My son has been at Streatham Montessori for over a year now and the only reason he is leaving is because we are moving away. Streatham Montessori is a truly wonderful place and my son has been so happy during his time there. As a parent, it is invaluable to know your child is safe and happy at nursery and this has certainly been the case. He has learned so much since joining and constantly amazes me with all the new things he comes home saying and doing. The staff are so caring and communication has always been great. If I could take the nursery with me, I would!! We will really miss everyone.

Our son attended this nursery for 3.5 years, and it was wonderful. The staff are kind and very caring, and I always felt very confident leaving my son with them. They made it really fun for him, and he looked forward to his days there. My son has several food allergies, and they were excellent at dealing with them and keeping him safe. I would highly recommend this nursery to any family!

My son has join the nursery for more than a year and we love it. Everyone is really lovely and caring. I wanted a Montessori nursery and a family/home feel, and Streatham Montessori Day Nursery offer exactly what I was looking for and my son loves it.

(Email sent to the Nursery after settling in period) I just wanted to email you to say thank you for such a wonderful and reassuring first few days of settling for baby (and myself!) While I had no doubt about my choice of setting, this past week and a half has simply consolidated in my mind that I have made the right choice. From the calm and skilled staff who have taken baby each day, to the daily communication, the photos and messages on the app, great chats and the knowledge that the staff truly care for ALL of the other babies. The icing on the cake was when I was privileged enough to join my son for the end of his nap on Friday - the babies were so settled, calm and well looked after. Your team are absolute angels - and I told them this! Of course, I know that there will be ups and downs as we all continue to settle and adjust to the longer days in the setting, but for now, I have gone into the weekend a v happy mama and will be returning to work v reassured. THANK YOU!

Excellent nursery with wonderful, caring and nurturing staff. My son attended since he was 15months old and sadly we moved out of the area! It was definitely a home from home for my LO and made going to work that much easier!

Streatham Montessori is a very special place. Our two children started both at 10 months old and the level of care and attention they both received was amazing. The staff are lovely and it was a joy to chat to them at the end of the day at pick-up to find out what the kids had been up to each day. There is a lovely atmosphere that the manager and her team have created at the nursery and we'll be forever grateful for the time our children spent there.

An absolutely beautiful and homely nursery! from the 1st day of viewing to settling in days to my daughter's last day-(36 months old) was amazing! I had my daughter here since she was 12 months old. Very warm and caring staff from the Manager is such an angel! To my daughter's key carers in her baby room - to preschool staff were exception, sweet and so loving. They cared for my baby as though she was theirs. They made returning to work after maternity so bliss for me. My daughter learned a great deal, very clean space, a structured curriculum, feedback, milestones, nap time, pictures, etc available daily on the app. She started speaking so clearly in no time, came home with lots to tell about her day, and loved that her day was filled with so many indoor/outdoor activities and trips outside of the nursery. Love the family feel and it was the best nursery exp. 100% recommended! We had the best time! definitely the only nursery for my kids!

Fantastic nursery setting! So welcoming and nurturing. Had my daughter attend since she was 20 months old and the only reason we left was because we moved out of the area! Very caring staff! I felt like I was dropping her off with family. Would definitely recommend it.

Our 2 children have in total spent 7 very happy years at this nursery. The staff are caring and diligent and foster an environment of mutual tolerance and kindness. There is a structured curriculum with clear learning goals, and regular feedback is provided on each child (including via an app where you can see daily and weekly observations). The nursery also provides excellent home-cooked food and will cater flexibly for allergies (our son in his first years had several). Our children enjoyed playing in the nursery garden, as well as the occasional trips outside of the nursery (e.g. to a particular park and theatre), all of which greatly enriched their experience. There are also occasional events where parents can join in, e.g. on Mother/Father's Day, which are always memorable. The spirit is to work in partnership with parents and we have felt very much a part of that community over the years. This is a valuable and safe space and very much recommended!

The nursery is well located close to transport links. The staff are very caring and accommodating. My daughter loves her keyworker and support staff. They go on day excursions to the library, park and walk around the community. There is also yoga for babies which my daughter really loves. The management team are always responsive and communicates milestones and next steps clearly. The app used for daily communication (food, naps and nappy changes) is very user-friendly. Would recommend Streatham Montessori Nursery to any family.

