It has been such a wonderful journey, and we will always remain thankful to the entire Chapel Nursery team for giving him such a loving and nurturing start. Highly recommend!

I wouldn't say the Chapel is terrible but I wouldn't say it's amazing either. One of the main issues is they charge you the usual high fees but then expect you to wash bedding, put sun cream on yourself every morning (with no help if you've just forgotten that one time) and they use a happy/sad face behaviour system with the kids which has been proven time and again to be unsuitable with small children. The expectations on behaviour are not age appropriate and the staff often are negative at pick up and do so in front of other parents. I've heard lots about other people's children I don't want to hear. On top of the fees as kids get older there's uniform. In the summer pick up is often from the garden where if you can't see over the gate you have to climb up. The entry system breaks regularly on the main door as well. There are some good members of staff but often they leave. We've had to stay because the only other local nursery is the same company and is apparently really not great.

Thank you teachers for giving my daughter certificates. She is very happy and she reminded herself to be a good girl at home. Thank you so much for recognizing her and let her have sense of achievement. Thank you again!

I was initially hesitant due to the frequent staff changes, but once I got to know the team, I felt reassured and confident that my daughter is in safe, caring hands. The teachers are all incredibly patient and nurturing with the babies and young children.

A special mention goes to one staff member in particular, she has truly made the transition into nursery life so much easier for both me and my little one. As a first-time parent, it can be nerve-wracking leaving your child, but this staff member's gentle, consistent communication and the detailed feedback she provides at the end of each day has brought me so much peace of mind.

I'm truly grateful to her and the whole team for creating such a warm and supportive environment!

The Chapel Nursery have been a great addition to my child's routine. The staff are very attentive & genuinely care about the children's development and progression. Two staff members in particular are very polite and always keep me informed- the two have worked with me to help with the numerous milestone transitions my child has gone through from baby to toddler.

The staff always have fun activities for the kids to take part in and also have a great menu for the children. Overall, I'm glad I chose The Chapel nursery, no reservations at all.

4) Quite dirty of a place if I have to compare against other local nurseries.

My son started at the beginning of September at 11 months old. I've been thoroughly pleased with how quickly and well he's settled thanks to the friendly and approachable staff. He has made such a strong bond with his keyworker, although all members never fail to tell me how he's doing. I love the daily updates and pictures, he eats great food and has picked up tonnes of new skills in the short space of time he's attended. Thank you!

My daughter came here and still talks about her teachers here, staff have a wealth of knowledge and are always there to listen with empathy and help with any concerns. I was also given brilliant advice for my older son who was struggling at school. Amazing nursery and staff.

The food is delicious. Staff members are kind.

Our son has been at the nursery for about 4 months now and we couldn’t be happier or recommend the nursery highly enough. He settled in really well and quickly, and genuinely seems to have a great time every day, the staff are really attentive and really great with him, and the updates on the app and at the end of each day are great.

Wonderful staff, amazing management and such a great atmosphere. My son has really enjoyed attending this nursery. Staff are so amazing with his extra needs and support him so well. Very reasonably priced too.

As a parent, it was nice to be invited into the nursery to take part in Christmas arts and crafts. Being able to just sit with my daughter in the nursery environment and speak with the key workers. It was just a nice warm experience to know my daughter is in safe and happy hands with the nursery. I’d like to take part in opportunities like this and get involved more as my daughter develops at the nursery.

Leaving my baby at 10 months was so difficult but The Chapel made it so much easier. The settling-in sessions were well organised and they sent lots of photos to reassure us. He settled very quickly, has established a good routine and enjoys going and seeing his friends and the lovely staff. The app is great and receiving the updates and photos each day are often the highlight of my day at work!

Communication is brilliant, especially as you can send messages, rather than calls. The staff are very reassuring, look after him well, put a lot of thought into giving the little ones different activities each day, including lots of messy play and art/craft activities, and notice new things that he's achieved. It's a lovely space with a nice garden. The staff also record food, naps, nappy changes etc on the app is really useful, as well as helping me feel connected to my boy during the day.

I highly recommend viewing the nursery and seeing for yourself.

My child is supported and loved at every setback or challenge but celebrated with milestones he accomplishes. The staff are well trained and professional. We are so lucky to have a daycare that looks after him as if he was with family.

My child has started September 2023 and so far he has been slowly making progress. He has adapted to the environment very quickly and really enjoys spending his days in nursery. So far, the staff have been amazing and have been attentive to my child’s needs. Their daily updates are amazing and provide amazing care to my son.

Have just moved my 2-year-old here from another nursery and I thought it was only right to leave a glowing review because I have been so impressed. The team have been amazing in welcoming my little one into their space, the communication between them and us has been incredible and I am seeing such a happier difference in my child since attending there. He genuinely seems to love attending nursery now, which was something we never experienced in his previous setting. Really recommend.

All staff have been amazing and go above and beyond for the care and wellbeing of my child and to help him progress and develop in the best possible way. My son sees the staff as a second family and can’t wait to go in each day.

The Pickford Nursery is an excellent nursery. From the moment I met with the manager on my viewing day, I knew that my daughter would receive the best care at the nursery. The manager was kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. The staff are friendly, supportive and caring. My daughter has progressed in her abilities and has learnt new skills. She loves her days at nursery and has such fun. My daughter has allergies and the team have taken great care to understand her allergies and needs. I receive daily support and pictures. She has great meals and time outdoors. I feel reassured she is safe and well looked after. I can't recommend the nursery enough.

My son has been going to the nursery for over 2 years. We have found the team excellent and supportive of all our needs as a family. The facilities and activities have been perfect to support my son's development.

Pickford Nursery have been great, my son has recently started and was a little shy and upset when leaving him. They've kept us updated regularly and he seems really happy when we see him in the garden playing before pick-up.
