Little Trees Celtic Springs is a modern, purpose-built nursery with plenty of indoor and outdoor space designed for playing, learning, eating, relaxing and sleeping.

At Little Trees Celtic Springs, they believe in the development of the whole child and recognise that each child is unique. Children are encouraged to develop and learn at their own pace, helping to foster happy, confident children.

The nursery curriculum provides the children with quality learning experiences, relevant to the child and rooted in play. They follow the curriculum of the Early Years Foundation Stage from the age of three. This provides promotes the 'early learning goals' identified by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. Children are taught and spoken to in English. Welsh words and phrases are also used throughout the nursery.

Little Trees Celtic Springs has the highest standards and in May 2016 was given the Welsh Government Healthy and Sustainable Pre-School Award for its nutritious meals and for its teachings on a healthy diet and the importance of physical activity.

Our little girl has been going to Little Trees Celtic Springs since she was 9 months old and absolutely loves it there and so do we. She has her quirks and challenges but the girls in every room she's been in have been incredible with her. The fun and friendly atmosphere they create in there from the
second you walk through the doors is lovely and the way they interact with the children and care for them is so nice to see - even giving them cuddles throughout the day.


We don't have family/relatives close by so the girls really are an extension of our family and are a massive support to us as parents which we are so thankful for. I honestly don't know how they do what they do so well when they have so much to do during the day and I don't think they realise how important their jobs are to us as parents which makes them even more special in our eyes.
We're so glad to have found Little Trees Celtic Springs and would just like to say a huge thank you to you all.

Food for afternoon sessions is terrible, cheese and crackers, a wrap. These children need proper meals as after 6pm to have a proper meal is not really ideal for either the children or the parents. The food is really poor for the price you charge for a basic snack!

The nursery are so great with my little girl. She absolutely loves going in, runs over to the breakfast table every morning and even on collection she wants to show me all the toys she's been playing with. We get a really detailed overview of what they have been doing through the day upon pick up and
often get updates on the app with photos which are so lush to see! It's so so reassuring knowing while I'm working, my daughter is in safe hands and the girls that look after her genuinely care about her wellbeing and development.

Couldn’t ask for more caring and kind workers to look after my son. He struggles with drop off and everyone there goes above and beyond to settle him in quickly. They always do a variety of lovely activities, sending my son back with a goody bag of arts and crafts. There’s plenty of outdoor space (perfect

Our son has always struggled with going to nursery as it’s only one day a week but when he moved from Explorers 1 to Explorers 2 and got his key worker things changed massively! She was a wonderful key worker for him and he loves her! She has made his experience in nursery a very positive one and the
nursery are lucky to have her! He is now in Explorers 3 and has been for a few sessions now and seems to enjoy it! Staff in Explorers 3 are building on the great foundation his keyworker has laid for him in regards to his experience. Thank you to all the staff and especially now in Explorers 3 for helping him transition into the new room successfully! It’s a lovely nursery and all of the staff are lovely, we love getting updates on the app so we can see what his day has been like ready for when he comes home. All of the staff at Little Trees Day Nursery Celtic Springs are great. My daughter absolutely loves coming each week and has grown in confidence since attending. The staff carry out regular observations and I am always updated with food she’s eaten and what activities she has taken part in during that

This is a fantastic nursery. They provide a safe and happy place for children to play and learn. Having moved my son from a different nursery I was worried about how he would settle but with the help of the staff he settled quickly. Our son started at Little Tree's Day nursery when he was 10 months old, to say we were nervous would be an understatement. Our son is now 2 years old and runs into nursery without hesitation. The staff at the nursery are so welcoming and made myself and partner feel at ease through the whole settling-in
process. Our first impression of the nursery was very positive - the nursery is open-plan and has such a homely feel to it.


The nursery uses an app - where we can access information on how our son has been throughout the day. The observations the staff complete on a weekly basis via the app are absolutely fantastic! It's so lovely to have regular updates through pictures and videos of our boy having so much fun. It makes going to work that little bit easier. The nursery also has an onsite cook who freshly prepares all the food, the food is always varied, and my son always eats absolutely everything!


Overall, we would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

The nursery is fantastic, all the girls are very welcoming, I'm so grateful to you for your patience, enthusiasm, and passion. I really appreciate the hard work that is put into looking after my daughter. I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the teachers who have contributed to my child's growth.
I feel that my daughter is in really safe hands, she's learnt so much and that's all thanks to the girls who work here. I can't remember all the girl's names but they are all so lovely and have made me feel at ease knowing my daughter is looked after and her key worker really makes a fuss of my daughter which she loves, lovely little bond they have got that's so nice to see.

All the staff at Little Trees are wonderful. My son loves his time at nursery and has grown in confidence whilst attending. Fantastic nursery and the staff have been amazing with both my children. My children have thrived in the nursery setting. They do so many different activities each day which are all age-appropriate and educational. It is hard handing your children over to be looked after by people you don't really know
but my children absolutely adore their nursery teachers. My eldest who is now in reception still regularly asks to go and see her teachers as she misses them.

Our daughter is currently at Little Trees, with our eldest having attended the nursery. The leadership team and caring staff at the nursery are excellent, understand the worries of parents and the needs of children, and they are always there to answer any queries and provide find depth feedback daily.
The nursery has a lovely atmosphere that nurtures the growth and development of the children. I have always felt comfortable and safe leaving my children in their care. I would recommend the nursery without reservation.

To put our first baby into a nursery was a scary and nerve wracking experience especially when we were not allowed to step foot into a nursery to have a look during lockdown but we trusted the videos and reviews, now I couldn’t be happier that we picked Little Trees Day Nursery Celtic Springs! I love
the family app to get updates throughout the day and all the staff are lovely but some individuals definitely stand out above others. I feel like they are always trying to improve and go above and beyond to be the best nursery in the area, which I truly believe they are. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

A corporate-owned nursery with a very corporate feel. Staff are inexperienced and do not always have the child’s best interest at heart. Activities are very limited and staff are not proactive what so ever. Very cold and impersonal feel to the place.

Teddies have been fantastic with our girls. My eldest has been attending the last 18 months and my youngest almost a year. They both look forward to nursery and have a great bond with the key workers looking after them. The lay out is spacious with lots of activities and they always enjoy their meals
too. With the use of the app, communication is so quick and easy. Really can’t fault the nursery. My daughter will be upset when she leaves to go to school in September! Thank you Teddies!

Teddies Nursery has helped my daughter come on leaps and bounds. The staff are incredibly dedicated and have been amazing and kept us up to date the entire time through the coronavirus crisis.

I can't compare to other settings but for us, this is an amazing nursery. Friendly staff, great with kids. Going above and beyond the standard of care (like preparing different food for a child that does not want to eat a standard meal). My son loves going in. An extra thank you for your work during

Jessica Tate

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2012

Jessica is the Manager of Little Trees Day Nursery Celtic Springs. Jessica started her career as a Nursery Practitioner and has progressed to Manager throughout her years at the nursery through continual professional development. Jessica's favourite thing about her job is working together with the children and parents and creating positive relationships. When she is not working, she particularly enjoys baking and reading.


To support her, Jessica has a highly qualified and experienced team. Her staff are dedicated to giving young children the care and attention they need to aid their social, emotional and intellectual development. Our nursery workers are up to Level 5 qualified in Childcare and Education or are working towards or beyond this qualification. We offer training and continued professional development to all employees.


We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All our employees undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Staff are trained in paediatric first aid and child protection, giving you added peace of mind.
