Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Maida Vale

Really lovely nursery. We felt reassured and happy to have our son at Co-op Childcare Maida Vale nursery. The staff were so lovely, they always had different activities for the kids and we got regular updates on meals, play, sleep etc. Everyone was very friendly and caring. Highly recommended.

My partner and I are very happy with the Maida Vale Nursery. Since our son started in September, we have seen huge development. He is more confident, open, communicative and enjoys going to the nursery. We have noticed and highly appreciate the patience, devotion and proactive work of his key persons to give him confidence, communication tools and security so that he can open up, experiment and flourish. We are glad to hear him saying many English words and singing rhymes, which he has learned at the nursery. This is especially valuable to us because English is his second language and we see that he is adapting well into the new environment. This is just one example of how the team is focusing on the specific needs of the child, which we highly value. We also highly appreciate the support we have received from his key person as parents. On a couple of occasions, I've been impressed by how she puts my son's needs first, which we believe is the right approach. Big thanks to the team!

Food is good.

Our experience of the nursery has been extremely positive. Our daughter has been at the nursery since she was 9 months old and is incredibly happy there and she very much loves her carers. The staff were very supportive of her settling in and trying to get her to transition to drinking milk from a bottle. She is now 17 months old and really benefits from her time at nursery and is always excited to be there when we drop her off.

Would highly recommend this nursery.

We have only been here 3/4months but I would like to see more detail on my daughter's development and although COVID restricts it a 121 would be really appreciated.

The nursery has amazing staff, both in the administrative team as well as in the children's rooms. Their care and support for the children is amazing. The staff are supportive with parents too. The children thrive in this nursery and this can be seen on their faces every time we left our little one there. The facilities are great too. They have plenty of open space and this translates into the happiness of kids. I have to congratulate all the staff and I wish them continued success in the amazing work they do.

We loved our time with the Co-op Nursery in Maida Vale and were very sad to leave when moving to another suburb. Our son joined when he was 12 months and the settling in sessions worked wonders for making him and us comfortable with the new transition. The staff were all wonderful and very understanding of his individual needs, like food allergies and nap times - the menus were fantastic! His key worker gave us regular feedback on the nursery app as to how he was developing and what we could do to continue his learning at home. The nursery has great facilities and put a lot of emphasis on outdoor time, even in the winter as they have sheltered areas (they also visit the local park and nursing home). Lastly, I found all interactions with management and administrative processes to be very easy - the default is to be understanding and flexible - the Covid communications were flawless. Our son loved his nursery experience and we'd recommend it to others in a heartbeat. We'll miss you all!

My son loves the nursery, as do I.

Our son has become a very social, confident and kind boy whilst in the care of the Co-op nursery. His progression is visible on a daily basis and he genuinely loves going into nursery every morning. The staff are kind, engaging, caring and approachable and communicate with parents both in person as well as through the Parent Zone app on a daily basis. We are very pleased our son is in the Co-op nursery and would highly recommend it.

I highly recommend it will be sad when my son leaves for Reception next September.

We are especially pleased and would like to praise her Key Person. She quickly managed to establish a very positive connection with our daughter (and us, the parents). We always felt that her Key Person was very caring with her (and with other kids as well!). She did a lot of specific work to support our daughter's understanding of English knowledge and get her confident in the language since at home we don’t speak in English. Our daughter was also encouraged to do physical activity (which she repeated at home) and encouraged to try new things, aiming at her development.

Great nursery. Caring staff. Good food and are able to cater for gluten-free kids. They really care about each individual child’s progress, in terms of learning, unlike other nurseries where they just play.

The teachers and the management were very receptive to our requests and questions and went over and above to help us as a family make the girls' time at the nursery positive.

The nursery provides a safe and a positive environment for children to explore and learn. The staff are in particular excellent with good staff retention meaning good relationships with both children and parents.

Excellent childcare provider. My 2 year old loves it. She is well looked after and thrives in the environment. The management team are excellent and very approachable if you want to have a quick chat. Highly recommend, my 3rd child currently attends the other 2 love going back and remembering their time there.

Clean institute and nice environment .

My son loves the nursery; wonderful staff and thoughtful activities and it feels very safe which gives me peace of mind as a parent.
