We've had a fantastic experience with the team at Old MacDonald's so far. Our daughter was so well cared for during her time in the baby room. Every member of staff is warm, kind and attentive. We feel so reassured knowing our little girl is in such caring hands. Each day at nursery is well-planned with a variety of activities for the babies, which take place indoors and outdoors. In fact, our daughter is so happy going to nursery that she smiles each morning when we get her out of the car in the car park and she realises where she is! Thank you to the whole team for giving her such an amazing start - lots of firsts (words, steps, etc) - as she continues to grow and learn.

We love the old Mac nursery and wonderful team!! Both of our daughters attend and absolutely love it. Our eldest has been there for four years, and loved every day which is so reassuring to us given how important childcare is (especially in early development years). Each of the staff has been so impressionable and positive role models for our girls over the years. We appreciate how long and hard they work to look after our children day in and day out. Our daughter even pretends to be the nursery teacher at home most evenings with her toys..! Each of the staff have been so amazing in supporting their growth and teaching them new things every day. We're so impressed by how much they learn and bring home. Thanks to you all for doing such a remarkable job each and every day - we cannot thank you enough. It's a special place because the staff make it so! It has such a great reputation amongst the local community :)

Old McDonald's Nursery Chorleywood was the best decision we could have ever made for our son. Cairo joined Old Mac's when he was 10 months old and what an amazing journey he has had to say the least. All of the staff including the management team have been exceptional throughout the years. The girls are so attentive and have worked so hard with developing our child to being the best version of himself. I love how the staff will work with you on whatever steps you're trying to make with your child e.g potty training and dealing with different emotions. The attention to detail in everything they do honestly has blown me away, from Father's Day and Mother's Day gifts to the Pre school graduation. The efforts that are put in daily are on another level. We feel so sad that this era is coming to an end, as our boy has had the best time at Chorleywood. We can't thank you enough for everything you have done, we will miss you all. Cairo will miss his delicious meals from Super Chef Chris.

Although we are so sad to be saying goodbye, we are delighted that our son will be starting in September. Thank you to everyone for the love, care, and support you have shown our family. We could not recommend Old Mac's in Chorleywood more highly.

Our son is just finishing up at pre-school at Old Macdonalds in Bovingdon, and I honestly don't think we could have found a better setting for him. Every step of the way from the baby room to school transitioning the nursery has been wonderful. The staff are all amazing, the children lovely and the outside space is fantastic. I couldn't it recommend it more highly!

We will really miss this nursery when the kids go to the new school, and I am very thankful for making this transition the best it could have been. I completely trust them to look after my babies, and they have given them a happy and positive start to their education.

This nursery is in a league of its own & incomparable to others. They only hire staff who are warm, caring & who love their jobs & the children & are passionate about what they do. They go the extra mile to create activities such as walks & picnics in the woods & hotel grounds, visits from piglets, Buddy the Elf and even from an ice cream van when it was hot. The communication is outstanding. I receive photos most days & a thorough handover - the staff always smiling & genuinely affectionate in their descriptions of what my son has been up to. The management are fantastic in their organisation & communication & equally involved with the children. It is a bright, safe & happy place. They teach manners, independence & the beginnings of reading / writing fantastically. Even though we no longer work nearby & it is a 30 min drive away from us, we still decided to send our 2nd child here, having seen how wonderful it was with our older child. I cannot praise it highly enough.

We would highly recommend this nursery to any family looking for a nurturing, supportive, and stimulating place for their child.

My eldest son started Anouskas in 2021 and stayed through until pre school then my youngest son started September 2025 and I can't rave about the nursery enough, all the staff are SO incredible and the care and support they've shown my children and our family over the years has been unbelievable. They are all an amazing team and even if your child isn't in direct contact with someone, they all individually make the effort to know your child and make you feel as comfortable as possible. The effort and time that is put into the learning, activities and events is outstanding and we are always so blown away by the updates we get. I am always so reassured by the level of care both my boys have always received and can see how every member of the team love their job! Since my eldest has started school, I can see how big affect the work Old Macs did with him has helped him thrive! Thank you endlessly!

Feel they help develop their character and ability to do things.

I went to an arranged parents evening at the nursery yesterday (25th june). It was great to spend time looking at the facilties and speak to the staff. We felt we got a good insight into my son's development and the environment he is in that is helping him develop.

I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing, caring, and stimulating environment for their child.

Our son has been at Old McDonald's for 3 years so far and we absolutely love it! No complaints at all! Our other son has been there a year and also loves it so much. Everyone is so kind and helpful, with lovely facilities. Would and do recommend this nursery to everyone!

Have 2 children at old McDonald over the last 3 years. They absolutely love coming to nursery and the staff are all wonderful and so carrying for the children. We are always up to date on what they have been doing in the day and wouldn't consider any other nursery! Highly recommend. Thank you for all you do for the children.

All the staff are kind caring and diligent. You genuinely feel your child is in the best possible hands. The pre school room is just fabulous and we are proud to be part of the Old Mac's (Leverstock Green) family.
