Munchkins Nursery & Pre-School Great Baddow

I would definitely recommend Munchkins GB to other families.

Our daughter started nursery in October 2025. We have really noticed a difference in her confidence, skills and understanding. I genuinely believe this is down to the amazing staff at Munchkins, they are absolutely brilliant! We are so happy we found a nursery that is caring, thoughtful and welcoming. They really teach the children and you can tell they care! Our daughter loves it here and when we pass the nursery on her day off she gets upset she's not going in! It's great to know she loves it so much!

The nursery is incredible at supporting my daughter. Right from when she started all the stuff ensure they have good relationships with the children. This helped my daughter settle into nursery quickly and when she has changed rooms. She has developed so well with their support and I cannot thank them enough.

My daughter started nursery this time last year and has not stopped loving it since she joined. The transition to nursery was great with a focus on settling days and consistency in key workers and handovers. Since then she has moved from the baby room on to tots rooms, which again was handled SO well, settling her in was a priority and she seemed really happy with the move. Munchkins are so great at getting the kiddos outside and into the garden and community even in those more miserable weather months, the kids are wrapped up and still outside in the fresh air, it's wonderful. Also my child is fed SO well and the food selection is enviable. Thank you so much to all the staff at Munchkins. My child is there full time in term time and knowing she is happy and well taken care of is so helpful as a working mum.

My son has been attending munchkins since he was 10months, and loves munchkins. Even asking to go on his days off and the weekend. He moved into the tots room in January and is simply thriving, singing songs and telling me about his day on the walk home. The staff are brilliant, kind and welcoming, my son is incredibly happy and confident going in to nursery. Always fun activities and themed tuff trays, or going on walks outside with nature. My youngest son is already on the list to start later this year.

My little one started nursery in January and was very hesitant at first. With the support and guidance from her room team (especially Becca) she now cannot wait for her nursery day each week! All interactions with the nursery from our initial enquiry to little one now attending is always professional but approachable and I feel they really do care about the children in their setting :)

My son has been at Munchkins Nursery for over 6 months and absolutely loves spending time at nursery. His confidence has grown massively since starting and his language development has improved too. We love the large outdoor space that he can spend time in. All the staff are so welcoming and we can see that they genuinely care for our son and are providing the very best for him. Amazing nursery. My son has really developed since starting in April 2024. Such a friendly, caring atmosphere. My son is always so excited to be dropped off in the morning. The staff are really invested in the children's interests and allow them to find their own individuality and identity.

My son has been at Munchkins Great Baddow since September when he was just over 9 months old. I cannot fault the team there. They made sure he had a seamless transition when starting nursery and being in a new environment. He absolutely loves it at Munchkins and I can tell he adores his key worker Heather who always makes such a fuss of him each morning. He holds his hands out for her, it's lovely to see. But all the staff really are amazing! We get regular updates via the nursery app with his care diary of naps/food but also lovely photos so we can see what he is up to most days, usually banging a pot or singing nursery rhymes. I can tell they really encourage children's creativity and learning, giving them time both indoors and outdoors. They are fed multiple times a day and love the food, all nappies and wipes are included in the costs which is helpful. Great communication with the manager and other staff at pick up and drop off. I know I never have to worry when my son is with Munchkins. Thank you!

We can't praise Munchkins Nursery enough. Since starting in September our son Theo has flourished! The staff are all incredible. They are so kind and caring and always happy to see us in the morning and sad to say goodbye at pick-up. My child loves going to nursery every week and has made such special connections and bonds with peers and staff.

Nursery in general is so expensive, but it feels like Munchkins really go above and beyond to make it worth the money!
