Brentford Nursery has exceeded all of our expectations over the past few months! We are delighted with the staff who are always positive, motivated and most of all caring. Our child comes home happy, engaged, and satisfied every day, having taken part in a variety of activities and fun.
Communication
with parents is excellent with daily feedback as well as comprehensive reporting on developmental progress.

We adore Brentford Little Garden Nursery. My son started in January this year and he is coming on leaps and bounds. His communication skills have improved massively and his confidence continues to grow.
All the staff are so friendly and easy to talk to, whenever I walk in I am greeted with smiles.
The bond between the staff and my son is so lovely to see, he's forever talking about his friends and staff members at home.

I drop off and pick up the child quite often when parents can’t do it and I always feel very welcome. Staff is very professional and greet you with a smile on their face. First time when I picked up the child, staff did not know me and did everything to check if I am a Carer - the staff safeguard children
very well and I feel safe leaving the child at the nursery.
At the end of the day, he always talks about his friends and shows me everything that he has done.

My son started this nursery in November, and I must say I was extremely nervous about how he would settle in, how he would interact with so many different people etc, but I have to say he has settled in brilliantly, and it did not take him anytime whatsoever.
With the help, patience and encouragement
from all the staff at the nursery, I cannot thank the staff enough.
In the morning I can't get him in fast enough, it's very uplifting as a parent to see a smile on your toddlers face every morning we arrive, and makes my day at work so much more relaxing.
The food is amazing, and I love the variety of healthy food that is given. Every day when I am given my feedback from the staff of my sons overall day, he has always eaten ALL of his meals, which is brilliant to hear. Overall this nursery is excellent, from the staff, the chef, the activities the development of my son and the communication, I could not have chosen a better nursery. If I could give 10 stars I would. Very happy mummy.

The staff are very friendly and personable. They are easy to speak with and seem very happy in their work.
The Deputy Manager and two nursery practitioners in particular have a great relationship with my son and every time I collect him he is having fun and laughing.
The chef is also great with the
kids and I've heard her food goes down a treat!
It is all about the kids having fun and learning and the activities included each day are varied and interesting which keep them entertained.

The Little Garden Brentford Day Nursery and Pre-School is such wonderful Nursery. On joining, great care is taken to get to know each child really well. The staff are all very friendly, experienced and professional and amazing.
When my child was not well today the staff well looked after him and informed
me.
Many thanks again to the staff. It is a nurturing and happy environment where there are lots of adventures to be had. My son was well introduced to a wide range of activities. Our son particularly loves the art room and the outside space. He is having a wonderful time at The Little Gardens Brentford day Nursery and Pre-School.

I love the little garden nursery at Brentford. My little girl has been there since she was 8 months and she is always so happy when I take her. One of the nursery practitioners is amazing and all the kids love her. She’s always doing so many fun things like painting and singing and Spanish lessons and
she has come on so much since being there. She is very socialable and has grown in confidence no end.
The only thing I would change is have a dark separate area for the babies to sleep. My daughter gets very easily distracted so doesn’t get much sleep in the day as it’s in the same room as everything. Other than that though I am very happy.

Our son started to attend in early April 2018 when I returned to work after a year of maternity leave. He was eleven months when he started. Prior to joining we were provide with six settling in sessions which really helped us to get used to the environment and were a great help. As expected it has
taken a little while for him (and us!) to get fully settled, but already he is very comfortable with the staff, who really have been great - professional, welcoming, caring and attentive.
All of the staff have been lovely to deal with. Even though we are only a month in, our son seems happy to attend and he is now sleeping well in the day so he is clearly comfortable in the environment. The meal plans are varied and nutritional and he seems to enjoy the food. The opening times are convenient for us (both me and my husband work in central London). Overall we are really happy that we picked this nursery over all of the others that are in the vicinity.

My daughter has been going to The Brentford for about two years, and I could not be happier. She has learnt so much in terms of her language skills and interacting with other children! The staff is so helpful and caters to the needs of children. My daughter is always telling me what she does during
the day, who she talks to, how she is feeling, etc. The program allows children to learn new things at their pace, while keeping up with standards. I feel confident my daughter will adjust to school when the time comes because of the skills she has learned at the Brentford and she eats very well there as well! She is happy so I am very happy!

I am very happy with the nursery. It is clean, bright and secure and the food is freshly cooked.
The staff is amazing. My daughter has trouble settling in, she still cries when I drop her, but they always manage to take care of her, keep her busy and put a smile on her face again. Even if it is difficult
for me to leave her crying I am fully confident that she is in very good hands and that she will be ok quickly.
The only thing I would suggest is to fix the hole in the garden grass. I think not only the kids but also parents and staff could fall as it is right in the middle of the passage.
Otherwise, it's all good and I am happy to see that they organise new activities like Tennis courses, Yoga etc.
Well done Team Brentford!

My daughter joined the nursery when she was 1 year old. Now she is 2.5 years old and has absorbed so many new concepts and things which only an inclusive, multi-cultural, caring and engaging educational community can offer. Learning is achieved through play, using day-to-day experiences and environments.
Learning is also provided using different modes of learning, using pictures, props, music, toys, arts and crafts, books, and sports.
All staff are friendly, polite, caring, educated and approachable practitioners, who closely monitor each child's learning progress, paying close attention to each child, observing, recording and addressing their individual needs. They are open to discussion either face-to-face, email or phone. The management team are approachable, willing to listen to parents, focused on children’s progress and working collaboratively with parents. Here children eat together as the chef cooks amazing food. I can say that my daughter eats more varied foods at the nursery than at home.

My daughter (20 months) has been going to Little Gardens since she was about 6 months old and every day we feel we have made the right decision. We’ve always had a good rapport with the staff, everyone always made sure that what we do at home is followed with my daughter as closely as possible and she

We dropped our son off 2 pm (his 4th day including his settling in days) I had to change his nappy as he had just done a poo but the manager of the nursery said she would change it for me as it's part of the settling in.
At 5 pm I was told they didn't change his nappy.
I picked up my son and he absolutely
stank. I ran to the changing room and the manager was there. I opened his nappy in front of her and asked why he wasn't changed and how could they leave him for 3hrs in his poo!
She said sorry she had forgotten. My sons nappy was full to the top with a massive poo.
I asked how often they checked nappies and they said 3hourly.
How could the nursery nurse not have smelt my son, clearly something's not right as there were only 4 other babies/toddlers in that room?
I'm not even going to go into more detail of what happened but I feel I should let other parents know what we discovered in the first week of leaving our son here.
Also, the entrance gate was wide open another day and the manager said a parent must not have closed it.

Nice bright and airy space with plenty of room for the kids. Well set-up and in general the kids seem content and the staff seem to be able to handle all ages without any problem. Real made-from-scratch food is a plus - no junk, ever. Flexible when needed which is a huge plus.

Amazing nursery, we have been at this nursery nearly a year now and my daughter loves it. The staff are remarkable. The management is outstanding. It's a wonderful nursery. Our daughter first joined in January 2017, just after the school had undergone its refurb. The staff are always excited and full of energy. When I've had questions or concerns (as any parent would when leaving their daughter alone for the first time!) they were quick to
give me informed responses and to listen and take on board any requests that we had so that we knew our daughter was getting the care that we wanted her to have. I can't speak for other nurseries, however, this nursery definitely supports an individual approach to each child and we're very happy with the way she is cared for.

  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
