Bright Horizons Southfields Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Situated in a waterside location and on the ground floor of a modern building, Southfields is a bright, thoughtfully designed environment for learning in Wandsworth, London. Ideal for parents needing to commute, the handy location is within walking distance of both Earlsfield overground and Southfields underground (District Line).

Within the age-focused rooms, the team provides the best start to schooling life through the enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by their own Early Years specialists. An holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

Additionally, the nursery's safe, enclosed garden has safety surfaces and a digging and planting area where children can grow their own plants and take part in a variety of different activities; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, the team can keep you updated via the Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with the nursery.

All-inclusive fees include all meals, snacks, branded nappies, wipes and creams. All food is nutritionally balanced and freshly cooked by the on-site chef and all the menus have been accredited by Action for Children.

I have been entirely satisfied with my daughter's care at Teddies Southfields. From her start in the baby room to her current place in the toddler's room, the staff have been so caring, empathetic to the children's needs, and seem to do so much more than 'just' a job there - they really seem to care.
My daughter is so happy going there. The staff, are always smiling and seem to enjoy the children. They make the most of the resources, and I love the Hartbeeps activities - as does my daughter. The managing team is great - very organised, professional, and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Teddies!

I have been working with Bright Horizons for 10 years and hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare and education and a Level 5 degree in leadership and management. I started as a nursery assistant making all my way to nursery manager. I have experience working with all age groups and I enjoy providing inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery and maintaining a stimulating and enjoyable environment to ensure every child has the best possible start in their educational life and to ensure their safety.

I have been working in childcare for over 10 years, I gained valuable experience working in a variety of childcare settings from children's centres, primary schools, after-school clubs and nurseries. I hold a level 3 in childcare and education.


I joined Bright Horizons in 2015 and I made my way from Bank Staff to Deputy manager. I started at Wandsworth Day Nursery, Southfields, Chiswick Park coming back now to Southfields as Deputy.


I have a real passion for care and education as I am a mother of three children.


My goal is to make the nursery experience special for every child and family, supporting children in all areas of learning and helping them to grow and get ready for school.
