Bright Horizons East Greenwich Day Nursery and Preschool

Nursery staff and management are professional and caring. There are high standards of cleanliness and hygiene which have meant minimal disruption despite Covid. Our daughter loves attending the nursery and her learning and development have been greatly enhanced by being there.

Cannot say enough about how lovely the staff are here. My child is so happy to go there every day. With special dietary needs I know it’s not easy but the chef and staff all look after her so well. She talks about them all the time and it’s so wonderful to see what a bond they all have with her.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for a year now. We had a choice of 3 nurseries in the area, being an anxious mum the decision was super hard for me! But I felt that this one had the most lovely, friendly atmosphere, somewhere that I would want to hang out all day! I'm so glad we chose this nursery as it feels like a family, which has been super important since Covid came along. She thrived in the baby room, with the really caring staff, and now waltzes into toddler room every day, super happy, and loves her keyworker plus all the other staff. It's the little touches for us that make it special here, the printed photos and homemade cards that the staff take their time to do. She has lots of garden time (the garden is lovely) and obviously does lots of singing and dancing which she brings home, and the meals look delicious. I am very happy with this nursery.

The staff were brilliant with my son but also with us. They always answered any query we had and were a friendly face each day. Thank you so much for everything, we shall miss you!

It's time for my daughter to graduate from East Greenwich Bright Horizons nursery after 3 and a half years of attending full time. I want to say a big thank you to all the lovely staff who made her journey from the baby stage to a reception little girl amazing. To top this, she has had a great time celebrating with her friends the special graduation day that the nursery organised for them. Despite all the current restrictions in place the staff managed to make the day very special for them. The friendships that she created during this time at nursery and the love and support she received from the staff will be with her forever. Thank you so much again for everything!

My 9 month old loves the nursery, thus so do I. It is great to drop her off in the morning and to see her so excited. The staff are lovely and very caring. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Thanks to East Greenwich Day Nursery, my son has developed many skills and he has learnt how to treat his friends and nurses with love and respect. I would have preferred not so many nurses to leave, as it upsets my sons routine, as he lost his point of reference. This should be a very key point when hiring new profiles, so they can give continuity to the development path.

I am very happy to see my son excited to go to nursery every day. The teachers are very nice to him, always in a good mood and full of energy. I know that my son is having healthy food every day, enjoying games and learning many things. He's not two yet but sings all the rhymes, counts to 10, expresses himself, knows his manners. I often bring my charge here as he adores the baby care unit. The staff are always welcoming to us and he gets so excited when we arrive. The babies here always seem happy and engaged in activities, there is always a positive atmosphere in the room and I think that's why my charge loves it. We appreciate the time the staff take to get to know us, even the chef who brings him snacks.

Very nice place, my son loves it. A good environment for children to be in, to learn and have fun. I know my child is safe and well looked after by the brilliant teachers and a great management team.

This is our second child at this nursery. Even though they are six years apart, the care and standard are excellent and it has only become stronger throughout the years. The refurbishment made the nursery have all the facilities we could wish for and all staff is well trained, kind and extremely polite. The management of the nursery is incredible and we constantly recommend the nursery to friends and family.

I really enjoy the Bright Horizons Nursery, the management is excellent and I feel very connected to the staff and my son's key workers. I love the daily updates and variety is also excellent. They have done a great job creating a really great family orientated nursery.

I believe the East Greenwich Nursery has a really good space (internally and externally). Having the kitchen easily visible to everyone gives a good sign of health conditions. The manager has been showing significant attention to how the parents and kids are feeling and every concern I have has been highlighted and addressed. Currently, my concern is with the high rotation of staff. My son has already changed his keyworker 3/4 times. Also, I would like to see more activities being done from a language and numbers (maths) perspective, to access the bilingual kids.

Our daughter has been thriving ever since she joined Bright Horizons in August 2018. The nursery nurses are all extremely loving and caring which is very reassuring as a parent. Her day is packed full of activities which she thoroughly enjoys - the activities always seem well thought out too. My daughter also enjoys a wide variety of foods at the nursery, she loves her meals there. Overall we are extremely happy and can see how the nursery has directly impacted her development in a positive way.

The manager and her team have always been there for us and words can't describe how grateful we feel.

East Greenwich Day Nursery is the third one for our son and second Bright Horizons and will definitely be the last one, as I would never want to change this extraordinary place of care. My sons development just rocketed since he started there and he has never had a bad day there - when I pick him up he is so happy and cheerful and often doesn't want to go home! Best staff ever and the best manager - all is thanks to them.

We have had 2 children at East Greenwich Bright Horizons for the past 5 years and in particular, I would like to say that the manager has been so supportive throughout.

Our experience here has been outstanding. Our child has been extremely well cared for since starting at nursery more than a year ago. The staff and management are caring, enthusiastic people who go above and beyond making our child feel comfortable and happy. Our child has thrived at nursery and we wholeheartedly recommend it to all other parents.
