Munchkins Nursery & Pre-School Brentwood

Our son is in the early walkers room at Munchkins and he loves going to nursery each day! He is always happy to see Ellie and Tia at the gate and walks in with a smile. The whole team are really lovely and have a great connection with the children, you get lots of verbal updates and via the app. The team have also been brilliant with meeting my son's additional needs. The facilities at Munckins are unlike any other nursery, I've never seen so much room to play inside and out and my son loves that he can choose where he wants to play, they also set up a variety of different activities each day to engage the children. We couldn't be happier that we found Munckins for our son.

Staff are lovely and caring & it just puts you at ease!

Our son started at the nursery earlier this year, and we couldn't be happier with how well he has settled in. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which has made a real difference in helping him feel comfortable and secure. We love that they get a lot of outdoor play, as well as a language program and forest school activities. We would happily recommend this nursery to friends and family, and we truly appreciate the team for being so lovely, caring, and kind.

I'm really grateful for all the care and effort they put in, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Munchkins to other parents.

We are so happy we chose Brentwood Munchkins Nursery. We moved to the area in December 2025 and were honestly a bit anxious about the move. Our daughter had been at another nursery she really loved, so we weren't sure how she would handle the switch and a new environment.

Thankfully, she settled in within just a few days. She genuinely loves the staff and it is very clear that they take wonderful care of her every single day. They provide a great variety of activities, and we have seen so much progress in her learning and general development since she started. The outside space is amazing and the free-flow between inside and outside is great. We couldn't ask for a better experience for her.

Absolutely amazing experience. My little girl has settled in so well and the staff ate really great at using her signing skills and building confidence away from her immediate family. We cannot be happier having our son attend Munchkins in Brentwood. He's 3 and I waited specifically to send him as my daughter attends the school where they are based. I'm happy to say it has certainly been worth the wait. The staff are so attentive and engage with him whatever he wants to play - and he likes to do a lot! My boy runs to the gate excited to go in whenever I take him. Between the forest school fire pit, the variety of toys and set-up areas, the climbing frame, mud kitchens, sand boxes and all the crafting options, he's so spoilt for choice for what he wants to do each day. Communication has been great too, and I've loved seeing pictures of him playing on the app. We genuinely feel we couldn't have picked a better place for him to go ahead of starting school next year.

My son started at the nursery at the beginning of October after a month of settling in sessions and he's getting on better than I ever imagined! He comes out with the biggest smile everyday and he loves telling me all about what he's been up to. The staff are all so lovely and caring, they've really taken the time to get to know exactly what my son likes and dislikes, and to make him feel comfortable being away from me. I couldn't ask for any more from a nursery!

Our daughter joined Munchkins Brentwood in September shortly after they opened, age 11months. She is our rainbow and so I felt lots of anxiety ahead of her starting nursery, but from the very start the entire team have been incredible. Within just a few weeks, my daughter is not longer crying at drop off and seems extremely happy there. So much so that she doesn't dive into my arms on pick up and is very happy to stay with the lovely staff. The care and attention from the staff is second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely setting. Special mention has to go to Vicky, Anita and Megan who are all clearly passionate about providing the highest level of care. We chose Munchkins for their forest school settings and their strong use of Makaton, and they are very much living up to their standards! Thank you, I can wait to continue to watch my daughter thrive in your care.
