Our eldest daughter has been attending Old Mac's Leverstock Green Nursery since Jan 2023, and we've been happy with the care she's received. The staff are warm, friendly, and responsive to feedback. She settled in quickly and has thrived in the engaging environment.


The facilities are good - clean,

secure, and full of opportunities for learning through play. It's been wonderful to see her grow in confidence and come home happy and full of stories each day. She has made a really strong group of friends and will be sad to leave for primary school in September.


We've also enrolled our second daughter, and we feel at ease knowing she'll be in good hands. We would recommend Old Mac's to other families looking for a nurturing, well-run nursery.

Good communication, friendly and caring staff. The most important part and why me and my wife love and trust the nursery so much is how much both our daughters love it there. They are happy going in and coming out and the staff always seem to genuinely care about them, from the management through to
the teams managing them. We have and would continue to recommend this nursery to friends.

Our daughter has been at the setting in Leverstock Green for just over 2 years and has absolutely loved it. The preschool especially has been amazing. Not only do the children have so much fun they also learn so much. The staff member and her team evidently adore the children which enables us as parents
to always feel assured our daughter is happy. From daily updates to special events the team always go above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Old Macdonald's has been so supportive over the entire time my daughter has been there. The facilities are clean yet fun and engaging to the children. The site follows safety measures with only authorised people being able to enter the building. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about each and
every child, and they make wonderful connections helping the children reach their full ability. Daily events are recorded onto the app and drop off and pick up always include a little debrief of the day and how the child is.
The range of activities they do are broad and they always encourage the children to be independent where possible. We couldn't have asked for a better nursery experience.

Absolutely fantastic nursery - could not be happier with the choice we made for our son. From day one, staff have been friendly, reassuring and professional. The communication is excellent - we are always in the loop about what's going on at the nursery. Above all else, we feel like the staff (even
those not in our son's room) know him really well and they care for him so well. They always take the time to talk to us as parents and that is great. Amazing facilities too - the space, activities and learning opportunities are extensive. Our son absolutely loves the nursery!

This nursery is really nice, the staff are lovely. We recently went inside on a parents evening to look around. The facilities look fun for the kids and it seems clean. The nursery also seems secure as you need to go through locked doors that can only be opened by the staff, who will ask you for ID
and a password if they don't know who you are. My son seems really happy going there and with the staff. The app they have is great and they often put up images of my child through the day playing and doing activities.

I visited a number of nurseries in Hemel and Old MacDonald's Leverstock Green was by far the best. The nursery has a modern, clean but homey feel. I fell in love with the decor and of course the soft play section. Additionally it's got a lovely outdoor area with plenty of activities for the kids to
do and the staff do an amazing job keeping it all so tidy and coming up with really creative ways for the kids to learn and play.
The best thing about the nursery is the staff - they are absolutely incredible! I feel so lucky to have had such caring staff looking after my daughter from 11 months to now. She's formed a tight bond with her key worker and it's a testament to the level of care and attention the staff give to the kids. I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of the staff members and the amazing, diverse and healthy foods she makes for the kids.
Overall I'm extremely happy with the nursery and would highly recommend it to any parent.

Absolutely Fantastic Nursery - Couldn't Be Happier!
I was initially very nervous about leaving my children at nursery, but those nerves quickly turned into happiness and relief. The way my children have settled in so quickly is a true testament to how fantastic the staff are. Every member of the team
is enthusiastic, cheerful, and incredibly supportive, giving me complete confidence and peace of mind each day.Having worked in a nursery myself, I can clearly see how nurtured and well-cared-for the children are in this setting. It's evident that the staff genuinely care and go above and beyond to create a warm, safe, and engaging environment. The app is a brilliant feature - I love receiving daily photos and videos of what my children are up to. It makes going back to work so much easier knowing they're happy and well looked after. Overall, I'm genuinely thrilled with everything the nursery provides. My children come home happy and tired, which just shows how much fun they've had

Old McDonald's Day Nursery in Leverstock Green has been such a great place for our son. From day one, we felt really welcomed and reassured that our child was in safe hands.
All the staff are great and friendly, especially a few members of staff; they're absolutely amazing! You can really tell they
love what they do. They're caring, full of energy, and always so patient. Our child has grown in confidence and looks forward to nursery every day, which says it all!
The team keeps us updated and involved, and it's lovely to see how much effort they put into making the days fun and full of learning.
We're so happy we chose Old McDonald's, we would definitely recommend it to other parents.

