduate from here. They love Buttercups very much and had a really happy time here. The teachers are very experienced and with so much love for the children. The nursery is well
organized and has a very good communication with parents. Their Forest School is a real treat for the children. My son loves Forest School so much. We feel so lucky that our kids could both join Buttercups and meet such excellent and enthusiastic teachers here.

Laura has risen through the Buttercups ranks, originally starting as a nursery practitioner in our Syon Park setting. Laura continued her studies and was promoted to Room Manager, and Deputy Manager and now she manages our Chiswick nursery. Recently she achieved her Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
