Communication from the school and nursery staff is superb - they run loads of events for parents, from helping your child to read to Christmas performances.
Overall, we are delighted with the nursery (and school). Our girls are thriving and extremely happy there, and it's all down to the incredible staff and safe, positive learning environment.

They are very supportive of different cultures and beliefs, as vegans I have to say the meal choices are great and they provide an oat milk for her in the morning.
The range of teaching here is admirable, from forest school to dance and the basics of reading and writing the standards are high.
We are so glad we chose this setting for our daughter and look forward to her growing up in this school.

The staff are welcoming and warm and the environment is nurturing and friendly. We think they have the balance just right; an educational environment with a heavy focus on play and fun. We're very impressed with the extracurricular activities on offer, and the fact that our child partakes in swimming, baking and forest school there is fantastic!

Huddersfield Grammar School provides just the right balance of play and focuses on developing key skills to prepare children for the move up to Reception class. It’s a warm, welcoming kindergarten which provides children with so many excellent experiences in and out of the classroom environment. As parents, our voices are heard and we are welcomed into the setting regularly, providing us with ample opportunities to feel part of the Kindergarten community at Huddersfield Grammar School and be fully included in our child’s learning and development. We wouldn’t send our children anywhere else!

The school has a fantastic play area outside and a very bright and colourful classroom filled with lots of work from the children. I do highly recommend the school.

Care and wellbeing are also up there in line with his education. He suffers from eczema, and we cannot fault the care that he has received in dealing with this condition, the staff and school at large have supported us throughout the process of helping him with his eczema.
The teachers in Kindergarten and now Reception are exceptional, he has always been able to bond with them all. They are all very friendly and approachable, to both pupils and parents alike.
We cannot recommend this school enough. Our son is happy, we are happy.