I couldn't be happier at Old MacDonald's! It's an exceptional place for my son! He has been attending for over a year, and it's incredible to see how much he has blossomed since joining. The staff are warm, caring, and truly invested in each child's growth, which really puts my mind at ease.
One of
the standout features for me is their app, which provides regular updates, photos, and insights into his day. It's such a joy to see snapshots of his activities, from creative arts to outdoor play, and it keeps me connected to his experience even when I'm not there.
My son is thriving here - he's learning new things every day and developing wonderful friendships. His confidence and social skills have grown so much, and I attribute a lot of this to the nurturing environment they provide. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a supportive, enriching, and fun place for him to learn and grow. I highly recommend Old MacDonald's Day Nursery to any parent!

We can not put into words how amazing this nursery is! The staff's professionalism is outstanding! From reassuring nervous parents to great communication. Communication in regards to updates on sickness or your child's well-being is always dealt with with such empathy. The app is filled with amazing
pictures nearly every day but staff still find the time to verbal feedback to you at pick-up. Our daughter runs into the nursery and leaves asking to go back for longer. Her speech has come on leaps and bounds with her report leveling her at greater depth. The learning activities they provide are on another level! The nursery finds all possible ways to involve working parents with stay-and-play dates after 3 pm and late parent evenings that include raffle prizes! I think a nursery speaks volumes when a 2-year-old is able to name all the staff in its facility. It's also nice to see management in rooms too! A huge thank you to Old Mac Leverstock and all the hard work you have put in! We're so happy!

So happy with the care that this nursery and all the staff provide. Leaving your child at nursery I'm sure can be a worrying time for some parents but I never had any concerns. The staff have all been amazing and my daughter, who has been going since she was 3 months old obviously loves the staff and
is so comfortable with them- her face lights up each morning as they come to take her in.
Communication is fantastic. Any queries are responded to quickly and they don't hesitate to call if needed for any reason. Old MacDonald's has become a 2nd family to my daughter. Thank you!

We're coming up to a year of having our little girl at Old MacDonald's and wouldn't send her anywhere else. The staff are all so caring and she loves her nursery days. She has learned so much from being there and been exposed to so many new things that I as a mum would never think to do. I will definitely
be sending her little sister along when she's old enough!

I would like to say that my child has had the best time with you and it's been the best thing for her. She has been so happy with you all and has loved her time with you. The time that she has been with you we have seen her come on and be so much more. It has made her come into her own it's so lovely
and for a working mum knowing your child has the best day is so amazing. The staff or as she says the teachers are just so amazing and lovely thank you.
She will be going to school, and we hope that they can carry on the amazing work that you have done with her.

All has been very informative. The teachers are very good with my son in helping him develop.

We pulled our son out of a different nursery when Old MacDonald's opened and I can tell you this nursery is worlds apart from my son‘s previous setting. The staff are incredibly caring, my son runs into the nursery and runs out with a smile on his face. The children have loads of outside time which
I absolutely love and I can honestly say every member of staff has been wonderful.

My son started here at the age of 13 months in May 2023. Being a first-time mum, I was so stressed about sending him to nursery and went to see so many. The moment we saw Old Macdonald’s in Leverstock Green we fell in love, it is honestly beautiful and we especially loved the garden and soft play. Since
starting nursery my son settled in so well. He is now almost 2 and comes home every day saying he misses nursery. The staff are beyond caring and always a call away. They communicate so well and have stay-and-play sessions to allow us to see firsthand the care that they provide. My son absolutely loves the food, naps well, and has created bonds with all the staff. It’s incredible to see how much he has learned with the various activities that they spend so much thought into organising. He started off in the baby room here and has since blossomed into such a caring, smart and confident boy. If you’re looking for a nursery, don’t hesitate to send your child here. Couldn’t be happier with our choice!
