Muddy boots is a fantastic nursery, my son Leo absolutely loves coming here seeing his friends and staff members. He's been coming here since he was 4 months old and I'll keep him here as long as I can before he starts reception at big boy school. They helped support me with so much including potty
training, help with eating and trying new food, helping him crawl to walking, and emotional support even on days where he felt upset. Would 100% recommend this nursery to any new parents looking for their children. Megan is my son's key worker and I cannot thank her enough for what she's done for Leo's development, he never stops talking about her when he comes home and he says Meg is his best friend!

Both our children have thrived by attending the nursery. The prioritisation of outdoor play, including forest school, have been great opportunities for the children to experience different environments and embed learning from the indoors to out. The focus weeks particularly the two way communication
around these, asking for our recent observations, and tailoring approaches where appropriate have helped the children's individual development. The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. Not just with regards to the day to day, but administration team and enquiries about funding. Everyone we have spoken to has been friendly and approachable with any questions we have asked. Also the food offered to them is brilliant, with transparency and communication around this area, which has helped us know that are children are being catered to with healthy and nutritional options. We can't thank everyone enough for all they do.

Amazing nursery I had both my children go to muddy boots, my son still attends and they are helping me help him. The staff have given me tools to help him at home. He enjoys the outdoors and playing on the climbing frame.

I would highly recommend muddy boots gildersome to any parent looking for somewhere to place their child. I was a very worried parent putting my child in nursery but the staff are amazing and made me feel at ease straight away and give updates on my child throughout the day & also settled my daughter
in very well. They have brilliant food options for the kids meal times , and do a lot of fun and engaging activities with the children to help them progress with their learning .

Excellent nursery. All of the staff are amazing and really seem to know my child well after a short period of time. She has a great relationship with her key worker and all the room staff who are so caring. They always do so many different activities throughout the day to ensure the kids are learning
whilst having fun. We get lots of updates and photos to keep us in the loop of what she is getting up to each day.

An absolutely fantastic nursery, since my daughter starting with them at 9 months they have been nothing but attentive, professional and loving towards her. She has developed so much with the activities they arrange and they have brought the absolute best out of her. She has gone through a lot of change
in her time there and nursery has been a fantastic supportive consistent place not only for her but for me too. Can't thank them enough and so glad I chose here.

Wonderful place with lovely staff! My little boy is sometimes very shy and doesn't adjust well to strange faces, but the kind staff make him feel comfortable enough that he reaches for them in the morning and blows kisses when he's picked up. We've a difficult situation at home with my critically ill
wife, and the staff members at the nursery have gone above and beyond to make us feel safe regarding illnesses and infections etc. We feel involved at every stage and feel comfortable and confided our little boy is in the best hands! Very kindly gone the extra mile to accommodate us in a difficult time, lots of updates etc though the day. The app and all the information that's part of the care package is great and you can see how your child has done with meal times, naps, nappies etc
All in all extremely pleased would recommend to all!

I've had two children attend this nursery and have both loved it. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They work very hard to accommodate the needs of both parents and children, I would highly recommend.

Since my little girl has been at kaleidoscope Gildersome she's come on so well with her leaning and talking, I was so worried before she started with her not saying many words, now she's a little chatty box. She's always happy when I go pick her up, the staff are so lovely and friendly. Staff are so
understanding too I'm happy that I choose kaleidoscope for her.
The meals are amazing my little girl fussy with her meals but they always make sure she eats something. Never goes without.

My little one has been going to Muddy Boots Nursery Gildersome since he was 6 months old and has been supported throughout every development phase. The staff take time to really understand each child and their specific needs and menus are tailored as needed (e.g. sugar free).
The activities prepared
for the children every day are amazing with new themes and activities to keep them interested and engaged.

My daughter is in her second week at Kaleidoscope. I was very nervous about this transition, as she had been attending a childminder for a few months and was always very distressed at parting and reuniting with me and her dad. However, I had nothing to worry about. She is so clearly happy at nursery
and is thriving. She is making lots of new friends, getting so much better at socialising, and learning that being away from Mummy isn't that scary at all. I love the variety of activities she does every day, how caring all the staff are with her, and how much her language and motor skills are improving even in just the short time she has been there. I love the updates on the app and seeing what she's been up to each day. It also makes it very easy to plan sleep patterns and food for the evening, knowing exactly what she's eaten. I hope she continues to love it as much as she is doing at the moment! Thank you so much.

The nursery location is great, plenty of parking at drop off/pick up. Inside the nursery is lovely and clean, many of the toys are from natural materials and there is outside space for them to play. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. My children absolutely love their time here. You receive
updates via the app of what activities/meals take place each day which is great to see.

My daughter loves it here. All the pictures show a smiling happy baby.
Outdoor space it’s great and they spend time outside, all ages and in all weathers, which I think is great!
My daughter's key worker seems to have a lovely bond with my daughter and time really was invested in their relationship
when she first started the nursery.
They do some great activities and lots of messy play and also have external parties come in for music lessons.
The staff are friendly and supportive and I actually love how strict they are on the door if they don’t recognise a parent. Passwords must be given.
My daughter has experienced a wide range of foods with varying flavours and textures. It’s a very good varied menu.
I think the costs are expensive but no different to all the other day nurseries. Luckily, I will receive the free government hours eventually.

Kaleidescope Drighlington has been a fantastic nursery for both of my children. In particular my son who has a speech delay. They have gone above and beyond to make sure his time there is enjoyable and supported him on his speech journey with professionals and constant updates on his progress. I couldn't
be happier with them. Highly recommend!

Just a general all-around good nursery, always willing to help.
Any time I had an issue, the staff at Kaleidoscope Day Nursery (Morley) was willing to sort it out even at short notice.
My son has been attending since he was 5-6 months and now he's 6 years old and now attends their breakfast and
after-school club.
Thank you.

Meals are not set for individual children's preferences and needs, even though you get charged for it which means my child misses out on a meal every week and is hungry at pick-up time.
Reply from Natasha Smith, Manager at Muddy Boots Nursery (Gildersome)Our aim is that mealtimes at Kaleidoscope are happy, social occasions for children and practitioners. In line with our Nutrition Policy and government guidelines, we encourage healthy eating by providing healthy foods for children. At breakfast time we offer a selection of cereals or toast. Alongside various fruits daily. Allergies are very common, and we must ensure that all needs are met. If a child has a milk allergy or preference, we then substitute this with oat milk or soya milk. Although our aim is for all children to sit alongside peers for meals, we do understand the importance of individual needs and children's choices. Breakfast is offered to all children regardless of if they choose to eat what is provided, the opportunity is inclusive for all children.
We appreciate all feedback to continually improve our practice.
Thank you.

For a very nervous mum and a toddler with sensory issues, the staff at Kaleidoscope Day Nursery at Gildersome have been nothing short of amazing. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds in so many different aspects and always leaves the nursery in the most wonderful mood. Forever thankful for the
staff there and what they do for each child individually.

My daughter started here back in March and wouldn't interact socially with anyone other than close family members. She would hide and cry if anyone spoke to her. On her settling in session she wouldn't even look at staff. Fast forward to now (November) and she's a completely different child. She's chatty,
funny and engages so much more with unfamiliar people. I put this down to the staff in green room and when she moved to red room. They have been truly amazing with her. My oldest daughter has attended this nursery and now attends KOOSH and still loves going like she did when she was little. I always recommend this nursery to anyone in need of childcare. Always go above and beyond for children so thank you so much!
