Overall very pleased with our experience. The people taking care of our daughter are great. Only two negative feedback. A dedicated space for naps should be created; I cannot imagine my daughter having a proper nap if it is too bright and noisy. Giving options for the afternoon snacks doesn't seem balanced. Fruits should be privileged.
We are very satisfied with the nursery. Our son is very happy when he stays there. Very nice food, he always eats very well.
Thank you so much for everything!
Overall we’ve had a very positive experience with Bright Horizons. The staff are caring and attentive and have made the tough transition to nursery, as smooth as possible. Our baby seems to be given the attention he needs, does a range of activities and he’s happy when we pick him up. Areas for improvement - more outside time would be ideal, more variety on food, more accurate reporting on the app (all naps/meals are reported, just with inaccurate timings and quantities) and more engagement with the parents on the child’s progress (this always has to be requested and is often just a quick conversation at the door).
The nursery provision is excellent, the staff are caring, supportive and approachable with developmental activities and curriculum work is clear throughout the phase. The toddler room is also of a very high standard and really supports the children to transition from babies to independent young learners. The staff show in-depth knowledge to the children and provide clear and helpful feedback. The pre-school provision is satisfactory but suffers from having to support such a broad range of abilities. More could be done to push the older children and communication with home could be better.
Thank you for taking the time to review the nursery. I will ensure your feedback is taken back to the Nursery setting to look at and I will ask the Manager to reach out to you and look in further detail at our Preschool offering.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, they are always happy to answer any questions. I really like the family APP we wish the nursery showed pictures more often.
Very satisfied with the nursery and would recommend it to anyone. The staff are very caring and really make an effort with my daughter. There is always a range of activities and different themes each month so that is constantly exciting for my daughter. She loves it.
Overall very happy with the service. This was a challenging year but our child seems to like the nursery and it seems she has fun on a daily basis.
We are having a great experience with Bright Horizons and this has been particularly important during the pandemic. Our child feels happy and safe, the staff are caring and supportive. The recent introduction of the Bright Horizons apps has also been great so we can have a better idea of the activities that the kids do during the day.
This is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has been attending since she was a year old and her speech and confidence has grown. She has made a lot of friends and has a good relationship with the teacher. They learn something new every day. Some outdoor activities in the garden are perfect.
We love this nursery! The staff always greet my baby with a huge welcome and show enthusiasm and kindness, which makes him and me feel at ease. The app has been great, and I like to see his nappy change, sleep and food etc. I feel like he is in good hands. I would like to hear what he has done each day and see photos. He has developed a lot in the four months he has been there, and I feel the nursery has taught him a lot. We are very happy overall.
We are very happy with Bright Horizons. Our son has attended for the last two years and enjoys his time there. The teachers are friendly and caring, and they seem to engage the kids in a wide range of fun and educational activities. Our son has made lots of friends at nursery and often talks about the things he has done, which is lovely to hear.
Could not be happier with this nursery and will recommend to anyone who will listen! Our boy started at 10.5 months old and although he has one key worker, who he has a close bond with, he knows and likes everyone who cares for him. This makes our lives, as full-time working parents, much easier to know he is happy, safe and well cared for.
All of the teachers are fantastic, and my little girl loves every minute of being at the nursery. They have a good balance of activities and curriculum, encourage the children to be independent without making them feel isolated, and always keep them well fed. My daughter has learned things I don't think I would have been good at teaching her and has a social outlet. Couldn't be happier.
We toured this nursery while pregnant and were very happy with cleanliness and emphasis on key educational skills. But I had to phone on/off for weeks trying to lock in a start date for our son, but was given noncommittal answers. When we finally agreed to it, I had the misfortune of arriving the day they had a covid outbreak. The manager greeted me w/ her mask well below her nose (not v reassuring!) to turn us away.
Their staggered induction over two weeks was inconvenient and very stressful to deal with in tandem with going back to work (no clear plan, was told day by day what hours to bring him in). Worse, my veggie son was regularly just given "sweetcorn with pasta" (based on the daily scribbled piece of paper). When I pushed for the inclusion of nutritious eggs/beans/tofu/legumes I was told "we don't do that". Even when I handed in notice explaining why they didn't try to improve to retain us.
Our son is now at another nursery and he seems so much happier and sleeps three times as long there.
Your comments will be fed back the Nursery team and Senior Management team.

Our child loves going to this nursery and barely looks up when we leave him. He quite often isn’t that happy to leave at the end of the day either! This is a testament to the fun he has there with his friends and carers. He regularly talks warmly about the carers as being his friends and they take a real interest in the children as individuals and their needs/particular development stages. There is great consistency in the people who work at the nursery and he seems to thrive in the familiar surroundings. He also comes out with lots at home that he has learnt there.
If I could change one thing it would be to develop the garden area more to make it more stimulating and to have more of a natural environment out there.
Delighted to have a place though and happy for the team on a well deserved Outstanding rating.
I’m very happy with the care my daughter is receiving at the nursery. English is not her first language and the teachers have provided her with very personal care. The nursery is spacious and clean and their food is excellent. My daughter loves going and is always has a smile when I pick her up in the afternoon.
The physical environment at Bright Horizons is great - spacious, light and really clean. There is a decent-sized garden with lots of play opportunities, and the staff often just open the doors so the toddlers can play in or outside as they like, which offers them great freedom. My child is currently in the toddler room, and the staff are very fun and caring, looking for lots of learning opportunities.
I am extremely pleased with our choice of nursery. My son is very happy and always has fun. All the staff are very caring. I feel that my son receives very personal care which supports his development.
All the staff is really warm and welcoming. The girls in charge of toddlers are really patient, smiley with our older son. He is really happy to go to the nursery 4 days per week. The girls are really sweet and gentle with my 1 year old daughter.

Meet the Team (2)
Sarah began her journey with Bright Horizons North Finchley in 2009, working part-time as a lunch cover and supporting children of all ages across the nursery. It wasn’t long before she was promoted to a full-time Nursery Nurse in the 2–3’s room.
At the time, she had recently completed her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education and was eager to apply her newly acquired skills and knowledge in a real-world setting.
After a year and a half, she stepped into her first leadership role in the Rising 3’s room, where she led a team of three staff. From there, she progressed quickly, taking on the roles of Third in Charge and later Deputy Manager.
Over her 15 years at North Finchley, she also served as the SENCO, which allowed her to work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure every child received the best possible start in life.
In March 2025, she was proud to be promoted to Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Highbury. She looks forward to working in partnership with the children, families, and team to support each child's development and to begin this exciting new chapter together.
Humairaa is the Deputy Manager of Bright Horizons Highbury.
She joined Bright Horizons in 2018 as a nursery nurse and gradually worked her way up. In 2021, she was promoted to Deputy Manager, allowing her to support and lead the team at Highbury.
She holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Early Years - Education & Leadership in Practice (L6). Her career in early years education began in 2011, and she now has over 10 years of experience working in various settings.
Passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment, she ensures that all children have the opportunity to thrive and learn through play. She enjoys developing new skills to support both staff and children in reaching their full potential.
With a high-spirited and enthusiastic approach, she brings energy and positivity to both the children and the team. She finds it incredibly rewarding to make a positive impact and build strong partnerships with parents.
