Bright Horizons Hyde Park Day Nursery and Preschool

My son has been at Bright Horizons since he was 8 months old, he's now 3 years and 7 months, and the level of care and attention he has received from day one has been outstanding. Now in the Preschool room, he is thriving in a structured and nurturing environment where he's developing across all areas: language, maths, and early writing, as well as emotional intelligence and self-regulation.

I am very, very happy with Bright Horizons Hyde Park Nursery!

My child has attended this nursery for two years and has received the most amazing care. He loves going to school and seeing his teachers and friends. The school takes the kids to the park, exposes them to different sports during their play time, gives the kids French and Spanish lessons each week, do yoga classes each week, give different reading books for home reading each week and get to use the larger outside area of the primary school next door during school term breaks. The nursery has outstanding staff who have worked there for a long time across the baby, toddler and pre school rooms, with staff often looking after siblings as they come through the nursery and get to know families very well.

I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old at Bright Horizons Hyde Park, they both absolutely love it. Everyone is so kind, on top of everything and I feel like my kids are safe and well-taken care of there. I recommend it!

And more importantly my daughter loves going there, every morning she asks if she is going to nursery today and has a huge smile if I say yes, then rushes to get ready with her bag

Cannot recommend them highly enough and just feels great to be able to leave him with people who you genuinely trust.

Great staff and facilities in the baby room and loads of fun activities during the day. We are really happy with the nursery. Our baby settled in quickly and is clearly happy with the nursery and all the staff.

My daughter has been going here since March 2022 and we have had a great experience, especially since September 2023. The nursery does an excellent job in understanding the kids, and their interests and putting together really engaging activities. There would be a theme every week like solar systems, caterpillars, community helpers, etc. and the kids do a whole range of activities learning about them. Also, the staff is from diverse backgrounds so my daughter gets to speak our native language in the nursery. The carers have a very good connection with the kids e.g., my daughter refused to be potty-trained at home so the nursery carers took the lead and potty-trained her. Owing to the city centre location, the open area isn't huge so the nursery takes them out to the park on occasion.

My daughter has attended this nursery since December 2022 and her development has progressed so much in that time. The staff are all brilliant and her key worker in particular shows such an interest in her development and focusses on her particular interests. She loves going to nursery and has made lots of friends now. Overall, we are really very happy with the nursery.

My daughter attended this nursery when she was 9 months, she is progressing very well at the nursery now in preschool. She is learning a lot and is very happy there the staff support her very well. She likes going to nursery to see her friends. The nursery does lots of events for the children and parents to be involved. I’m very happy with everything.

My daughter attended this nursery. First in the toddler room, and then at the pre-school. I cannot overstate how happy I am with the nursery and the lead manager, in particular. She and other teachers, one in particular, did an outstanding job in taking care of my daughter and guiding her through critical points in her life. It always felt safe to leave my daughter at the nursery and there were no negative incidents during the years that she was there. The way that they encouraged her to learn how to spell (her name) and paint ever so often was heartwarming. For as long as the manager remains at the helm, I will recommend this school to any parent, without hesitation.

Can't say enough about this great nursery and its lovely people, from the manager to the teachers! We will be forever grateful for the love and care they gave our daughter! Only left because we moved abroad and if we could, we would have taken them with us!

I highly recommend the daycare!

My daughter attended Bright Horizons Hyde Park from Nov 20 - May 21 in the Baby Room and then May 21 - Sep 21 in the Toddler room. She attended 5 full days a week. The only reason she is no longer there is due to us relocating back to Australia. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. The staff were kind, caring and it was obvious by the way my daughter happily went off to Nursery every day that she was happy and comfortable in the environment. As a parent, I always felt well informed and up to date with how she was going.

Bright Horizons Hyde Park is a wonderful nursery! Our daughter started after being at home for 7 months during the pandemic. She was not used to being with other children and was a little nervous to leave me, however after only a couple of days of settling in, she felt at home. She made great friends very quickly and I saw her develop (alphabet, numbers, drawing) only a short while after starting there. The nursery manager is outstanding and her team of staff work wonders. Highly recommend!

The only negative is that my son seems to get upset when I pick him up as he doesn’t want to leave!

Our son has been attending the nursery for nearly 5 months and we could not be happier with the level of care he receives. We had a number of settling in sessions which helped both of us (mainly me!) feel happy that we had chosen the right nursery for our family. All his needs are met - lots of interaction, stimulating activities and plenty of space to crawl around and explore in the baby room and also, importantly for us he is safe. He adores his key worker and the manager of the nursery who both give him such wonderful care and attention that he doesn't look back when we drop him off. The team at the nursery are just amazing and I could not praise them enough for supporting us through all the milestones that come with having a baby.

I sent my first daughter to Bright Horizons and she was very happy. So I have now sent my second daughter and she also loves it. It has gone from strength to strength and I believe the nursery manager has played a huge part in this. The staff and nursery teachers are all so lovely and my daughter is so fond of the teachers that she talks about them all most evenings. So many of the faces are the same as when my first daughter went there, which I always think is a great indication of morale and teamwork. At all times the management and staff are so helpful and accommodating. The meals are excellent and food is very important to my daughter, when I hear about the meals they have, I am most impressed with the variety and high standards. They have introduced some lovely new schemes, like loaning books out every week. These books are an excellent idea and have made our family story-time even better. It is a really great nursery and I am very happy that I sent my daughter there.
