Co-op Childcare Woolwich

My son was born through the pandemic, so once I returned to work I needed to find a nursery that would support and encourage the lack of exposure to activities/playgroups etc. he has had and also interact with him again, something that has been very limited throughout his first year. I visited a few nurseries, some very unhelpful or restrictive due to Covid even though lockdown had eased, soon as I visited this nursery I got a sense of care, attention and values towards the growth and development of the children and their parents. Loved the layout and resources available to children.

In June my daughter transitioned from one room to another as she became 2. The transition was handled well and myself and my daughter were reassured by knowing what to expect and even asked what we would like her to be learning in her new room. I found this really good and meeting her new key person was a relief with not being able to come into the nursery.

It is almost impossible not to appreciate the work the staff and management of Co-op Childcare Woolwich. I have only to go through the pictures gallery of my daughter from when she was a toddler to when she started calling other kids "Toddlers" and now getting ready for reception next month. It's has been an incredible journey for us the parent and the kids and there are no better people to share that journey with than you guys at Woolwich Co-op. The incredible work you do is evident in the brilliant growth observed in our kids. The live feeds on the web profile have also been brilliant as it allows real-time follow up on what the kids are up to and the professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff and management have been impeccable. I will certainly continue to recommend you to friends and family. Thanks.

I am very happy with the Co-op Childcare Woolwich Day Nursery. My eldest child attended here a few years back and my youngest has been here for a year now. I feel the staff are very caring, helpful, kind and friendly. Even though due to Covid we haven’t been able to go inside the nursery, it is always nice to know about my child’s day with the verbal feedback given at home time.

I would highly recommend this nursery as it provides quality care for my baby without breaking the bank. My child is always happy to see the staff from his room and happy when we pick him up. This suggests to me that he is well looked after and enjoys his time there. I can see a lot of positive differences in my child's personality from when he started nursery. He is more social and his communication skills have improved as well. He eats almost everything offered at the nursery which is not the case at home. His motor skills have improved with all the activities he gets exposed to at the nursery. The staff give us an update on his day when we pick him up and are always helpful. All in all, this is an excellent nursery.

My child appears to enjoy going to nursery and has a good relationship with all the staff so I am told. There is rather poor communication both in-person and through the parent sharing app coupled with a constant change of staff making it is difficult to know who is who. We have had two Teams meetings during the last year though nothing for the parents to get to know each other. Prior to Covid, there were evening events put on for parents. Management does not appear to take responsibility, rather passing it down to the room staff along with the blame for mistakes or disappointment. Though I have been asked for feedback, it does not seem to be considered as there has been very little response. There are some really passionate staff members who genuinely care about the kids. The location, hours and cost are the main reasons we remain here.

I have had a pleasant experience with Co-op childcare nursery, My daughter has allergies and they have catered to her needs perfectly. I will highly recommend this nursery. The staff are amazing and very attentive!

We are happy with the care of our little one. Our boy has difficulties with eating different types of food in general and we are happy that from time to time he at least tried to eat something at the nursery. This gives us hope that he will be less fussy eventually. He is coming home always happy which suggests that he is enjoying his time at the nursery.

Both my children now attend this nursery, my 4-year-old has been attending for 3 years and has been happy since joining. I saw a difference in her development soon after joining and it wasn’t long before she was speaking words. I am really happy with her development since, especially with numbers. My 1-year-old started in May and under the pressure of the pandemic, I was nervous for her but the staff at Co-op Childcare Woolwich (Brookhill) ensured that she settled comfortably and within a couple of weeks I can see that she is no longer as wary around new faces. Staff are always welcoming and have time to talk about how the day has gone, regardless of the fact that Covid now means they have to bring children out to the front gates and must be very busy. I have never had any complaints about the service or staff and would recommend to other parents.

As parents we would absolutely recommend the Co-op Childcare Woolwich (Woolwich Little Pioneers Nursery) to other parents. Our daughter adapted perfectly, she is always happy to go, and we can see the evolution in communication, motor skills, sharing and listening. The staff is highly competent and friendly, and we have the peace of mind of knowing our daughter is in good hands.

I am very happy with the nursery and the staff working there and I will happily recommend it to friends and family. My son has attended this nursery since he was one year old and I couldn't be more happy with the way he developed.

We are really happy to have chosen this nursery for our son! The staff helped him to settle and after a few days he runs inside by himself in the morning! The staff is always kind and nice and thanks to the app we are constantly updated on how his day is going!

My daughter has been attending since she was 2 years 4 months. Each day when she gets picked up, I can see the changes and progression in her development. The staff have been so supportive of her in all stages of her development and I also like how new information is documented for her to learn.

My nephew attends the nursery and every time I collect him, he is always happy and never wants to leave. The staff are very informative and let me know how his day has been. During the pandemic the nursery have worked so hard in keeping our children safe and we thank them for that. Keep up the good work.

I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the professionalism and dedication of the staff at the Co-op Childcare Woolwich. Their attention to detail and diligence towards their job is second to none. I feel so reassured that my nephew is being taken care of to a first class standard.

Very friendly and caring staff, kids are 100% entertained and cuddled when they need comfort while parents aren’t around. My niece gets home always happy and full of experience that she memorises on daily basis. Only positive experiences she brings with her. Everyone is lovely.

My girl loves preschool, she talks about the staff and her friends and how much fun she has all the time. We are so happy that she is learning and enjoying nursery. Feedback is given every home time and also the parent app has every meal included as well as other fun pictures that show what my daughter has been doing.

My daughter has been attending Co-op Childcare Woolwich for over four years now. From day one she has been looking forward to her days at the nursery and come back happy with stories to tell. The staff are brilliant with daily feedback's about her day. We are also kept well informed of her developments.

We are so grateful for all the love and care our son gets every day at the nursery. Settling was a bit hard for him but everybody at the nursery was so patient, loving and understanding towards him but also towards me as an anxious mum. He is now so happy and loves coming to the nursery. We love all the updates, observations and information from the app. This has been really reassuring and important, especially now that we cannot go inside the nursery. Communication during lockdown has been amazing and we really admire all that the nursery has done for our children and the community in such unprecedented and difficult times.
