Acorn Day Nursery (New Bradwell)

Our little one has loved his experience at nursery so far. Classes aren’t big so kids get all the attention, plus it’s free-flow, where inside and outside play is encouraged. The staff are very welcoming and patient with him. We can see growth and learning every day.

My son attends this nursery, after his sister went there a couple of years before. It's still fantastic - the staff, the facilities and everything are great. The manager is an amazing manager and she creates a great sense of fun and comfort about the place which I know has been ideal for my son. He hadn't really met any other kids during lockdown and when he started nursery it was quite a change for him. He settled in so quickly, and we are so happy about the range of experiences he's getting there. My daughter was there from 2015-2018, my son started in summer 2021 and I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

My eldest little boy has been going to this Nursery since January 2020 and he absolutely loves it there! My youngest also now attends and loves it too. I can’t imagine them going anywhere else, the team are amazing.

Love this nursery! My eldest went here and was well looked after and now my 2-year-old attends too and has only been going for a few weeks and has settled in so quickly! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and kind they look after the children so well, they are all so caring and make sure my child feels welcomed. There are so many different activities for the younger ones and older ones to do if they want to play outside they can when they please. There is so much to keep them entertained it’s great! I really would recommend this nursery. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my son with these lovely ladies too.

Acorn New Bradwell has done an absolutely fantastic job of settling in our son. We have just relocated from up north and all staff, particularly his key worker, have made him feel happy, safe, comfortable, and at home in his new surroundings. He loves going to nursery now. This nursery has been nothing short of fantastic in the short time my daughter has been attending. All staff have made it easy for me to feel confident in leaving my child within their care they took amazing precautions during the pandemic and keep you updated all through the sessions with updates on the app about your child so you can see the progress they are making which is a lovely touch and reassuring to anxious parents. Thank you all of you.

We have our child here and he is very happy, he is very happy going to nursery, playing with his friends and we like when he is very happy and loves to go to nursery. The personnel are nice, they treat the children with care.

My daughter has been attending for over 2 years and I’m extremely happy with the nursery. My daughter is always so happy to go to nursery and I get lots of updates with what she is up to. Especially when they go to forest school which looks so fun! All of the staff are super friendly and my daughter comes home talking about them all and how lovely they all are. My daughter has also met lots of lovely friends there and the setting is so lovely and stimulating. They have always been very flexible with the extra sessions that fit around my exams and I cannot thank them enough for this. During the school holidays, my other daughter also attends holiday club which is equally fantastic, and always comes home with great things she has made. I feel very satisfied with the level of care and kindness the staff kind and I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

The staff at Acorn have made me very comfortable and reassured that my babies are in safe hands. The staff know them very well and frequently feedback via the app with photos, videos and observations. The girls have come on leaps and bounds since being at nursery and I think the mixed age group approach is benefiting them massively. I like the outdoorsy style of Acorn as I think it’s so important for them to get stimulation from nature and the fresh air. I know I made the best decision by sending my girls here.

The minute I stepped in to view New Bradwell I immediately felt that the environment was so calm and relaxed and it really showed through how happy all the children were there. My son is only into his 5th week there and he already absolutely loves going. They have made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Every single staff member has a smile on their face, they always look very happy to be around the children. The way they talk to my son is so lovely and the fact he wants to go to any of them for a cuddle says it all. They are all so caring and are always happy to have a little chat with me which really brightens up my day! I really can’t fault any of them at all. They take such fab photos of my son that really reassure me! I can absolutely see why this nursery was so highly recommended to me. They are honestly amazing.

A fantastic nursery which I would highly recommend to anyone. The staff are all caring towards the children and so helpful when dealing with any concerns raised in regards to our child’s progress. Can’t fault them from the management to the admin staff. They offer great facilities and activities for the children, including forest school.

Acorns at New Bradwell are amazing in everything they do. From the care they provide, constantly improving the setting, activities, the teaching, the care and love, support for parents to the healthy and interesting food choices. Both my children have been looked after here. My youngest has additional needs and they have included him with every activity, making adjustments where possible. They have played a huge part in giving him the best start in his education. They’re awesome.

My son loves going to this nursery an adores the staff there too. From day one they have made his time a great experience for him. So much so that some days he doesn't want to come home. The staff are really friendly and have created a really nurturing environment for the children. There are lots of variety for them with the activities they do and the layout is really open and has a great flow from the inside areas to outside. It really provides them with the freedom they need to express themselves as well as learn and develop. I would really recommend this nursery to anyone considering it.

The open plan layout really encourages the smaller children to interact with the older children (and vice versa) which is an excellent development feature of this nursery. Staff are fantastic and very understanding of personal issues.

The nursery is managed well by a calm and positive individual who puts the children at the heart of everything that they do. Creative play is predominant and children are encouraged to be independent. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who considers a child's welfare and personal development to be fundamental.

I have two daughters who use Acorn Childcare. My eldest daughter has attended Acorn since nine months old and is now 7. I am extremely happy with the childcare she receives and it's always been available for her at all stages of development. The range of activities and trips are excellent. The staff are always happy and pleased to see the children and vice-versa. The staff know the children's personal needs and likes and dislikes really well and always try to include things they show an interest in and always go the extra mile. I am 100% assured my girls are happy and safe here.

I feel that the nursery is very helpful when it comes to the child's needs as well as the parent(s). My son was on and off when he first started in the nursery but a lot of patience and activities they have it helped him build confidence and social skills.

Can't recommend it highly enough! I'm so glad we found this nursery.
