They're great at keeping me updated during the day and I love the pictures they send so I can see what my daughter has been up to.

My son has been attending now for 7 months. He enjoys his time at nursery and talks about interactive activities staff have provided eg art, food preparation, water play. The staff are very approachable and friendly. They provide daily feedback and always have a good understanding of my son's individual
needs. They have been very accommodating and supportive when he has struggled with changes in his life such as becoming a big brother and toilet training. Myself and my husband feel very involved in decisions that are made regarding our son. Management are very approachable and are quick to respond with thoughtful replies to any queries. The outdoor space is limited but this is to be expected given the location and the children are taken on trips to local parks when the weather is suitable. The Famly app used by the nursery is excellent. We get instant updates and are able to chat to staff when required.

I am absolutely delighted with the care and attention my son receives at this nursery and wouldn't want to send him anywhere else. The learning environment is lovely - warm, welcoming and full of well-planned, engaging experiences that really support children's development.


The staff have such positive

relationships with the children and model language in a really kind, calm and effective way. It's clear they genuinely care about each child as an individual. I really value how well they support children with individual plans and make sure everyone feels included and supported.


They also organise stay and play sessions for parents, which has been a great opportunity to feel involved and see the nursery in action.


The Famly App is extremely useful - I love being able to see photos and updates about my son's day and what he has been learning. It gives real reassurance and helps me feel connected to his nursery life.


I couldn't be happier with Crosshill.

My son has attended Smiley Stars CH for two years now and we couldn't be happier. Our son genuinely loves going every day (to the point I'm mildly offended when he's said no to the offer of a day off with me!).


The staff are all lovely, it's so reassuring as a full time working parent to know that

my child is being cared for by people I like and trust.


Any small issues we have had have been listened to and swiftly resolved.

My son started at this nursery when he was 7 months old and attended till he was 2 years old. During the time he has developed from a baby into an intelligent little boy. My son started at this nursery when he was 11 months old and attended till he was 2years 8months only leaving as we are moving house. During that time he has developed from a baby into an intelligent little boy.


This is largely due to the talented and kind staff which have a genuine care and love

towards the children.


My son always enjoys going to nursery as there are always so many activities which are fun and educational.


It will be so sad for Alex to leave but the memories and love of the staff will stay with him as he continues through life.

Both of my daughters have attended smiley stars nursery in mansewood and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The staff are caring and kind and my children have developed lovely relationships with key members of the team. The management team are helpful and very responsive and have a good understanding
of the complexities of family life. The environment is lovely with outdoor space that has been converted for use in any weather. The team also try to take the children out to local green spaces when they can.
The team have really helped to my eldest daughter adjust to having a younger sibling and have been a great source of stability for our family. They also did a great job preparing my eldest for school and supporting the transition.
Overall, smiley stars is a great nursery and I would highly recommend it.

My daughter attended Smiley Stars for a number of years.
I felt the care there was excellent and in clean environment. The food the children got was a varied menu.
There was a good outside space in the garden outside which was separated into different spaces for the different age groups.

This place has been really great for our son. In very short time staff helped our son to adjust and he was very eager to go to nursery.

My Stepchild attended for around 4 months. Overall, I rate the service as unsatisfactory and I will clearly outline reasons why...
Intercom was forever broken which meant parents and kids could be waiting outside for what seemed like forever until finally gaining access.
Negative atmosphere/vibe apon
entering the nursery as if some of the staff (not all may I add!) did not enjoy being there.
Several incidents which took place which in turn, led me to question her level of care whilst in the nursery itself.
Resources such as aprons were not provided at any time, even though they were clearly on display.
Several items we also provided the nursery subsequently went missing on seperate occasions.
Communication between staff also clearly lacking as conflicting info passed over on several occasions regarding food consumtion etc.
Good points: Nice back garden for kids to play outside and small setting, allowing for regular 1-on-1 learning.

We note this is the 2nd review from the same household. Our intercom system admits one family at a time for safeguarding, this may cause short waits during busy times. The incidents mentioned were shared with the Care Inspectorate, who confirmed there were no concerns. The nature of these incidents was also considered age-appropriate for the child's stage of development. Our experienced team works with care and dedication. Like all of us, staff may occasionally have a day when they're not their usual selves, we continue to support them in upholding high standards of professionalism. Aprons are available during free play, wearing them is always the child's choice. No missing items were reported, but if a bottle was misplaced, we sincerely apologise. We're reviewing food logging to ensure consistency. We value all feedback and remain committed to high-quality, nurturing care.

Overall very dissatisfied with this nursery. Had to make a snap decision to pull my toddler out before end of term due to being very worried about her quality of care at the hands of this nursery. Would strongly advise against enrolling your children here!

Their child attended our Ibrox nursery for around 4 months, during which time they requested to increase attendance-something we feel reflects trust in our care. We took their concerns seriously, carried out a full internal review, also seeking guidance from our Care Inspectorate Officer. We are confident that our team acted with professionalism and compassion throughout, and our practices remain in line with regulatory expectations. At Smiley Stars, we pride ourselves on open communication, experienced staff, and a caring, safe environment for every child. While no setting is perfect for everyone, this review does not reflect the wider feedback we receive from families. To any families feeling concerned, please reach out directly or visit us. Excellent staff. Extremely helpful and brilliant at easing my anxiety when leaving my daughter. The manager is extremely approachable and so helpful with any questions or concerns. Cannot sing praises enough for one of the staff in the baby room. All the staff just go above and beyond.

Our child has been attending Smiley Stars Nursery in Pollokshaws for the past 4 months, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From day one, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in every child's development.


We've seen a noticeable difference in our

little one's learning, confidence, and social skills. The team makes sure to engage each child in meaningful activities and learning experiences tailored to their needs and interests. They regularly share updates, observations, and lovely photos that let us see just how much our child is enjoying and benefiting from their time there.


A big thank you to everyone at Smiley Stars Pollokshaws for creating such a nurturing, fun, and educational environment. Highly recommended to any parent looking for a caring and supportive nursery!
