Day Nurseries Owned by The Early Years Group in Hampshire

I took my child to Newlands Preschool yesterday for his trial session ahead of starting next week, and I couldn't be happier.

I was very nervous as I've never left him with anyone other than family, but from the reassuring phone call the day before-where they took time to answer all our questions-I already felt more at ease.

When we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly. The staff were incredibly kind and made my child a priority straight away. He settled in so quickly, which showed just how safe and happy he felt.

He had a wonderful time, and it's clear the environment is thoughtfully set up for children to thrive. The staff are caring, confident, and attentive.

I left feeling completely reassured about the week ahead-and most importantly, so did my child. It's such a lovely, nurturing environment and I'm really excited for him to start.

We couldn't be happier with the care and support they provide.

My son started Warsash Early Years when they first opened in September. All of the staff have been welcoming and we've built some great relationships with the key and original members of staff. My son absolutely loves it here and really is thriving.

He attended a previous nursery but we changed to Warsash as it was closer to home and we've been throughly impressed. They utilise their outside space on a daily basis which is a great selling point for us. When they're able to, they go out on walks. (Lockswood Library, get the bus, Remembrance Day, the woods, the park, the beach). My son hasn't had a bad day here. The food is great. The staff look to the parents for guidance and support with routines which is a MAJOR tick for us as our son stopped napping but the old nursery would allow him to nap late in the day (nightmare for bedtime!) They're supportive on milestones, development and potty training.

My son has been in the toddler and pre school room. Amazing nursery.

We couldn't recommend Warsash EC highly enough! Our son has been going since January 2026 and the experience has been fantastic from the very start. As first-time parents, we were naturally quite apprehensive and visited several nurseries before making a decision. Warsash stood out to us and it's exceeded all of our expectations. Jess, Cathie, and Neve have been absolutely wonderful with our son providing regular updates and making us feel completely at ease. That said, every member of staff we've interacted with has been incredibly kind, caring, and professional.

My son has attended Warsash Early Years since in opened back in September/October. Being an ex-military family, we have had our fair share of experience when it comes to nurseries, and Warsash is truly great. The team are so warm and welcoming, they treat the children with such kindness and have gone above and beyond to ensure my son is settled. Their communication is great. I've been impressed with the efforts they have made to integrate into the community. From book hunts, links with the primary school at church events, Christmas Carols etc.

They make the most of the local environment. They take walks to the woods, the park, the local memorial on remembrance. I love the fact the take the children out and about! The indoor space is beautiful. Lots of light, space and natural clean feel. Also, they are absolutely fair and transparent with pricing unlike some other local competitors. They are reasonable, clearly not just in it to get as much as they can from parents.

Even though my son hasn't wanted to say goodbye to mum or dad each morning at drop off, I know he is in such safe hands and I know he is going to be smiling again within minutes. The staff are so caring and attentive. I love this nursery as they go out everday, sometimes twice a day if the kiddies want to, they encourage adventure and outdoor play! I am very grateful of the staff looking after all of the children, they are all amazing! Thank you! The only reason why I cant give 4 stars is because of the size of the garden, it would be perfect if there was more outdoor space but thankfully they have so many places on their doorstep to walk to.

My daughter has been attending for just under a year. She loves attending and is always met with a friendly face. All members of staff, regardless of whether they are her key worker or not, know her daily routine very well and are able to give clear hand-over notes of how her day went. My daughter has continued to grow in confidence in their care and I feel she is very well prepared for her transition to school life as a result.

My daughter has really settled into the nursery so well she goes in so contently and comes out so happy. The staff have all been so welcoming, attentive and informative and we can tell she has a great bond with them all. My daughter has grown in confidence and her speech has developed so much since attending. The staff are really passionate about each individual child and take time getting to know them on a personal level and always helping them developing their personal milestones ensuring they're always happy too. Would definitely recommend to anyone

All the staff go above and beyond for the children and I would definitely recommend to anyone considering a nursery / pre school for their child.

On the days he is attending that setting he wakes up very early and cant wait to go and meet all his friends and teachers. I find them to be amazing and very attending to his needs. He is having time of his life there.

My daughter has been going since September last year and has absolutely thrived here. The staff are all fantastic and so caring. She comes home telling us all the exciting things she has done each day and loves looking through the photos of what she's done that have been uploaded to Tapestry. She will be very sad to leave Newlands when she goes to school next year!

My daughter loves going to Kings Worthy Early Years, and I can see why. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make every child feel comfortable from the moment they walk in. They really encourage independence and support each child at their own pace. Any help or specific needs are handled with great care and understanding. I'm very happy with the experience my daughter is having here.

My daughter has loved 'school' since day one at Newlands, she gets excited to go in and tells me all about her day filled with excitement.

I love that they are always updating the online parent portal with pictures and updates same day so you know exactly what there up to and can encourage my daughter to remember what shes done and tell me all about it.

All the lady's/Teachers i have had nothing but positive vibes from, they provide detailed handovers on pick up and clearly care for all the children shown in how well they know every individual child. My daughter was in nappies when she started and is now potty trained, they have fully supported through the transition.

Overall, my daughter loves going to Newlands and even on her days off is asking to go back, i as a parent have had no issues and think their communication is 10/10. Considering how nervous i was with starting this journey for my daughter its been nothing but great for her

All the staff at Newlands Early Years Centre are honestly amazing. Every single one of them has their own special qualities, and you can really see how much the kids benefit from it. They're so hands-on, caring, and genuinely loving with the children.

My daughter absolutely loves going to pre school-she's never once said she didn't want to go! They do so many fun, creative learning activities, and it's clear how much thought they put into making each day exciting.

I also love the app, where they keep you updated on what the kids get up to each day. It's so nice being able to see what she's been doing.

We couldn't be happier with Newlands & the amazing staff. It's such a lovely place for the kids to grow & learn!

My child settling in quickly @ Newlands nursery as all the staff are fun, kind, and welcoming to the children. I am impressed their well plan activities on daily bases. The children take part in wide range of activities which support all areas of her development. The staff are always communicating to us and supportive especially from her key person. I will recommend this nursery to anyone.

The nursery has good outdoor areas and a lovely selection of outdoor garden activities. It's great that they often do the woodland walk and multi sports on a set day each week. My child doesn't tell me about what he has learnt so will be nice to have more updates on the app or a paper newsletter to see what he has been up to. A few times he's come home and had an accident in his pants so would love for staff to try and encourage the children to go bathroom before pick up. He loves the multi sports and the garden time activities. Staff are great and easy to talk to. Food is good we bring in lunch but nursery provides snacks etc. nursery is very clean and well looked after we love the borrowing books.

We've had two children attend this preschool, and both absolutely loved their time there. The staff are caring, attentive, and really take the time to understand each child's personality. It's been wonderful to see how happy and confident our kids have been each day. We couldn't recommend this preschool more!

My daughter just loves to go the centre. She's always coming out with happy face and had lots of fun. The centre really try their best they just keep organising fun entertaining and educational activities for the kids. The communication is excellent. Parents can talk with the centre workers even on morning or at collection time or on phone. The manager responds the emails also very quick. Everyone is really kind, they love the kids and they love them too. My daughter learnt so much already at the last couple of weeks and she's just getting more and more confident and independent after every single day.

My son has settled in really well with his key worker, which has made such a difference. The facilities are great - clean, welcoming, and well-equipped. There are loads of fun daily activities that keep the children busy and happy. Overall, a wonderful preschool experience!
