Brightsparks Day Nursery, Purley offers both full and part-time childcare packages within an environment that supports learning by helping children to embrace new interests and pick up key pre-school skills.

The nursery is conveniently located for families in Purley and the surrounding areas, close to Purley and Coulsdon town centres. The nursery is well served by local bus routes and are within easy reach of both Coulsdon South and Purley train station, making it ideal for commuting families.

Brightsparks Purley nursery is led by the Manager, who has been part of the Brightsparks Team since 2015. She is a dedicated early years professional who is passionate about creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident and supported.

She is supported by the Area Manager, who has been with Brightsparks since 2001. Both are Level 3 Early Years Practitioners and hold Foundation Degrees in Early Years, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the nursery.

Brightsparks Purley are proud to hold a “Good” Ofsted rating (May 2023), reflecting it's commitment to high-quality care and early learning.

The provider has built a strong reputation in the region since its establishment in 1999.

Alongside a vibrant early years education in a secure environment, each child's development is supported by well-balanced menus of home-cooked food.

Meals are prepared on a daily basis and include five portions of fruit and vegetables.

We enrolled at Brightsparks Woodcote as it's small and cosy. Our daughter has attended since she was fifteen months. She's now two years and nine months.
She loves it there and I am sure that she will miss it a lot.
The staff are wonderful not just to my child but to all the children. We are sad
to be leaving. My daughter enjoys the daily planned activities and never wants to leave and is usually exhausted from all the fun.

My child has been here from 8 months to 3 years and has enjoyed every single minute. The staff are amazing, extremely professional and really know their EYFS. They continually give me reports and updates on her progress and show real dedication and passion. The nursery staff are very helpful and cater
for all needs and they have helped me out a few times in need.

My son attended this nursery from six months old where he went through all of the rooms. The set up is well organised and the staff friendly and professional. My son has always had a smile on his face when being picked up and has enjoyed the use of all the resources they have available which has included
the outdoor garden space.
We have never had any worries leaving our son. The nursery is very well kept, clean and the food menu is very good. My son has enjoyed his time here.

The staff are selected with care and it is obvious they enjoy what they do. The facilities are always kept clean and both the staff and the children take great pride in keeping it that way. Daily reports are good and show each child receives special care from a most professional staff. We just had our
second child and she will most definitely be receiving Brightsparks phenomenal care.


Thanks for consistently upholding such a high standard and we look forward to our continued relationship as we partner to raise our young family. Please don't change!

Our son has been going to Brightsparks Day Nursery for nearly 2 years. As a result, he is a very confident child and has developed very well during that period. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and approachable. They are willing to listen and deal with any concerns you might raise and
provide good solutions.
The activities for the children are varied and fun and I'm reliably informed that our son enjoys himself immensely. We are confident that our son is looked after in a friendly safe environment so have never had any worries.
Brightsparks was initially recommended to us by a friend whose children had attended a few years ago and we are extremely happy that we took her advice. In turn, we will ensure we also recommend Brightsparks to our friends and family.

My daughter has been at Brightsparks for over 3 years now and she really enjoys it. The staff are friendly and personable and the activities are fun. It is important that as working parents, we see a happy child at the end of the day and we don't have to worry when they are not with us. The nursery
makes them feel at home and very comfortable which is great. The staff are accommodating and manage the relationship with parents well. We are happy with Brightsparks.

My son loves going here. Staff helped him settle in well and he looks forward to going. There's always plenty of activities to keep him occupied. Their lovely food has helped turn him from a fussy eater to a boy who'll now try any food.

Throughout various intervals in the year the parents evening is a great update on how your child is progressing.

It's a well-run nursery that has a happy atmosphere. The settling in period was good and they took steps to ensure they really got to know my daughter. My daughter had a great time at this nursery and learnt so much! She is now in school and still talks about this nursery all the time, about how much she loved coming here! Brilliant nursery with lovely, caring and professional staff. Great activities for the children, lovely food which my little boy loves and a genuinely caring environment. Made my return to work after maternity leave so much easier knowing my son was safe, happy and cared for. The staff all have great

I have been incredibly impressed with the calibre of staff at Brightsparks Day Nursery, Purley. They take such care to cater activities to my daughter's individual needs and I feel confident that her safety and well-being are always at the forefront of her carers' mind. My husband and I are always made
to feel extremely welcome whenever we come into the nursery, and we have been made to feel part of the community. We like the fact that so many of the staff know our baby's name and greet her with real affection, even though they may work with a completely different age group.

Brightsparks is a lovely nursery, my daughter loves all the staff. All staff are very approachable and supportive to all individual needs. I love the the way there is activities for my daughter made around her current interests. Always happy to help and answer any questions I may have.


Recently enjoyed sports

days, and her graduation party, I will be so sad to leave this nursery. If baby number 2 is ever thought of I would not hesitate to send them to Brightsparks, cannot recommended them enough.
