Streatham Montessori Day Nursery

I highly recommend this nursery. Both of my children attended this place, and the staff, owner are very lovely people, who you can trust and leave your child with them. I did it with my eyes close, and I cannot thank enough of what they did with my children. A polite and responsible boy's who learned so much with the way Montessori teach. I will miss them so much.

I have had family and friends use this nursery before me, and it was recommended. The best recommendation I've had. Some of the staff have been there for years, and they really do care for the children and treat them all individually. My son has learnt so much since joining this nursery.

Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication, patience to the children, and for keeping personal belongings in order (toys, clothes), helping with potty training, caring when they were not feeling well, making every day a fun environment to go to, which was also very important. Streatham Montessori is a wonderful family-run nursery, where the teachers and administrators really get to know the children and the parents. I wish I had started my daughter there sooner! Her independence, verbal and social skills have just flourished under their Montessori tutelage. Several of the staff members have been there for over a decade, which says a lot. The teachers are very good at making sure the parents feel informed and are very accommodating to any questions or concerns one may have. I highly support and endorse Streatham Montessori!

We send our 1-year-old and 3-year-old to Streatham Montessori, and we have been very happy with the care and support they receive. Both children like it there and look forward to attending. The staff are great and keep us updated with their activities and progress with regular one to one meetings plus updates on their app. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough!

Oh, how we love this Nursery. Our eldest recently left after four years of care, and it was heartbreaking. Thankfully, our youngest has just started, so we will still have a connection. Family run with amazing staff. They create happy children who are kind, polite, conscientious, imaginative and free from gender stereotypes. We couldn’t recommend Streatham Montessori more. Five stars!

My son was there for 3-years, and now my daughter almost two. Lovely nursery with wonderful Montessori ethos and the children are cuddled when upset. My children have learnt so many skills there, and the staff are always happy to accommodate when you need extra support.

Streatham Montessori is a wonderful nursery, and we would not hesitate to recommend it. Our two boys have been in their care for 4-years. They have made lovely bonds with the amazing staff and have always enjoyed going to nursery as a result. Even our 2-year-old has great numeracy and phonics skills, but most importantly, they have both become very independent little boys, which is a key value of Montessori. Streatham Montessori has been a huge part of our children’s early years and one we will always be grateful for.

Our daughter has just finished 3-years with Streatham Montessori Nursery. It has been brilliant for her and our family. She skipped into the door every day. There is such love and warmth from the whole team. They have been running this nursery for decades with some staff there for very long periods - proving it is a good place to work. The ethos of inclusivity is amazing. When we were looking for a nursery, we didn't know where to start. We guessed that if the kids were happy there, that was a pretty good sign. From our first visit, it felt right, and three years later, we feel lucky to have found it. It is difficult to describe how much I would encourage others to send their children here, just do it, you won't regret it.

We are moving home, and very sad not to be with you until she starts school!

They are excellent at involving the parents and listen to what we want for our children, I would definitely have sent my second child here had we not moved too far away! Looking for another nursery will be a tall order as I was so happy with this one. Best wishes for the future Streatham Montessori!

The nursery demonstrates diversity and inclusivity, small classes so the needs of all children will be met efficiently. My daughter enjoys attending the nursery to spend time with her peers and tutors. I will highly recommend Streatham Montessori Nursery to others.

I'm writing this review because I actively want to pay tribute to and thank the wonderful staff at Streatham Montessori for the loving way they have looked after my son. I know we pay them, but they've gone above and beyond. Our son is so happy there, he loves the staff and he loves the little friends he's made.

We wanted somewhere that treated our boy in the same way we do. A place where the staff would give him a cuddle if he cried, teach him to share and interact with others and let him have fun while learning.

Streatham Montessori Nursery has proved far better than we ever dreamed existed. He's gained so much. It's great to know sending your child to nursery doesn't need to be just for your convenience - your child can benefit too. Our son has French, football and music lessons. He has become a very confident and independent child, and so have all his friends.

We have total confidence that he will be taken care of, something he knows too, and we'll be very sad when he eventually leaves in September.

Lovely, nurturing place with a family culture. My child is very happy there and she’s thrived in the years she’s been attending. Highly recommended.

My children have been attending this nursery for over 3 years and couldn't receive better care, all nursery teachers and staff are kind, caring and treat each child as individual and work with their individual personalities and needs. The teaching is excellent, they are learning a range of different things from recycling to being kind and charitable, as well as their traditional education needs and it's always been at the right level all whilst having fun. The nursery takes the time to organise events that keep parents engaged with the activities appropriate for the different age groups such as mother's day drop in breakfast (considers parents' work balance) and regular parents' meetings. The team and management are inherently kind and refreshingly passionate, transparent and pragmatic.

The nursery organise events to help parents socialise which is important. We are updated via an app on his progress and with regular photos. Having spent an hour observing our son at an organised parent breakfast, I left feeling happy and relaxed knowing he is in safe hands and really enjoys the company of the other children and staff.

My daughter has thrived and learnt so much whilst having fun and making new friends. The staff have bent over backwards to help me as a disabled mum and will always try and accommodate me with extra hours if I am struggling. We have also built up a network of mums' support and friendships too through the nursery! My daughter loves it there and so do we and so many other parents. She learns French and does football coaching aged 2!

The Montessori Nursery was our first and preferred choice as we discovered we were very interested in the way they teach. The staff are very attached to the children and try to follow the child's needs as well as very cooperative with the parents. The activities encourage independence and confidence and the level of learning is quite impressive. Our child is very happy at the nursery and seems to be quite advanced comparing to other children at other nurseries. He respects and always listens to his teachers and applies some of the nursery's rules even at home. We would definitely recommend Streatham Montessori Nursery.
