Co-op Childcare Woolwich is an all-on-one-level, airy nursery which is set within Brookhill Children's Centre, allowing access to special services for parents an children like health visitors, midwife appointments and childcare classes.

They use their 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with their children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They are big on happy children and that's why they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world. They are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with things like photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

Co-op Childcare Woolwich has 3 home rooms, split into the following age groups: Baby room for 3 months – 20/24 months, Toddler room for 2-3 year olds and Pre-school room for the 3-5 year olds. All three rooms lead out to the play areas as they do promote an open door policy where play is extended outdoors in all weathers.

The staff at this nursery truly make all the difference in the world to the upbringing of our girls. Our eldest started when she was just 10 months old and has now moved on to school, where she's thriving. We genuinely believe this is thanks to the confidence, kindness and nurturing she received here.
Her key persons, Jemma and Agnes, were absolute stars, and Sarah and Sophie also played such an important part in her journey. Our youngest joined at 9 months and is now close to her one-year anniversary - first with Sarah, who was fantastic, and now with Nav, who's equally wonderful. The team always go above and beyond to share daily feedback and offer gentle, thoughtful guidance that works beautifully for the children. Our girls always come home happy and confident. With Chef Shami now back, the food is delicious, healthy and varied. We're endlessly grateful to this amazing team - thank you for everything you do!

Our son has been going to the nursery since he turned one and has thrived so much. He is now three and loves going to the nursery. They really help them explore the world and have great activities. The kids really interact and seem like they have great fun and really care for each other . I had no idea
they can form friendships like this and I think that's due to the staff teaching them kindness and good social behaviour. We are really happy.

Our 17-month-old son has settled in very well at Co-op Childcare Woolwich. The baby room staff have been outstanding from day one. They are warm, patient, and clearly invested in the children. Their calm and consistent approach has given us real peace of mind. We receive regular updates and photos through
the day, which keeps us informed and reassured.
The food menu is strong. Meals are balanced and varied, with a clear focus on nutrition. Our son eats well there, which speaks for itself.
The activities are thoughtful and well-planned. They cover sensory play, music, outdoor time, and early communication. He comes home engaged and upbeat, often showing something new he has picked up.
The team have built a caring and well-run environment. We recommend the setting without hesitation.

Staff are caring and kind and organise a varied range of fun and educational activities. Children are encouraged to spend lots of time playing outside every day and to explore their environment. The management team are well organised and good at communicating with parents. There is a varied and healthy
menu provided. Both my sons attended this nursery and my youngest has just left to start school. It's a friendly, warm nursery and we will miss it!

My son has been with Little Pioneers since he was 14months old! The staff is comprised of caring and loving people who love these children and are committed to seeing them grow and develop. They have celebrated all the milestones with me. My son can express himself very well, he can now feed himself,
he can grip and write, he has become so confident from the nurture of the environment at nursery. I appreciate how the staff is prompt and thorough in handling the children when they are not well. My son has asthma and they have helped him to use his inhaler and manage his symptoms well. I am called with an update can be assured that he is safe and well. I cannot has selected a better nursery for us!!

The team at this nursery are fantastic - really friendly, attentive, caring. I know that my child is in safe hands with them. The facilities are good. I get regular updates throughout the day on what they are eating, activities, nappy changes etc. My only issue with the nursery was that it took a long
time to get a place - around 1.5 years - and I only found out that we got a place because I walked in and asked. The waiting list communication could have been much better.

We are happy with the attention and care that our child receives. Well supported by the key worker, managers and other staff members. His progress is very satisfactory.
Meal is good - shout out to the chef.
However, the high staff turnover is a bit concerning as our child thrives with consistency.
I know people would do what's best for themselves.

My son comes home happy. I'm impressed with staff and how all of them know my son's name even though some of them care for different room. I'm not worried when my child is there, I can always text his room or check on the app what's he's been up to. I can see he's also made developmental progress since

I'd like to share a little feedback about the nursery. First of all, I want to say that all the teachers are very kind and do a fantastic job with the children; I've seen great progress in my daughter, and I'm truly grateful for that. Just a small suggestion: I've noticed that sometimes the environment
could be a bit cleaner. I think it would be a good idea to avoid wearing shoes inside the room. I've noticed that children go to the garden and come back with dirty shoes, and parents or others also walk in with outdoor shoes. Since children often play on the floor, this could bring dirt and germs into the space, making it less hygienic for them. With illnesses like scarlet fever going around, perhaps more frequent and thorough cleaning could help ensure an even safer and healthier.

My toddler loves nursery and is doing very well developmentally. It is all thanks to the wonderful staff. They follow the EYFS curriculum closely and provide actionable feedback.
Though the management has been in flux, it hasn't affected the quality of care and education. My feedback would be a little
more transparency around daily/weekly activities if possible.

My twins have been at the nursery almost 2 years and from the very beginning, the staff have shown care, consideration and professionalism. During the induction session, my mind was instantly put at ease and this continued as my two moved up rooms. The nursery operates an inclusive setting for all families,
taking note of the specific family set up details. The regular updates and family inclusion sessions have been amazing. The current manager started a few months back and within weeks you could see the beneficial changes she has made with the wider team of staff, which is instantly recognised when you visit the nursery. My twins are progressing really well and enjoy attending the nursery. I would highly recommend the nursery to others.

We have been with the nursery since 2023 and my daughter has grown in the nursery guidance. What I appreciate the most is the connection each of the teacher has with the kids, not only as a key person but in general. They see immense pride in how the kids develop, and as a working mom who doesn't get

My daughter joined the nursery at 9 months old in July and we couldn't be happier. She is well supported and cared for, the practitioners are always welcoming and take time to get to know and understand her. Even though my daughter attends the Ladybird room, practitioners from all rooms make a great

I've sent two of my children to Co-op Childcare Woolwich and have been very happy with the settling. The nursery offers a family like atmosphere with kind and caring staff who go above and beyond their daily duties. There have been some positive changes since the new manager joined in; the learning
environments are more inviting, and more resources have been purchased. Parental involvement has been strengthened with many events being organised for families to join in. The observations and next steps enable me to extend my child's learning at home.
The only disadvantage of the nursery is the doorbell system which it is not the staff fault. Its very stressful for me in the mornings to drop off children and often I need to wait to be let in which delays my journey to work. If this was in place, I would give the nursery 10/10.
