Partou Rosendale Road Day Nursery & Pre-School

Our son is in the main room and our daughter is in the baby room - we have been really happy at Nelly's. The staff are lovely and the place has a nice atmosphere - the children seem to really enjoy it and I feel very happy leaving them there.

Leaving your child in care is a daunting process, however, the staff at Nelly’s have been extremely accommodating and have made it an easy and smooth process. Our son has now been at the nursery for close to a year and absolutely loves it. The staff are warm, engaging and on top of your child’s development plan. I am amazed by how many new skills he comes home with on a daily basis. The facilities are great with lots of varied activities for the kids. While the outdoor space isn’t huge, they have done a great job in maximising the space as much as possible.

Our son has been going to Nelly's baby room for over 6 months now. He really enjoys being at the nursery and we are very satisfied with the level of care and attention provided to him. The staff are always very friendly and happy to chat to us about his day at pick up. The facilities and food are excellent. In addition, the nursery hours are fantastic for working parents commuting to central London.

There are always loads of interesting activities set up both inside and outside and they have a lovely big hall to use as well as the main playroom. My daughter comes home happy and calm every evening. Very pleased so far.

Our daughter has been attending Nelly's since she was 10 months old and they have had a huge influence in helping her to become the lively, enthusiastic nearly 3 year old she is today. She loves the place and the staff and I would happily recommend it to other parents.

Outside space - fine for when they are small but less so when they are bigger. Menu was heavy in sweet and sugary food but they accommodated our preferences and then adjusted their menu. Turnover of staff high whilst we were there which was a shame as we loved them all. We haven’t been impressed with either manager who has been there over the past year. Main room feels too chaotic for the smaller children.

Our son has been at Nelly's Rosendale for just under a year now and it's safe to say that he's enjoyed every second of it. Throughout this time he has developed at an extraordinary rate which in no small terms is down to the skill, knowledge and fantastic care provided by the wonderful staff. The nursery is both warm and welcoming and a pleasure to take our son to.

Our son has settled easily and smoothly due to the care and attention of the dedicated staff.

Brilliant staff, daughter always happy and clearly thriving. Lots of thoughtful activities for her to do and a great focus on diet with lots of balanced meals.

My son started at Nelly's in March, this coincided with a new nursery manager being put into place. The nursery is wonderful, the staff are calm and nurturing, the play is exploratory and creative, using a lot of natural materials and gets away from brash plastic toys. Each child has a key worker and as a parent, you are supplied with a monthly review of what your child has been doing and suggestions on things you can continue to work on at home. There is excellent information provided about what they have done and eaten each day, and a weekly newsletter to summarise the activities that have taken place over the week.

The main thing for me is that my son is clearly so happy there and we have seen a lovely development in his personality and strengths as he matures.

Fabulous nursery, wonderful, kind and friendly staff. Our daughter is settling in very well and we couldn't be happier.

The only downside that we’ve observed is that staff sickness appears quite high, although the replacement agency staff are very engaging, and this doesn’t seem to affect the children’s happiness.

Nelly's Nursery - Rosendale Road has a fantastic indoor hall for extra space and is a great size in the baby room and toddler room too. It definitely feels like a safe and secure environment. Our key worker also picks up on important development stages and milestones in our daughter's life and celebrates them with her.

Nice buildings. Spacious rooms. Staff are friendly. We are well informed of the progress of the child.

We have only been at the nursery for two months but so far we have been very impressed by the welcoming, caring and professional staff. The settling in process was very clearly communicated to us and during the actual settling in days they were extremely clear in explaining their policies, caring about our son and so made the process so much more bearable for us.My son loves it there and having come from a different nursery environment I cannot praise Nelly's enough - I have finally got full trust again in the practitioners looking after my son.

Nelly's Rosendale Road is a fantastic nursery with warm, energetic and loving staff. Our daughter has been there for 1 year, joining at the age of two and couldn't be happier. She has made lots of friends and developed close bonds with the key workers. We particularly like the vast space of the two main rooms as well as the opportunity to play outside. We also like the structure of the play that is offered and the variety including French lessons! We feel she is really benefitting from her time there and developing as she approaches time for 'big school'.

We have recently also sent our baby son there and he has really settled in over the past two months. The staff in the baby room are so gentle and loving towards him and the space itself feels a safe place for him, whilst the occasional joint activities with the older children, we feel are good for his development. It also allows our eldest to pop in and visit him as and when she likes which is great for their bond.

This is a wonderful nursery where our son has been very happy for over three years. The staff at Nelly's are amazing. They are caring, creative in organising a diverse range of activities to encourage children to explore the world and accommodate each individual child's own personality and needs. Our son has many different allergies and the nursery has been extremely helpful in accommodating his condition. The staff are always very attentive to early signs of the onset of an allergic reaction. They help us find foods and arts and crafts material our son can use and generally manage to make him feel included in celebrations and activities despite his allergies.

My son has been at Nelly's for almost a year now and he could not be happier. The time and dedication they put into making sure he is happy, looked after and learning is amazing. I really enjoyed the nursery outing which was a lot of fun and really nice to get to know other parents and staff. They have been exceptionally helpful with us arranging for nannies and family to do pick ups when needed and have also been very accommodating on the odd day we needed to put him in to nursery on top of our regular days. He is a big lover of being outdoors and there is great outdoor space which he loves playing in and it is great to see him outside enjoying it when we come to pick him up a lot of the time. We have regular contact with his key worker who knows him very well and has a great bond, allowing us to get regular, informal and more formal updates on his progress. It's really nice to have somewhere where we know he is being well looked after and having a lot of fun with his friends, thank you!

My daughter has been at this nursery for nearly 2 years, from when she was 11 months. She’s very happy and settled there. The staff have always taken a keen interest in getting to know her and giving her opportunities to discover and develop her interests. I particularly like the positive ethos and it’s lovely to see how kind and caring the children are towards each other, fostered by an atmosphere of gentle care from the staff. I’d certainly recommend this nursery.

I chose this nursery because of its outstanding reputation, because they had a clearly separated area for babies to sleep, in their own cots (when full time) and the staff were obviously professionally prepared to care for small babies. I also liked the way that each space flows into the other, outside and inside and that the little ones get to experience mixing with the older children at some times of the day. My daughter has been there from the age of 6 months and has had a very nurturing and happy experience in the baby room. The nursery is very accommodating with details specific for each baby, such as bottle type and formula type preferred and the food menu is good and varied, with a 6-week rotating menu frequently including hot food at tea time and with a morning and evening snack. Although the outside space at this branch is limited, it is sufficient and the children spend a good amount of time there.
