Streatham Montessori nursery is an exciting and engaging place for children to receive care following Montessori teaching. The nursery has a low staff to child ratio which allows children and staff to develop a strong bond allwoing carers to assist children on a personal basis.

Children are able to lead their own learning through play and carers are passionate about helping children to achieve the best start in life.

Streatham Montessori is a wonderful nursery, and we would not hesitate to recommend it. Our two boys have been in their care for 4-years. They have made lovely bonds with the amazing staff and have always enjoyed going to nursery as a result. Even our 2-year-old has great numeracy and phonics skills,
but most importantly, they have both become very independent little boys, which is a key value of Montessori. Streatham Montessori has been a huge part of our children’s early years and one we will always be grateful for.

Our daughter has just finished 3-years with Streatham Montessori Nursery. It has been brilliant for her and our family. She skipped into the door every day. There is such love and warmth from the whole team. They have been running this nursery for decades with some staff there for very long periods
- proving it is a good place to work. The ethos of inclusivity is amazing. When we were looking for a nursery, we didn't know where to start. We guessed that if the kids were happy there, that was a pretty good sign. From our first visit, it felt right, and three years later, we feel lucky to have found it. It is difficult to describe how much I would encourage others to send their children here, just do it, you won't regret it.

This nursery was fantastic for us. My Daughter started at 10-months of age and was comfortable staying there pretty much from the beginning. The teachers are caring and affectionate with the children. There are lots of different activities with the children, and my daughter learned a lot during her
time there. She also loved the contact with the other kids.
The management is approachable, has an open ear and is very friendly.
We are moving home, and very sad not to be with you until she starts school!

My son started the nursery after previously attending a different nursery which he had complained about. Since starting at Streatham Montessori Nursery my son has been very happy here. He has made friends and I have noticed a change in his development for the better. He comes home singing the songs
that he has learnt in french and with 'good work' stickers.
I like the events that they organise involving the children and they regularly go out on nursery trips to the library and parks and Chinatown when they were learning about Chinese new year. They have a broad and varied array of learning to help with their development.
They are excellent at involving the parents and listen to what we want for our children, I would definitely have sent my second child here had we not moved too far away! Looking for another nursery will be a tall order as I was so happy with this one. Best wishes for the future Streatham Montessori!

I will always be grateful to the manager for looking after our children and sparking the first light of their long journey in education. This has been a milestone in their life and will always be a reference point.

Streatham Montessori Nursery and Day Care is an amazing nursery. The practitioners are friendly, polite and vibrant.
The nursery demonstrates diversity and inclusivity, small classes so the needs of all children will be met efficiently. My daughter enjoys attending the nursery to spend time with her

I'm writing this review because I actively want to pay tribute to and thank the wonderful staff at Streatham Montessori for the loving way they have looked after my son. I know we pay them, but they've gone above and beyond. Our son is so happy there, he loves the staff and he loves the little friends
he's made.


We wanted somewhere that treated our boy in the same way we do. A place where the staff would give him a cuddle if he cried, teach him to share and interact with others and let him have fun while learning.


Streatham Montessori Nursery has proved far better than we ever dreamed existed. He's gained so much. It's great to know sending your child to nursery doesn't need to be just for your convenience - your child can benefit too. Our son has French, football and music lessons. He has become a very confident and independent child, and so have all his friends.


We have total confidence that he will be taken care of, something he knows too, and we'll be very sad when he eventually leaves in September.

My children have been attending this nursery for over 3 years and couldn't receive better care, all nursery teachers and staff are kind, caring and treat each child as individual and work with their individual personalities and needs. The teaching is excellent, they are learning a range of different
things from recycling to being kind and charitable, as well as their traditional education needs and it's always been at the right level all whilst having fun. The nursery takes the time to organise events that keep parents engaged with the activities appropriate for the different age groups such as mother's day drop in breakfast (considers parents' work balance) and regular parents' meetings. The team and management are inherently kind and refreshingly passionate, transparent and pragmatic.

