My child is having a really positive experience here at Bloomsbury street- he is progressing well, making really strong connections with other children and the staff. He seems really happy and safe here, which is the most important thing.
The nursery clearly have created thoughtful, creative and fun
tasks for the children-promoting strong development in a range of areas, based on the childs age.
The nursery staff seem fantastic and attentive and we have had really positive experiences with both of his Key Persons.


In terms of areas of improvement, I have had concerns over his diet and the food served at times. Often very high volumes of processed carbohydrates and fruit and often doesn't feel balanced.


I also feel that the nursery isn't as nature and outdoor focused as perhaps I would like. There is an outdoor space at the nursery but it is an astroturf and not a real natural garden. This connection to nature that you would get, I don't think can be replicated with an astroturf.

I wish I had known about this nursery for my oldest child! As I currently have my 3yr old (for the past 2 years) I can't praise the staff enough. From management, key people and every single person working there.
As it is a smaller setting the kids get the luxury of more "one to one" time, and you
feel staff like family as they really know your child and see them grow.
The team goes the extra mile to find out about each childs family, celebrate multicultural celebrations such as 'namedays' which is important for the family, to make everyone feel included.when we noticed our child stammering and having difficulty speaking the team immediately jumped to support him/us by putting him on a SEND plan and providing weekly progress updates.Turnover is very low which is very important for kids and parents, but what I am really impressed by is that everyone working there has specialized education in specific topics that covers all needs that a child could have. You leave your kid with family!

My son has been attending Bloomsbury on the Beach since 2024, and we couldn't be happier with the nursery and pre-school.


One of the things I love most is how much time the children spend outdoors and involved in community learning. My son thrives outside rather than being cooped up indoors, and

the team recognised this very early on when he first joined.


The staff are truly amazing - they have supported my son with his learning and speech, and have helped him grow in confidence. Their care, understanding, and dedication really shine through.


Thank you to all the staff at Bloomsbury on the Beach.


We are extremely grateful, and I highly recommend this wonderful setting to other families.

Fantastic staff- very communicative. Really care about my son. Lots of wonderful activities. The parents all feel like one big family. The staff move rooms a lot which is a sign that management are promoting their professional development. The staff are really good at getting all my sons clothes and
shoes back to us at the end of the day. The menu seems pretty good and most staff are able to tell me how well my son has eaten. I love this nursery.

We have had the best experience with the library at Hove village. The toddler and pre-school rooms have both been amazing and my daughter has really enjoyed her time there. We moved from a different nursery where she used to hate going and since the move, she has literally loved everyday and skips down
the path from the gate every morning. When we pick her up she can't wait to tell us about all she has learnt that day and the exciting things they have been doing. From trips to the train station, local nursing home and the museum and of course popping up to the library upstairs, they have a great time. Her learning has been amazing there and I am sure that she is going to be so prepared to move onto school despite being the youngest in the year. I can't sing the praises of the staff at Hove village library enough! They are just amazing and to kind and caring. They also show genuine interest and care for my child! Excellent setting!!

I'd like to celebrate how happy we are as parents sending our child to Hove Village at Hove Library. We have experience of two other nurseries for our older child as we lived in a different area, Hove Village has far surpassed our experience anywhere else.
Our child is confident and happy going into
nursery, the team create a welcoming and nurturing environment for them each day.
There are always lots of opportunities for new learning experiences.
Our child has become much more independent since starting at nursery. The team have been excellent in talking about big feelings and discussing how to express how we feel to each other and how to manage that when feeling upset.
We really enjoy the regular updates on the family app to see what our child has been up to, including observations and assessments, which are always linked into the EYFS.
Overall we have been delighted with the nursery and they have provided a nurturing, caring and stimulating environment for our child.

My first child has been at Hove library for two years and seeing how happy she is around all the educators and how her confidence has grown over the time meant we were excited for our youngest to start this year. Since her first settle session she has had so much fun and we feel so comfortable dropping
her off each morning. She is so calm and happy at drop off regardless of which educator opens the door, I feel this is a great testament to how safe and nurturing they make the nursery environment for the children.

We absolutely love Hove Village at the library. We have been going there since 2022. My eldest was there from age 1 until starting school and my youngest started last year age 10 months.
Both kids love it there.
It's a real safe and nurturing environment for the kids and you can tell the staff really
care and make the children feel loved.
Cannot recommend it enough.

We have our little one in the wish road nursery. From day one when he joined, they were very supportive and helpful. As our little one has loads of energy, they have managed to keep him busy and make him enjoy the nursery! They have gone lots of time the extra mile and they are coming with suggestions

My son has nothing but enjoyment at Hove village. Always bounding through the door at arrival to the friendly faces creating him each morning. The food is fantastic and freshly made and the added bonus of having " yoga with Sarah" always brings a particular level of happiness to the day.

We couldn't love Bloomsbury Street Day Nursery any more! From day 1 our little boy settled in to the nursery so well and I feel it is a testament to the nurturing and fun environment the staff create for the children.
They do SO many fun activities, crafting and physical play, story time and going
out on little adventures. I love watching the app and seeing how much fun he has every day.
The attention to detail and extra care they provide is second to none, my little boy has allergies and they are so thorough with his meals and always make me feel reassured that he is receiving the best care.
I couldn't recommend the nursery more!

We love Hove Village Bloomsbury nursery the second we stepped into the nursery for the first time, it creates such a calm environment for the children, all the teachers are very hands on and very attentive, it is one of those pleases where you know people love what they do every day, and they love spending
time with every children, I think that's what the nursery is about!

My daughter joined in September 2025 and although getting her settled in was a little challenging I put my trust in the kind and caring team at Bloomsbury street day nursery.
The nursery is a child lead environment, with plenty of messy play and art activities which I know that my baby enjoys and thrives
from. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the doorbell is so loud and very disruptive in the giraffes room (my daughters age group room) I feel that it should go to the office / reception room rather than into the room where the kids are. It upsets every child thinking that their parents have arrived at every delivery or visitor. I also imagine it to be disruptive during naptimes which makes me sad. It's also extra challenging for any children with sensory issues, which I would hope in this day and age would have been taking into consideration.
Apart from that everything has been great so far and looking forward to returning after our winter break

Our son has been at Bloomsbury on the Beach for around three months now and has had a great experience. He is happy there and learns a lot. I have been impressed by the amount of trips and activities they do, from trips to the park to playing on the beach, baking, cooking, yoga, dance classes etc. They
do something different every day.


The food is also good with an emphasis on fresh meals and plenty of snacks.


I am super confident in recommending this nursery.

We are very happy with Bloomsbury on the Beach and the staff. My son is settled and loves the outdoor time at the park and beach. He has made lovely friendships with both children and staff, and often talks about them at home, which is very reassuring.
The food is good and he always eats well, though
the menu has been the same for quite a while. The fees are competitive, and after viewing other nurseries, none compared to the Bloomsbury brand for us. Having previously worked in a nursery, I had high expectations, and Bloomsbury has met them.
The only minor frustration is paying for extras on unused or closed days. Overall, my son is truly blooming there, and the team has been fantastic in supporting his recent potty training.
