Little Trees Celtic Springs is a modern, purpose-built nursery with plenty of indoor and outdoor space designed for playing, learning, eating, relaxing and sleeping.

At Little Trees Celtic Springs, they believe in the development of the whole child and recognise that each child is unique. Children are encouraged to develop and learn at their own pace, helping to foster happy, confident children.

The nursery curriculum provides the children with quality learning experiences, relevant to the child and rooted in play. They follow the curriculum of the Early Years Foundation Stage from the age of three. This provides promotes the 'early learning goals' identified by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. Children are taught and spoken to in English. Welsh words and phrases are also used throughout the nursery.

Little Trees Celtic Springs has the highest standards and in May 2016 was given the Welsh Government Healthy and Sustainable Pre-School Award for its nutritious meals and for its teachings on a healthy diet and the importance of physical activity.

Our daughters thrived at Little Trees, with our eldest leaving well-prepared to start school and our youngest moving to a more local nursery. It felt like such a caring and nurturing big family and we were all so sad to say goodbye. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful, dedicated staff. They
knew our girls inside out and their bond was beautiful to watch. It helped us feel secure and confident that they were always safe and happy. Thank you, team! We miss you.

Our daughter really enjoyed her time here. She went from the age of 10 months up until she left to join school. The staff were always friendly and caring. There was a good range of food offered. We would definitely recommend it.

We had two children go through Little Trees in Celtic Springs, and it was a joyful experience for them. We knew they were in great hands when we dropped them off, and would invariably be in a happy mood and full of lively descriptions of what they'd done that day upon picking them up. Doing the nursery
pick-up for the last time was a bittersweet moment because of how formative and enjoyable Little Trees had been for our children - not to mention how personable and kind the staff there are - albeit knowing that it had prepared them well for their next step on the education ladder. A wonderful nursery and we can only thank the staff for all their hard work in creating such a positive, caring environment.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the wonderful experience my two children had at Little Trees Celtic Springs from 2018 until 2024. As a parent, finding a nurturing and stimulating environment for my children was my priority, and this nursery exceeded all my expectations.
From the very first visit,
it was clear that Little Trees is a safe and comforting place for my children to flourish. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and they genuinely care about each child's development and well-being. My children formed strong bonds with their caregivers, which made transitioning into the nursery a smooth and enjoyable experience for all of us.
I am so grateful to the entire team for their dedication and for making our experience so positive.

This nursery was an excellent choice for my children. They were happy, safe, active and learning each day. The staff are all wonderful and kept our children in safe hands. Great communication from the staff and the ability to check in during the day was a great positive. It was a sad day when we had
to say goodbye to the wonderful staff who cared for our children. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery!

I can’t recommend the nursery enough, they take time to settle in the children when they’re new to the environment and update you on the food they have, sleep, and nappy changes and let you know how they have been for the day. The carers take time to send you photos so you can see what your child has
been up to during the week, telling you the areas they have explored and developments. All the carers take time to build a bond with your child and they are kept very busy throughout the day doing lots of different activities, walks and time outside in the summer. They help build confidence and encourage them to interact with other children in group settings encouraging sensory play and physical development. Quick to let you know when they feel unwell, and safeguarding is important to the nursery. My daughter enjoys her time in the nursery and I cannot thank the carers enough, they are all amazing.

We have been taking our little one to Little Trees Day Nursery for around six months now, and he always comes home very happy from the nursery.
We are always given a full breakdown of everything he has done during the day, including meals eaten, nappy changes, activities and nap times, along with
photos. We can also direct message the carers on an app to check in at any time to see how his day has been so far.
The carers are absolutely fantastic, have great communication and keep us posted on daily events. Our little one often comes home with arts/crafts that he has been making at nursery, which I think is fantastic! Overall, we think the nursery is fantastic and want to thank all the staff for the work they do.

The nursery are brilliant with my child who has a disability. He thoroughly enjoys his time there. He gets super excited in the mornings when he gets there which is lovely to see! The staff are excellent with him and give him the time and attention that he needs.

Both my boys love going to Little Trees. The girls are amazing with them and they have learned so much. They complete activities daily and we’re always up to date with progress and how their days are going. Couldn’t be happier. Will be sad when the eldest leaves for primary school.