We are very happy with the care and attention and the teaching of our son in the past 2 years.
The nursery organise events to help parents socialise which is important. We are updated via an app on his progress and with regular photos. Having spent an hour observing our son at an organised parent breakfast,
I left feeling happy and relaxed knowing he is in safe hands and really enjoys the company of the other children and staff.

My daughter has thrived and learnt so much whilst having fun and making new friends. The staff have bent over backwards to help me as a disabled mum and will always try and accommodate me with extra hours if I am struggling. We have also built up a network of mums' support and friendships too through
the nursery! My daughter loves it there and so do we and so many other parents. She learns French and does football coaching aged 2!

The Montessori Nursery was our first and preferred choice as we discovered we were very interested in the way they teach. The staff are very attached to the children and try to follow the child's needs as well as very cooperative with the parents. The activities encourage independence and confidence
and the level of learning is quite impressive. Our child is very happy at the nursery and seems to be quite advanced comparing to other children at other nurseries. He respects and always listens to his teachers and applies some of the nursery's rules even at home. We would definitely recommend Streatham Montessori Nursery.

We chose this nursery because the owner/manager's views on encouraging children to learn aligned with our own. Our son has since gone from strength to strength. We receive regular emailed updates too on his progress, which is a new thing they've introduced.
The staff are very caring and supportive.
We would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

Streatham Montessori is in my view one of the best nurseries in the area (I visited in total 7 nurseries) I wanted a small caring place for my one-year-old daughter. She settled very quickly thanks to the amazing staff working at the nursery. She is learning useful stuff for her future years at school
and also social skills (sharing, tidying up, feeding by herself). The nursery has been great with potty training and helping her with her English (I only speak Spanish with her and now she says more words in English than Spanish and she goes to nursery only 3 full days). I am also so happy with communication with the nursery, they are always there to listen to the parents and give us advice. The extra activities are brilliant and it's a great opportunity to get to know other parents. The kids also are learning French (free of charge) and football (a small fee).

My son has thrived at the nursery over the last 18 months. We are delighted with how happy he is and the progress he has made in his emotional development, social skills, and learning. He has made many friends and loves his teachers.
All the staff are excellent and have taken great care of our son.
The nursery is professionally run and we have always been impressed with how orderly it is at drop off and collection times. Any health and safety issues have been dealt with appropriately and we have never had any concerns.
They are also very good at providing feedback on what he has done at school - with notes on a daily basis in the baby class and regular updates and photos through a website for all classes. Termly parents evening gives more detailed feedback and insights.
Overall, we are delighted with the nursery and would strongly recommend it to family, friends and others.

I sent my daughter to this nursery on her first birthday till now (for more than a year and a half) and we are delighted with the nursery. She's learning a lot for her age (like days of the week, songs and also how to feed by herself, tidy up her toys, brushing her teeth etc..) The nursery also helped
us as parents in raising our daughter and the staff is always there to answer our questions. We highly recommend Streatham Montessori

Streatham Montessori is a fantastic nursery where my daughter has continued to excel and develop at an amazing rate. The facilities are modern and great for development, but the real gem is the staff. They are friendly, professional and very good at what they do. My daughter's excitement when I drop
her off speaks volumes, I barely get a goodbye and I know I am leaving her in good hands. I would have no hesitation in sending any future children to Streatham Montessori.

As a family, we have had a relationship with the nursery for five years, with both of our children having attended from the age of one to four and therefore benefitted from the care and attention and education from the baby room, all the way to the older children's classroom. We are very happy with

Our daughter attended Streatham Montessori from age 1-4 years and we were very pleased with her care. The nursery has an intimate family feel and the staff are great. She has flourished, particularly in the preschool class where she has learnt reading, writing, maths, French, football, the world maps
and other topics.
The nursery has a calm, can do vibe and encourages independence in the children. Although the outdoor space isn't huge, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery.
