A caring and nurturing nursery at Holland Park

Holland Park Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is located five minutes’ walk from Holland Park and Notting Hill Stations. Their entrance into Ladbroke Square gardens, which is a private garden, has an entry code to gain entry and exit. Convenient visitor parking at the front of the nursery enables safe drop off and pick up times. With longer opening times from 7.30am – 6.30pm, they are ideally located for commuting parents.

The nursery is bright, spacious and fully resourced rooms allow the children to free flow between the indoors and the outdoor environment, plus the Art Studio is where children can be creative and expressive. The large rooftop garden and 3 dedicated outdoor areas allow children of all age groups to explore the world around them.

Bright Horizons enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain the knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. The setting is language-rich, and the nursery participate in the ECAT (Every Child a Talker) programme to bring the best out of every child.

We had an extremely positive experience at Bright Horizon Holland Park. Our 21 months daughter has been developing so much since she joined and she was running to go to the school in the afternoon saying us bye while running to join her amazing teacher and her colleagues. Our daughter's teacher has
done a fantastic job, developing her and making our daughter even more independent, happy and confident. The Manager of the school is also extremely nice and professional. We highly recommend the school. The only reason we are leaving is that we are leaving London but if we could, we would have to bring the school with us in our luggage!

My two kids who are eighteen months and four years old are so happy in this nursery. They always do plenty of activities and are learning a lot. The staff are really nice and available to answer any questions. They went beyond expectations during the Covid-19 time to support parents.

Extremely happy with the care my child received attending this nursery. Staff are very professional and friendly. Facilities are good, especially with the outdoor play. Covid measures were taken seriously and dealt with a strict manner; couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this nursery to

A really great nursery, friendly and professional staff and happy kids. My daughter has really developed since joining and is always eager to walk in the door. My children are very happy in the nursery and look forward to going there each morning. They love all staff who are very caring and friendly. The outdoor space for playing is fantastic, and each age group has its own space with age suitable toys. As a mum, I feel 100% confident that my children are
looked after in a caring, loving way as well as stimulated appropriately to their age needs, they do lots of crafts every day, play outside, learn to read and count, so they are ready for a reception class when their time comes. They have been attending this nursery since September 2019 and have gone through different classes, which differ in age, but what they all have in common is the caring staff. The food is cooked freshly on-premises and is well balanced and delicious. This nursery is a win-win, open throughout the year with no half terms, which is very helpful for working parents.

We have had the most amazing experience at Bright Horizons Holland Park. Everyone looked after and cared for our daughter extremely well. We were there just under a year and saw such an improvement in our daughter during her time there. We will miss everyone and want to say a huge thank you for everything.

Our daughter attended this gem of a nursery for two years. Expertly and lovingly run by the manager and the toddler and preschool room admirably and lovingly run by the room leader, our child was extremely happy here. The whole staff from the teachers/carers to the kitchen staff are just excellent and
the atmosphere in the nursery is bright and cheerful. Upon leaving, we were presented with two books charting our daughter's progress throughout her two years, with photos and written reports. These serve as a wonderful memory of her ages 3-5 and are something we would have been proud of doing ourselves!
I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to my family and friends (I already have). Our daughter spent two happy, formative and well cared for years here and she will miss going there immensely and as she told me today “I will miss all my teachers”. And I will miss going there to pick her up everyday! We have been left with wonderful memories of this marvellous institution!

Our daughter started at Bright Horizons Holland Park when she was 11 months old, she has loved it there ever since, she is now 20 months old. She enjoys painting, baking, messy play and loves singing the nursery rhymes and bilingual beats. The toys are clean and of a large variety. One of her all-time
favourites is the baby gym and of course playing outside in the gardens (the baby room has 2 outside spaces). We are very happy because she is happy!

My daughter attended Bright Horizons for 1,5 years and we absolutely loved it. The staff is amazing, and the nursery manager listens to any concerns and take actions accordingly. The large outdoor space is rarity in London and the children go out regularly. Thank you so much for being kind and caring!

I brought my child to the nursery a few years ago with speech and language delays. Today I am the happiest I could be due to seeing how many positive changes that have happened. Huge progress in speech and language, much more independence in daily routine tasks. Very good care, excellent communication

My son loved this nursery and settled in quickly, staff were kind and facilitating. Very transparent and well intentional staff and management.


Only criticism is the staff seem really stretched so less time can be delegated to innovative education or taking time off so activities can be based on

an individual basis, but that is no fault of the staff.

I am absolutely thrilled with Bright Horizons, this is a beautiful centre. The educators are caring and work hard. I've seen a lot of progress in my son's speech development (coming from a bilingual family). The preschool group has a nice size garden only for their group. I would definitely recommend
this daycare to all my friends.

When we decided to put our son into nursery, everyone told us "it is hard at the beginning, he will cry, but after a couple of weeks he will settle." I was very anxious on my first settling day. I was given the option to leave the room after 1 hour, the nursery told me they would call me if he gets
upset. I anxiously stood by my phone for the entire hour and the nursery contacted me not long after saying the "he has done surprisingly well for his first day and has just fell asleep, we will call you when he wakes up". I felt at rest that my son was being well cared for. It was such a relief to be back to work without guilt. For that, I am very thankful. The management team and carers are great and happy to work here, and always have a positive attitude. Our son is happy and developing well. The building is very bright and clean. I highly recommend this nursery. I had the chance to visit a few nurseries and it is very rare to find a nursery that ticks all the boxes.

My 3 year old son has been at the nursery Ladbroke Grove for almost two years, and our 18 months and daughter started at the nursery almost 6 months ago. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, the staff are loving the food is wonderful and the facilities are the best I have seen in London. As part of