We could not be any happier with the care that our son receives at Little Trees Celtic Springs.
The girls in the room look after him so well and he happily goes to them every morning - no fuss or tears. We get regular updates about the activities he has been doing and how he is progressing, as well
as lots of photos. He had a dairy intolerance and is catered to really well.
The nursery is so open and transparent that we have total confidence in them.
Highly recommended for anyone looking.

Have had an excellent experience with the nursery and all of the staff my daughter interacts with and more. Every member of staff has been fantastic and so friendly and polite. My daughter loves coming to nursery each day that she's in and can't wait for the next time she's there. She had learnt so
much and come on a long way! She loves all the staff in her room and is never happy to leave without giving them a cuddle! Really can't thank the staff enough for making her nursery experience as amazing as it has been! Plus all the management staff have been great at helping me when I have needed it and always do so with a smile on their face! Nothing has ever been too much trouble! Thank you so much!

I can not fault this nursery. They always go above and beyond. All staff are welcoming and friendly. Everyone is so polite and can't do enough for you and your child. We have been attending this nursery now for 5 years as both my children attended. The camera's are a godsend however I rarely feel I
need to check in as I know my little boy is safe and enjoying himself. It is nice to log in and see him playing or learning with his friends though.


I 1000% recommend this nursery.

Little Trees Nursery is a warm, welcoming team of hardworking people who go above and beyond every day for the children to ensure they’re receiving the best quality of care as well as having lots of fun.
The nursery is full of happy smiles, and approachable, friendly staff that have always made me
feel at complete ease when dropping my children off each morning.
I have 2 children- both of whom have attended this nursery.
My eldest child has additional learning needs and a diagnosis of ASD and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that the right support was put in place so he could access everything the nursery had to offer.
My second child has recently joined the nursery and It was lovely to see the same staff from
Years previous.
I cannot recommend this nursery more highly and I am very grateful for everything they have done for my family.

My child's time at nursery was phenomenal! He started going for 6 months and didn't leave until he started school. The care he got from the staff was second to none and I always felt safe leaving him there. It gave him the kick start he needed and it gave me the confidence that I could leave him in
safe hands. Communication was always there and I knew what he'd eaten, what he'd been up to and whether he'd had a nap! He's a happy well-rounded boy because of the care he was given and the diversity he was exposed to. thank you Little Trees!

Our daughter attended Little Trees from the age of 11 months to 4 years. Little Trees is a fantastic nursery. Our daughter was nurtured in every room she was in throughout her time at nursery. All her carers throughout her time in nursery were amazing. They were kind, supportive, caring and nurturing.
The management have always been fantastic, again supportive to our daughter and us as parents. We can't thank all the staff at Little Trees enough for everything over the years. We cannot recommend Little Trees enough.

I cannot fault the way my little girl is looked after. All the staff are amazing and you can genuinely see how much they really care about her. My daughter is always so happy to be there. They send me regular updates about her throughout the day. They really are amazing with her. My daughter has difficulties
with swallowing and they are fantastic. They go above and beyond with her. I have complete peace of mind while I am working knowing she is so well looked after!

Hello all, just a heads up from one mum to another. We recently had to take our child out of Little Trees Celtic Springs as a dad physically threatened us and tried to start a fight on the nursery stairs of all places (in front of my child). Because there are no cameras the nursery hasn't done anything
despite this being a clear safeguarding concern. The nursery itself is great just be wary that they aren't good at tackling aggressive parents.
Please note the manager is great, my low score is for her Manager and the senior leadership of Little Trees.

Jessica Tate

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2012

Jessica is the Manager of Little Trees Day Nursery Celtic Springs. Jessica started her career as a Nursery Practitioner and has progressed to Manager throughout her years at the nursery through continual professional development. Jessica's favourite thing about her job is working together with the children and parents and creating positive relationships. When she is not working, she particularly enjoys baking and reading.


To support her, Jessica has a highly qualified and experienced team. Her staff are dedicated to giving young children the care and attention they need to aid their social, emotional and intellectual development. Our nursery workers are up to Level 5 qualified in Childcare and Education or are working towards or beyond this qualification. We offer training and continued professional development to all employees.


We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All our employees undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Staff are trained in paediatric first aid and child protection, giving you added peace of mind.
