Bright Horizons Eltham Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool

Our daughter is in the preschool room and greatly enjoys her time while at the setting twice a week. She talks about her practitioners as 'my teachers' and her peers as 'students'. We are Muslims so she is served with a vegetarian menu. The staff is amazing and caring and listens to our concerns with complete understanding. Parents are encouraged to go inside each room to drop off and pick up the child. We stay updated with our daughter's activities each day related to each area of development through photos and descriptions (shared through the app). We are quite contented with the quality of care our daughter has been provided with.

A very good nursery. My little girl is so happy. The staff are very friendly and professional. My daughter has been going to Bright Horizons for 5 months now and she loves it. I’m happy with the feedback that I get when I pick her up as I’m well informed about my child’s activity and her progress. I love the fact that she’s learning and gaining new skills. She’s always talking about the staff especially her key person and her friends.

The staff at the nursery are incredibly kind and friendly, you can tell how much our son loves nursery and enjoys being with the staff and other children just by how happy he is to see them when we drop him off in the morning, always reaches out for them to hold him. My wife and I would 100% recommend them to friends.

Our daughter has been very happy at Bright Horizons, ever since her first day. The staff are all outstanding. We enjoy reading about what she gets up to during the day and appreciate the art, etc that she brings home with her.

My daughter is very happy attending this nursery and I have no complaints. The staff are all friendly and caring. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in their care and confident she's being well looked after. There's a good range of activities that the children get involved in and my daughter has definitely learned lots and gained in social skills and confidence since attending.

the staff has remained the same throughout both my children attending, which says a lot about staff retention, and despite the Covid closure, the team has adjusted really well and maintained a good environment for the children without having any teething issues. Easily recommend this nursery. Well done to the team.

My daughter has mild to moderate hearing loss, and the nursery has liaised well with my daughter's support workers and myself to make sure she has the best experience at the nursery. She was behind on verbal development, but the nursery has helped her develop so well. She absolutely loves nursery. When I tell her she is going to go to nursery in the morning, she gets overwhelmed with excitement and joy. Bright Horizons Elizabeth Terrace is the place to leave your child in great hands. The staff are amazing, and so, so friendly! We love the nursery. Will be gutted when she has to leave to start primary school. 100% recommend!

We moved our daughter here from another nursery and were blown away by the difference. She settled immediately. The staff were fantastic about her dairy allergy, and provide a fun, safe and educationally challenging environment with her, where she does everything from yoga to sing and sign. She has made lots of friends and enthusiastically talks about her keyworkers all the time. We love that there are also male workers, which is important. The menu is fantastic and varied. We really enjoyed the digital update book and seeing videos, pics and how she sits in the developmental charts. We love it so much, we have just enrolled her little brother to start and have recommended it to lots of friends.

Elizabeth Terrace has been such a great decision for us and our little girl. Since starting in lockdown, she has excelled in all areas of development. She has made special bonds with the other children in the baby room. She has always run through that front door every morning with a big smile on her face, even greeting the staff with hugs. I could not feel happier knowing she is being so well looked after.

Wonderfully caring staff and a great atmosphere. My eldest left as a really confident and content child and my youngest loves the freedom to explore and play whilst also learning. His speech, toilet training etc have all come along great. Really pleased with my youngest’ progress.

My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Elizabeth Terrace nursery. Since starting in the baby room, through to the preschool room, he has been happy and excited to go to nursery every day.

The staff have all been excellent, and my son loves them dearly. I'm constantly amazed by how much he learns each week, and am very confident he is well prepared to start school next year. I also appreciated the support the staff gave my son when we were expecting his little sister. It was so helpful to have the additional support and stability for him during that big family transition.

My son has also made some wonderful friends at nursery, and the other parents are all friendly. All in all, it's a great community to be a part of.

The outdoor area may seem smaller than some other nurseries, but they make great use of it and my son often talks about garden time at home.

I have also been totally confident in the Covid measures the nursery has taken to protect staff, children and families.

I am pleased with how the staff have supported in my son's development and we have seen a dramatic improvement with his behaviour and interactions with other children in/out of the nursery.

He loves his teachers and friends and has a happy face whenever the end of the day comes.

I am very pleased with the nursery. My son settled in quickly and now loves his time there. He has clearly established a bond with his keyworker and other staff. The staff are flexible with his needs such as his diet and I feel comfortable and happy with him in their care. I believe he has developed more quickly, for example, his mobility in attending the nursery.

We are so pleased we moved our daughter to this nursery. She was only just one year old when she started and she settled in so quickly. This is all down to the wonderful staff, they are friendly, caring and provide lovely detailed feedback about my daughter each day. Both her keyworker and secondary worker are fantastic and I feel extremely confident leaving my daughter in their care. I know my daughter has a lot of fun each day and is learning a great deal. I would fully recommend this nurturing nursery.

The staff at Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery have been amazing. Such kind and caring members of staff who have made my daughter feel happy and settled at all times. My daughter started in the baby room and is now in the nursery room, she has learnt so much and made new friends. 100% happy with the care my baby receives, cannot thank the staff enough.

My son has been at this nursery since he was nine months old, now he is getting ready to go to school. I couldn't be happier with the level of care he has received over the years. He has developed amazingly with the support of the staff.
