Bright Horizons Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool is conveniently situated on Elizabeth Terrace, just behind Eltham High Street within five minutes' walking distance of Eltham train station and all bus routes.

The passionate and dedicated team work together to provide a joyful, stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment, where children can play and explore, becoming confident and capable learners.

There are three light and welcoming rooms with a free-flow policy, which allows children to choose their own activities and follow their interests. Each room is plentifully equipped with age-appropriate resources and wooden furniture. Interactive whiteboards and touchscreen computers help children grow in confidence with IT as they learn about the world around them. The nurseries stunning garden offers plenty of opportunities for exploration and play. There is a sandpit and a planting area where children can grow flowers, fruit and vegetables.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies and wipes included. The kitchen holds a 5* EHO rating for food safety and hygiene.

the staff has remained the same throughout both my children attending, which says a lot about staff retention, and despite the Covid closure, the team has adjusted really well and maintained a good environment for the children without having any teething issues. Easily recommend this nursery. Well done

My daughter has mild to moderate hearing loss, and the nursery has liaised well with my daughter's support workers and myself to make sure she has the best experience at the nursery. She was behind on verbal development, but the nursery has helped her develop so well. She absolutely loves nursery. When
I tell her she is going to go to nursery in the morning, she gets overwhelmed with excitement and joy. Bright Horizons Elizabeth Terrace is the place to leave your child in great hands. The staff are amazing, and so, so friendly! We love the nursery. Will be gutted when she has to leave to start primary school. 100% recommend!

We moved our daughter here from another nursery and were blown away by the difference. She settled immediately. The staff were fantastic about her dairy allergy, and provide a fun, safe and educationally challenging environment with her, where she does everything from yoga to sing and sign. She has
made lots of friends and enthusiastically talks about her keyworkers all the time. We love that there are also male workers, which is important. The menu is fantastic and varied. We really enjoyed the digital update book and seeing videos, pics and how she sits in the developmental charts. We love it so much, we have just enrolled her little brother to start and have recommended it to lots of friends.

Elizabeth Terrace has been such a great decision for us and our little girl. Since starting in lockdown, she has excelled in all areas of development. She has made special bonds with the other children in the baby room. She has always run through that front door every morning with a big smile on her
face, even greeting the staff with hugs. I could not feel happier knowing she is being so well looked after.

Wonderfully caring staff and a great atmosphere. My eldest left as a really confident and content child and my youngest loves the freedom to explore and play whilst also learning. His speech, toilet training etc have all come along great. Really pleased with my youngest’ progress.

My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Elizabeth Terrace nursery. Since starting in the baby room, through to the preschool room, he has been happy and excited to go to nursery every day.


The staff have all been excellent, and my son loves them dearly. I'm constantly amazed by how much he learns

each week, and am very confident he is well prepared to start school next year. I also appreciated the support the staff gave my son when we were expecting his little sister. It was so helpful to have the additional support and stability for him during that big family transition.


My son has also made some wonderful friends at nursery, and the other parents are all friendly. All in all, it's a great community to be a part of.


The outdoor area may seem smaller than some other nurseries, but they make great use of it and my son often talks about garden time at home.


I have also been totally confident in the Covid measures the nursery has taken to protect staff, children and families.

I am very pleased with the nursery. My son settled in quickly and now loves his time there. He has clearly established a bond with his keyworker and other staff. The staff are flexible with his needs such as his diet and I feel comfortable and happy with him in their care. I believe he has developed

We are so pleased we moved our daughter to this nursery. She was only just one year old when she started and she settled in so quickly. This is all down to the wonderful staff, they are friendly, caring and provide lovely detailed feedback about my daughter each day. Both her keyworker and secondary
worker are fantastic and I feel extremely confident leaving my daughter in their care. I know my daughter has a lot of fun each day and is learning a great deal. I would fully recommend this nurturing nursery.

The staff at Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery have been amazing. Such kind and caring members of staff who have made my daughter feel happy and settled at all times. My daughter started in the baby room and is now in the nursery room, she has learnt so much and made new friends. 100% happy with the care

My 3-year-old son has been attending Elizabeth Terrace for over a year and loves it, the staff are all extremely friendly, helpful and it shows they all care very much about the children and their jobs. Our son is in Elizabeth Terrace since June 2018, first in nursery and now moved to pre-school group. We are very happy with this nursery. He is happy here, loves to go and really enjoys it. We've noticed a huge improvement when he started, both with speech and general behaviour.

My children really enjoyed their times at Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool.
During their time here, they have developed many essentials skills, like languages, communication, social and cognitive etc. My older son is at school now and he still likes to sit and play in his brother's "pre-school"
room when we came to pick him up. The environment is so welcoming and warm. I'm sure my younger son will miss it when he goes to school too.

Hello, my name is Chloe and I started working at Bright Horizons in 2016.


Whilst undertaking my degree in Education and Early years I always knew I wanted to work with Preschool aged children. I started as the lead in preschool and then went on to become the third in charge and then Deputy in 2019, and lastly, Nursery Manager in 2021. I thrive on ensuring quality is present within all rooms, allowing children to have a stimulating environment which is fun and exciting for them throughout the day. I have a strong belief in team appreciation and further developing the team with training and knowledge. I am excited to start this journey at Elizabeth Terrace and look forward to implementing new ideas, which will enhance learning experiences for all children.

Josie is our Deputy Manager and enjoys working with children. In her work within her early years, she finds genuine enjoyment and possesses a strong passion for the SENCO and Diversity aspects.


Her commitment lies in ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all children, regardless of their backgrounds or needs. Maintaining open communication with families is a priority for her, and she prides herself on being approachable. Understanding the challenges parents face, she endeavours to assist in settling not just the children but also the parents.