My daughter has been attending Streatham Montessori for over 2 years now. I highly recommend! My nieces, who are now 9 years old and 11 years old, also attended this nursery when they were little and the standards and quality of care has remained the same all these years. I love the home away from home feeling. It gives me great satisfaction being at work knowing my daughter is being well looked after and stimulated.

Our son attended Streatham Montessori for one and a half years and we couldn’t recommend it enough, this is a truly amazing nursery. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind and intuitive. We never had to worry about our son while he was there and he learnt so much from his time there. If you’re in any doubt as to where to send your child, send them here, it is the best start you could possibly hope for!

We were so happy to find this nursery - having been to a Montessori nursery myself we loved the philosophy, and we liked the cosy family-home vibes. Our daughter started just before her first birthday, and she went in happily from the start! Over the year that she was there she absolutely thrived, coming out happy every day, with new bits of knowledge that we didn't expect her to have learned yet. They helped her to overcome an apprehension towards messy play, which she learned to love, and her confidence and independence grew during her time there. I loved the creative touches - the staff would make little keepsakes like Christmas decorations with her face on, or laminated photo books, that were just precious. I was also so happy with the food she was served, it was more nutritious and varied than I've seen elsewhere. It felt like a home from home, and honestly it was one of the reasons we put off moving from the area, but sadly after a year we had to say goodbye. We will miss it!

Our son attended the Montessori for almost 4 years, we found it a positive experience and aligned with our values of child-led focuses in Montessori. It is a lovely community with strong bonds between the teachers and children and lots of effort put into making sure parents feel involved, with seasonal events and picture updates. We loved the small, family house feel setting, where we felt our son had a good time expressing his interests and had varied activities either within the site or on trips. The garden is great, a good space to have in a central location, the mud kitchen was a firm favourite of our sons! He was sad to leave for school, as were we, but he had a good grounding that I feel will serve him well when he's at school and he's made some great friends!

I would thoroughly recommend this nursery which my daughter attended for 4 years. The genuine care and attention of the staff is felt through every interaction and my daughter developed into a confident, happy and curious pre-schooler under their supervision. The Montessori principles are lived by with children encouraged to become independent and the quality of the education is high. The setting is light and clean with a good outdoor space and home-cooked meals. Children occasionally go on day trips and there are social family events. Also teacher review sessions every few months with helpful feedback.

Excellent nursery. The teachers are patient and really care about the child and their development. My son was happy and made some amazing connections and friends. Would be great if the communication could be improved on activities, etc, but regular meetings with the key carer keep you up to date on your child's progress.

My son attended Montessori Nursery since the pandemic times. He was well looked after and supported by members of staff. He made strong friendships there and we parents met many parents we are still in touch with even when we are not there anymore. The nursery celebrated different cultures and events which fits well with the diverse communities in Lambeth. I love how the children's birthdays are celebrated reflecting on their journey since the age 1,2,3 and so on. There are many good memories from this nursery and I recommend it to any prospective families especially if you want your child to be in smaller classrooms and have a chance to learn at their own pace.

Both of our children had a fantastic time at Streatham Montessori. They made excellent progress, were well looked after, made great friends and fully ready to start school by the time they left. The staff here are fantastic: extremely caring, reliable, and encouraging. This is a proper Montessori run on proper Montessori principles and the children learn through play and exploring their world, as well as equipment specifically for learning letters, numbers and quantities. And the way they are able to get all these young children calmly sitting around the table and serving each other lunch is a thing to behold! Our family will have fond memories of this nursery for many many years. Thank you all!

We adore Streatham Montessori and all the staff who work there! The most important thing about a nursery is the people caring for your little ones, and the staff at this nursery are amazing. They stay for years and years, which gives the place an amazing family feel and makes the children feel super settled and attached. My oldest has just left for school and still talks every day about her key worker. The manager owns the nursery and is still at the front door welcoming us, 30 years after she set it up. It's a really special place which we are thrilled to have found.

My experience with Streatham Montessori has been spectacular. Both of my children have really enjoyed their time here and have learnt so much. They confidence and independence has grown since being there age 1. It feels like a community being part of Streatham Montessori. Highly recommend.
