Bright Horizons Hyde Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for nearly 4 months now and we could not be happier with the level of care and support that she receives. Everyone is so friendly and the staff are so supportive in ensuring that our daughter has everything she needs in order to grow up in a fun a friendly environment. I cannot recommend Bright Horizons enough and in particular, the lady that runs it is a saint in disguise. Thank you to everyone that works there for making our daughter so welcome and for giving her so much love and support.

Our son has attended the nursery for the last six months and we are very happy with the quality of service and the level of care offered by the manager and her whole team. There are a lot of different activities for young babies, there is a high ratio of Care person per child. Our baby son is very happy over there and always smile and is in good mood before and after a day at the nursery, we can feel he enjoys his stay over there. The Team and the different caregivers are very focused on ensuring the children are happy and well taken care of, and a great manager for the place who also loves spending time with the little ones. The team is flexible and if we have a last minute arrangement or change of plans, they always manage to accommodate. Our son has done tremendous progress in the last six months and this has helped him to play with other babies and socialize, and also focus more on specific activity than before. We are overall very happy with Bright Horizons Hyde Park.

My child really enjoyed her time in the nursery. The great thing about Hyd Park Nursery is that the food is really healthy and freshly cooked for them every day. The staff are really friendly and caring towards children and there are great range of educational and fun activities for children to fulfill their day.

My son was around 10 months when he started and he has been very happy there from day 1. The manager has been amazing, always willing to help and accommodate us. I definitely recommend this nursery.

I visited a few nurseries before choosing Bright Horizons Hyde Park as it was the only nursery which was so well organized and detailed in its approach to looking after children. I also felt the nursery was appropriately set up for children in maintaining a tidy and clean environment. The manager is great - firm with staff and friendly with babies.

I’m extremely happy with the quality of care my daughter gets at Bright Horizons Hyde Park - all of the staff know her well as an individual, take her development seriously and care about her wellbeing. I love hearing about the news skills she picks up - there is an enormous range of activities that I would never be able to replicate at home and we also enjoy the chance she gets to participate in occasions such as World Book Day and celebrating holidays from all different cultures. The manager is an excellent leader and is continually thinking of ways to make the nursery even better - she’s also kind, full of experience and thinks about parents as well as the children. Food is excellent and although the outside space doesn’t include much greenery (no surprise in central London) they are so close to Hyde Park and go regularly enough for trips I don’t think it really matters.

My baby is happy there. And I feel safe and relieved that she attends this nursery. Staff take excellent care of her and she’s started to develop, learn new things and show character.

My 8-month-old son just completed his first month at this nursery and I couldn't be more pleased. We were initially nervous about sending our young baby to nursery full time, but from the moment he started his settling in, we knew it was the right choice. The staff are caring, friendly, and know all the babies and children, so it really feels like a family. The managerial team is excellent, attentive, and very involved in the children's activities. The staff take excellent care of the babies, and my son is happy from the moment he is dropped off to when he comes home. The convenience of having nappies and formula provided is much appreciated. It would be great if the babies did group activities like reading and singing with the older children, but they get plenty of exposure when they play together outdoors. Regardless, Bright Horizons Hyde Park met all of our needs and was the perfect transition for our young child to nursery, and I would highly recommend this nursery to any family.

We only recently starting sending our daughter to Bright Horizons Hyde Park but have already seen her benefit from the interaction with other children and learning activities. We have been impressed by how quickly the staff get to know the children and tailor the care to them. Initially, we were a bit apprehensive about sending our daughter to nursery but now feel extremely happy she is there.

I'm very satisfied with Bright Horizons Nursery, the staff are professional and ensure that all children are safe and enjoying. My son is happy here and this is the most important thing.

It's a really nice place for our kids. First day, staff welcome us and it's so nice to join. Everything clean and wonderful, I like it. I feel my daughter is happy there.

Good settling in for the baby. But not enough permanent staff. Overall good. However, cleanliness of toys need to be improved. The existing staff are great.

My son is 5 months old and going to the baby section. There are only a maximum of 9 babies and the room is newly refurbished with windows (not usual in central London). The team is nice and professional and you can see they really enjoy their job and know all the kids well. The food is done onsite and the milk and nappies are provided, which is convenient.

They regularly take two kids to the park which is great! I felt confident immediately when leaving my son there. They give you a daily report of what he has done - I am very happy to live so close to this great nursery!

This nursery has proven to be excellent in all areas - most importantly in the care and attention my daughter (10 months) has received. She clearly enjoys her day and loves the staff - smiling when I drop her off and when I pick her up. Highly recommended!

We fell in love with this nursery as soon as we step inside. When we saw the smile on the other kids in there. Our son is in the nursery since he was 5 months old, they do know how to play with him, feed him, sing for him. He's always clean, smiling and well rested when we pick him up (our son is full time there, 5 days a week). Every day, we exactly know what happened during the day (food, sleep, activities). When the weather is nice they always go outside or even picnic. Every member is amazing, our son smiles at everybody there. For us the most important thing is that he will learn English, eat well and learn many things.

Our son, aged 2.5 has just completed his first month at the Hyde Park Bright Horizons Nursery, attending 3 days a week. He has really enjoy it so far and we can see big improvements in his speech and vocabulary. The staff are all extremely enthusiastic and my son loves his trips to the Hyde Park playgrounds. We would highly recommend this facility.

The standard of care and education my daughter receives from Hyde Park Nursery is fantastic. She genuinely loves her carers and after being away on holiday will run into their arms for a hug. Having left her at this nursery since she was 10 months old (she is now 3) means it is a great comfort that she is receiving love and educational support whilst I am working. I have recommended this nursery to many friends who have all had equally positive experiences.

Both my children have attended Hyde Park Nursery and they have both enjoyed time with friends. The staff works hard and makes an effort to get to know parents and children. However, there appears to be under staffing issues as on many occasions I have found my little ones and others with their noses very crusty and them not being wiped. I can understand they are very busy and have a lot of responsibilities. Additionally, I would hope nap time conditions for toddlers would improve. It's loud and they sleep on the floor (on very thin mattresses) breathing in very polluted air as it's in the basement. Sweeping and cleaning is also done during this time. I love the girls and I understand resource limitations, however it makes it hard for working parents not to take time off every week when kids getting ill.

Hyde Park Nursery is very good and this is due to the quality and dedication of the staff. I have never been nervous about leaving my daughter she is always eager to go. The staff always put the children's well-being first. The only downside is the facilities- it would be better if the toddler and pre-school rooms would be at ground level with windows rather than a basement. Regardless I would not consider changing nursery.
