The Pickford Nursery

My son started at the beginning of September at 11 months old. I've been thoroughly pleased with how quickly and well he's settled thanks to the friendly and approachable staff. He has made such a strong bond with his keyworker, although all members never fail to tell me how he's doing. I love the daily updates and pictures, he eats great food and has picked up tonnes of new skills in the short space of time he's attended. Thank you!

Our son has been at the nursery for about 4 months now and we couldn’t be happier or recommend the nursery highly enough. He settled in really well and quickly, and genuinely seems to have a great time every day, the staff are really attentive and really great with him, and the updates on the app and at the end of each day are great.

Wonderful staff, amazing management and such a great atmosphere. My son has really enjoyed attending this nursery. Staff are so amazing with his extra needs and support him so well. Very reasonably priced too.

All staff have been amazing and go above and beyond for the care and wellbeing of my child and to help him progress and develop in the best possible way. My son sees the staff as a second family and can’t wait to go in each day.

The Pickford Nursery is an excellent nursery. From the moment I met with the manager on my viewing day, I knew that my daughter would receive the best care at the nursery. The manager was kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. The staff are friendly, supportive and caring. My daughter has progressed in her abilities and has learnt new skills. She loves her days at nursery and has such fun. My daughter has allergies and the team have taken great care to understand her allergies and needs. I receive daily support and pictures. She has great meals and time outdoors. I feel reassured she is safe and well looked after. I can't recommend the nursery enough.

My son has been going to the nursery for over 2 years. We have found the team excellent and supportive of all our needs as a family. The facilities and activities have been perfect to support my son's development.

Pickford Nursery have been great, my son has recently started and was a little shy and upset when leaving him. They've kept us updated regularly and he seems really happy when we see him in the garden playing before pick-up.

My daughters experience at the nursery has been great. She has improved her confidence, her talking and her ability to problem solve. Each and every day she is developing herself and her mind. Challenging herself to do and be better than the day before.

My daughter has been at Pickford Nursery since she was 8 months old. She has now just turned three and I couldn't be happier with our decision. Pickford is a nurturing environment and I know my daughter is safe, happy and well looked after. All of the staff make an effort to get to know your child, their individual quirks and their likes and dislikes. Parents are invited to have a say with things such as menus which is lovely as it adds to that home-from-home feeling. Thank you to the Manager and everyone at Pickford Nursery.

Overall it’s a good nursery, with lots of learning activities, and friendly faculty. My daughter improved her speaking, and listening skills over there. They have good equipment/toys which keep the children busy and curious. My daughter enjoys her time there.

I couldn't recommend the Pickford Nursery highly enough!

Very pleased with the nursery and how far my daughter has progressed since being here. Always lots of activities and even a couple of trips out to the library. Very good communication between staff and parents, and always happy with the handover at the end of the day. Staff do seem to change quite regularly, and have had a few key workers in a short space of time, but apart from this, I am overall very happy with the nursery and the lovely staff there too.

Both me and my son are very happy with The Pickford nursery. Never had an issue. They are always understanding and trying their best to solve a problem quickly.I highly recommend it. The staff are friendly too - keep up the good work.

Amazing new nursery, my child loves it here and has been here for about 7 months now. Staff are attentive and provide updates via an app which makes it very reassuring for the parent. Highly recommend.

Every child is their parents' absolute world and The Pickford really understands this and we, as a family unit, feel listened to. We cannot praise the team enough. The activities are so creative and our son comes home with and wows us with actions to songs we never knew he would pick up! They are very inclusive of different cultures too which is fantastic in facilitating diversity within our children.

My daughter started with Pickford nursery when she was 18 months old. She loves the nursery. The nursery plans all the activities in advance and encourages the kids to play. They also maintain very good hygiene and cleanliness which is really critical. All the staff members are super friendly and so affectionate with the kids. Highly recommended for all age groups for kids.

The staff are so friendly and great at updating you through the app on when your child naps, has a wet/dirty nappy and what they eat. They also send regular updates with pictures throughout the day on their activities. Another great thing is that you can message them and they can message you via the app, and they are very quick at responding. I was worried at first about putting my son in the nursery, but the staff made his settling-in sessions very easy for him and now he loves it!

I couldn't be happier with the Pickford Nursery. From the first time I looked around, the atmosphere was very open and welcoming. My little boy has been going for just over eight months now and loves it. Of course, it took him a little while to settle, but he bonded with the staff very quickly and soon made himself at home. It's clear the staff all love him and enjoy the fact he's a real character and I'm comfortable that he's being very well cared for. The nursery is in a lovely modern building, which makes it light and airy and with lots of space for the children to run around/do different activities. A lot of thought and effort goes into the activities they do and my little boy clearly enjoys doing things he doesn't get to do at home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Pickford Nursery to other parents.
