They offer flexible hours to accommodate your childcare needs in a warm and friendly setting. They promote 'learning through play' and have well-equipped rooms to offer variety and fun for all their children, under the guidance of a caring, well-qualified team of educators.

The nursery makes a massive contribution to families in the surrounding Handsworth community, being registered with Ofsted to offer provision for up to 113 admissions while working closely with nearby schools and related services.

My little girl has been going to Highgate Day Nursery since just before she turned one. She is now almost 4 and she absolutely loves going. All the girls are absolutely fantastic with her. Couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

My son currently attends Highgate Day Nursery Handsworth in the baby room. The girls in the room are absolutely fantastic and very informative. They also make me feel very at ease when dropping my son off when he gets upset. The management is also brilliant and keeps you up to date with stuff happening
in the nursery.
Would 100% recommend Highgate to anyone.

My child has been going to Highgate for a few months now and he has come on massively in his development. He’s currently in the baby room and as a first time mom I was so nervous about leaving him but he loves it and the staff are so lovely. I get to see what he does during his day at nursery via the
app which is comforting.

This is a fantastic place to help your children become happy and independent. The staff are great and very eager to help you as much as they can. Great experience for my son. He's ready for school with all the tools in place for his school life to begin.

My son has been in the baby room, toddler room and is now going to start in rising 3s.
Since he started as a baby he has loved going to nursery and has been so happy there.
The staff are really friendly, helpful and professional! The quality of care is excellent and I feel all my child’s individual
needs are met.
My son has shown great progress in his learning and development and this is recorded and shared with parents via an app. I really enjoy the photos and observations that are shared!
I highly recommend Highgate nursery!

My little boy started in the baby room in June and has settled in really well! The staff have been really accommodating and communicative, using the app to provide pictures and updates which is a great feature. I can see he has come on leaps and bounds since he started which is amazing and he always
comes home in a great mood and looking like he's had a wonderful time there!

My son has just graduated from Highgate in the preschool class. He attended there for over 4 years so this was very emotional for both of us. He started there at 5 and a half months - a very tiny baby who couldn't even sit up. It has been wonderful to see how the nursery has helped him to flourish into
the smart, confident, sociable and rather feisty young man he is now - who is more than ready for school in September (they won't know what's hit them!). The staff have been so caring and encouraging with him. He has asthma and eczema and it has never been too much trouble for them to give special care and attention to these needs. They have also been very flexible in terms of accommodating sessions for him such as extra time in school holidays and fitting in with my working pattern. He's made so many friends there and had a wealth of valuable experiences that I am sure he will remember as he grows up. Thank you to all the staff who have played a part in his care and education over the years.

Really lovely staff, my child really enjoyed going and on days she was a bit upset and didn’t want to leave me they were really accommodating and helped her come into nursery.
Took excellent care of my child and helped her socialise with others.

My son has attended for 3 years. The nursery staff are lovely and they have made a massive impact on his development and social skills. He's leaving for primary school soon but the nursery has equipped him with the life skills he needs to progress. They have always been professional and had his development

Our little boy started in the toddler room a few months ago and is loving his time there, he gets so excited to go and runs in without looking back!
His speech has improved since going as has his confidence.
We love hearing about his day at pick up and the updates through the app are great.
The
staff in his room are super friendly and have made him very welcome.
Management are very helpful and respond to our email enquiries extremely quickly.

A lovely nursery with amazing staff. Cannot praise these girls enough. The care they provide is second to none. It really does say something when your lockdown baby who didn't see many family members or friends for the best part of a year feels so comfortable with these girls within the first month
of starting. She absolutely loves nursery and the girls in the baby room.

The staff are always caring for the kids and the nursery always organises some fun activities for kids to participate in so they will not be bored and kids are active most of the time. I like the ideas that the nursery has some pets for kids to interact with.

My daughter always comes back home with a smile on her face, she attended another Nursery before Highgate and was always in tears, but the gentle caring nature of all the staff at Highgate nursery made her a happy little girl. Thanks, Highgate Day Nursery staff you all are truly amazing.

Our son started at Highgate Day Nursery in December. He’s loved it since the beginning. He’s always telling us about exciting things that he does and the new friends he’s made. He seems to be developing very well within the room he’s in and loves the staff. He also loves the food and has expressed an
interest in trying lots of new things at home since starting, which is great. We’re very happy with the nursery and the staff. We get good information about what he’s been up to and how he’s been throughout the day. On a management level, the staff are really good too, fast to respond to emails and questions and always invoice accurately and on time. We’re really happy with the nursery and our son is too, which is the most important thing.

Our little girl has been coming to Highgate since she was 11 months old and she loves it here! She has become a very confident, kind and polite little girl and I believe the good influence from nursery has helped. The staff are all lovely and very approachable. My 3 year old daughter goes to Highgate Day Nursery and she loves it. The staff are very kind and lovely. My daughter used to cry but the staff are so lovely that she got used to it and she is loving to go there now.

My daughter has been cared for by every room within the nursery and all the staff have always made her and me feel very welcome, nothing is ever too much. I have always felt at ease leaving my daughter with the staff at the nursery and she always comes home happy, having had a fun day.

Each day I drop off my grandson at nursery he's always greeted warmly, he's so excited to go to nursery and loves the teachers, he's at an age now where he talks really well and constantly comes home explaining what a fun day he's had.
His development and understanding have come on hugely, no way could
he have got this at home.
I can't praise all the staff enough for what an excellent start my grandson has had.
