Overall Experience

We cannot be happier having our son attend Munchkins in Brentwood. He's 3 and I waited specifically to send him as my daughter attends the school where they are based. I'm happy to say it has certainly been worth the wait. The staff are so attentive and engage with him whatever he wants to play - and

he likes to do a lot! My boy runs to the gate excited to go in whenever I take him. Between the forest school fire pit, the variety of toys and set-up areas, the climbing frame, mud kitchens, sand boxes and all the crafting options, he's so spoilt for choice for what he wants to do each day. Communication has been great too, and I've loved seeing pictures of him playing on the app. We genuinely feel we couldn't have picked a better place for him to go ahead of starting school next year.

Overall Experience

My son started at the nursery at the beginning of October after a month of settling in sessions and he's getting on better than I ever imagined! He comes out with the biggest smile everyday and he loves telling me all about what he's been up to. The staff are all so lovely and caring, they've really

taken the time to get to know exactly what my son likes and dislikes, and to make him feel comfortable being away from me. I couldn't ask for any more from a nursery!

Overall Experience

Our daughter joined Munchkins Brentwood in September shortly after they opened, age 11months. She is our rainbow and so I felt lots of anxiety ahead of her starting nursery, but from the very start the entire team have been incredible. Within just a few weeks, my daughter is not longer crying at drop

off and seems extremely happy there. So much so that she doesn't dive into my arms on pick up and is very happy to stay with the lovely staff. The care and attention from the staff is second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely setting. Special mention has to go to Vicky, Anita and Megan who are all clearly passionate about providing the highest level of care. We chose Munchkins for their forest school settings and their strong use of Makaton, and they are very much living up to their standards! Thank you, I can wait to continue to watch my daughter thrive in your care.

I cannot recommend Munchkins at Brightlingsea enough. My daughter comes out happy every day and has grown in so much confidence. She comes out telling us about what she's done during the day and we are amazed at the opportunities she has.

My son is having such a fantastic time in pre school. He is really starting to build friendships with other children and is so enthusiastic to go and play. Overall Experience

My son has been with Munchkins since October 2023. He has been in every room from babies, to toddlers and now pre-school and I have seen the personal growth and confidence in him. The team have always been so lovely to me and can tell that my son has bonded with all the staff there.

The facilities

are fantastic and they go above and beyond to making sure every child's needs are met. In addition to the times he is in nursery, they also put on additional events e.g. photoshoots, farm days, Santa visits etc that you may not get anywhere else.

It will be bittersweet when my son goes to school next year, but know that Munchkins have played a huge part in his development.

Overall Experience

Our son, 2yrs 5mths, Loves going to nursery. It is such a hard decision to make whether to stay at home or go back to work when the time comes and even harder to pick somewhere you trust to take care of your child. Munchkins staff have always made me feel secure in choosing to leave my baby with them.

He has this month moved into the preschool and the level of care and love and education has continued to be outstanding. He settled in quick and has developed such amazing social connections with the other children in his group it's fantastic to see him grow in the setting.

My 1 year old twins have been coming to Munchkins Nursery Brightlingsea since they turned 9 months old. They have been so happy and content here that I have upped their hours. The care has been second to none and they have helped me in supporting their weaning journey which I have found the most difficult.

My daughter attends the toddler room and started in September time. She has settled in amazingly and this is because of the lovely ladies that have put all the time and effort into making her time as fun as possible.
I love how much they are outdoors and trips around the local area are great too.
I

am always getting updates through tapestry which is great to know how she is getting on through the day.
The communication through the app is great too.

My son has been attending the nursery for a year now, and I feel confident leaving him there twice a week. I know he's spending his days enjoying outdoor play, engaging in educational activities, and working on creative projects. I love receiving updates, which give me a glimpse of all the wonderful

things he's been up to.
When my son first joined, it was a difficult time for our family, and a staff members empathy and thoughtful approach made all the difference. From the very beginning, she has been incredibly supportive, keeping me updated on his milestones and any challenges he faced. Her clear communication and genuine care have been truly appreciated.
I'm grateful to the entire team for creating such a nurturing environment where my son can learn, grow, and be happy.

My little girl loves going to nursery, she says good bye to me and walks straight in with one of the ladies. I love seeing how happy she is and her makaton has come along and learnt so much. Overall Experience

My daughter is in her 4th and last year at Munchkins in Brightlingsea. She is so ready for school and that's down to all the support and Ready Steady School programmes they have in place. She started in the baby room and the staff team worked so closely with her, showing patience and kindness everyday.

They built her confidence at nursery and she's now thriving more than ever in their preschool room. We can't thank them enough for the relationships she's built and for all that she has learnt through play.

Overall Experience

My daughter went to munchkins from the age of 1 and half and graduated last year. She loved munchkins and we loved her going there the staff are unbelievable with the children and show so much care and love.
We loved getting updates on what she did during her day. Munchkins lets kids be kids, playing

and doing what they like. Getting messy and learning before they go to school.
I would always recommend munchkins to anyone.

My one and half year old daughter loves going to Munchkins, she has been doing there since she was 10 months old. I love that she gets to explore and play all day. The team is amazing and really care about her wellbeing which means so much to us. They go out of there to make her day the best it possible

Overall Experience

The ladies and their interaction / making every day fun for the children is of a high standard. My daughter is very happy there and has great fun with the staff. The children are very well safeguarded and some of the activities they carry out are teaching the children great life skills.
I have had

a few frustrations with the nursery. The nursery provides jugs of water at meal times and have a water station however, water bottles were not readily available for the children and stayed in their bags throughout the day. Despite repeated requests the water bottle stays out.
Often my child hasn't been dressed in the appropriate layers for the outdoor activities and important information, (for medical reasons) such as toileting cannot be answered at handover despite repeatedly requesting this be uploaded on the app.
However, I am pleased to say that further to this review, sent to the nursery before it is published, I was contacted by the Area Manager who understood, heard me as a mother, and has implemented change.

My daughter has been going to Munchkins Nursery since she was 7 months and is now almost 3. She gets so excited to go in every day to see her friends and play. Almost weekly, she is learning something new, and the staff are so accommodating to my daughter's challenges and growing needs with her age.
