Overall Experience

As my family were moving we had to say a sad goodbye to this nursery. Although I only did the occasional pickup, I know from how happy my grandson was that this nursery delivers first class care and teaching. I could see on my visits that the staff knew their children well and were very attentive to

their needs. I could also tell from the way my grandson spoke that the activities provided each day were varied and well structured and all set within well resourced facilities. This Nursery is exceptional.

Overall Experience

I'm a sentimental soul but I am absolutely gutted to leave Old Mac's (moving out of area).
Our two children (3.5yrs and 1yr) have truly thrived - anyone who visits will see that it's obviously an exceptional nursery with wonderful resources and surroundings, but for me the most outstanding factor has

been the wonderful team. They are simply angels - wonderful, caring, patient guides who really care about their little charges and their parents. Their dedication and natural rapport is clearly felt not just with my own children but seeing them interact with others too. They quickly became like a little second family to us and we never had a moment of doubt.
Thank you to everyone at Old Macdonald's for all your care and support to us over the years, you have given G and E a wonderful foundation and it has made finding new nurseries very hard - you have set the bar high!
Always fondly in our hearts xxx (G still talks about you all every day!)

Overall Experience

Old Macdonalds Chorleywood is a wonderful nursery. The staff are so kind and caring, taking the time to really get to know the children and going above and beyond to ensure they have the best time during their day. They know how to put both parents and children at ease, offering kind and gentle advice

along the way. The activities are so thought out and offer a great range of development and fun. We love the stay and plays, and open evenings to get to know the new settings. Even the menu has so much thought put into it! Lovely team, great place and most importantly our children love it.

Overall Experience

There are so many positive things to say about this Nursery, it is difficult to only write a small paragraph!
Myself and my partner could not be happier with the care and support both we and our Daughter have received from all the staff at Old McDonald's Chorleywood. From the staff in Lambs room,

to the Management team; everyone has been so incredibly kind, attentive and caring.
We had a little bit of a rocky start with our Daughters settle in sessions, and the staff members were so flexible and quick into action to put together a plan to ensure our little girl was ready and settled for her first day! They are superstars and everything they suggested worked a treat, we now receive videos of our little girl laughing and smiling with all the team whilst there!
Thank you so much for welcoming our Daughter with open arms and the upmost care, we look forward to our families future journey with Old McDonald's Chorleywood!!

Overall Experience

Both my children attended Anouskas at The Grove over the period of 2020 to July 2025 and I can safely say that they have been given a wonderful start to their lives courtesy of the experience and care that they received from The Grove. The staff make the place what it is and throughout their journeys,

they have had unbelievable support from key workers and other staff. The facilities and clean and spacious and the outside space also benefits from its location nestled in the delightful surrounds of The Grove. We were always impressed by the communication and curriculum offered and would recommend to any parent.

Overall Experience

One of the best things about Old Macs are the staff. From cleaning, cooking and admin staff, to those looking after the children, everyone is warm, friendly and very accommodating.
My son has really blossomed at Old Macs, it's wonderful to see the relationships he has built, the confidence he has

gained and the developmental progress he has made.
We love the location of Old Macs, in the country with a wood nearby, children can really get stuck in and explore.

Our daughter started at this nursery in July when she was just 7 months old, and as first-time parents, the whole experience has been far more positive than we could have imagined. Choosing childcare is such a big decision, and from the very beginning we felt reassured that this was the right place

for her.

We first visited the nursery for a tour a month before her start date, and we were immediately struck by how welcoming and friendly the staff were. Every member of the team we met that day took time to say hello, answer our questions, and explain how the nursery operates. The rooms were bright, clean, and filled with a wide variety of toys and activities designed to engage children of different ages and stages. There was a clear sense of structure, but also plenty of opportunity for play and exploration. We left that visit feeling impressed and confident that this would be a nurturing environment for our little girl.

Overall Experience

My son has been attending Old Macdonald Nursery since he was 1 years old and he has had an absolutely amazing experience there.
The staff/carers are all so lovely and caring and he has really created some beautiful bonds with the girls that look after him. They are attentive to him and his emotions

and have helped his development throughout the last 3 years. We have been given regular updates and been kept in the loop of my son's days at nursery, how he has progressed, the friends he has made, what he can improve on/work on and how we can help him at home. There's a nice balance between indoor and outdoor learning too. The nursery hold regular events that parents can attend and feel more involved I.e. parents evening, stay and play sessions etc.
We have thoroughly enjoyed attending these! Couldn't recommend this nursery more! We have had a great experience with them and look to send our second child there too!

Our little girl has a lovely time at Old Macs, the staff are all really lovely, incredibly helpful and accommodating. There are fun activities every day and the meals/snacks are great. They have been really helpful in adapting to schedules and changes as well as keeping us up to date on how she is and

Old Mac at Latimer is exceptional - the care and learning are second to none but there are so many expected extras, external people who come in to do sport, llama visits, caring for guinea pigs, graduation ceremonies, nativities, various stay and plays for family members, themed days etc, - the list

is endless! The staff are exceptional and while there can be changes in some staff members, key staff / management have been consistent for the years we have been there. Our eldest has just left but our youngest is still there and we couldn't be happier.

Overall Experience

My son went to Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Anouska's when he was just 6 months old and they have been incredible for both of us when I was nervous about leaving him so young. He's never once cried being dropped off, he truly loves it there. The team are professional and dedicated to the children's development.

He learnt to crawl, walk, use cutlery, and now talk all under their care and he has blossomed into a very social little boy. They are meticulous in looking after the children's' safety, and when my son had an anaphylactic reaction over Christmas, they handled it so well when he returned to nursery and continue to do so. When I ask him who he played with today, more often than not he mentions one of the team rather than another child. I know he's in safe hands and best of all, he is happy.

My daughter joined the nursery shortly after we moved from France last year, and it really helped her to settle into her new environment. The nursery has done a wonderful job supporting her development - she was learning something new every day and built such a positive experience. The staff have always

been kind, caring, and supportive, and we are truly grateful for all their efforts. I can tell that my daughter was very sad to leave because she missed her friends and all her nursery teachers. A great nursery - highly recommended.

My son has been going to Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Latimer for almost exactly 1 year and the development we have seen in him has been incredible, its clear he has learnt and continues to learn so much there. Everyone who works there is lovely and at the parents evenings and tea parties I have been

to with and without my son everyone is always so friendly and knows my son even though I don't recall meeting them before! Either he is the local celebrity or they are all have incredible memories, or knowing my son, potentially both! We started at 2 days, then up to 3, and going up to 4 from September as a result. We have nurseries closer to our home but as soon as we looked around Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Latimer we knew it was the place for our son and I'm so happy with our choice.

Overall Experience

When the time came to return to work , I knew my little one would be safe in the hands of Old MacDonalds staff Nursery. Having had previous interactions with different settings through my niece and nephew , I already felt part of the Old Macs family. My daughter currently attends at the Chorleywood

setting and has just flourished in the Lambs Baby Room. From the activities they plan, to the close interaction with your child to then communicating with you and sharing their progress I just can't fault the staff. Thank you Old MacDonald's Chorleywood for making me a happy and reassured mummy returning to work.
