Outstanding in all areas. I cannot thank the team enough for how they have looked after my little boy. It is difficult as a mother having to leave the most important person to you in someone else's care, especially, when they are so young but with the team at LDA it made everything so much easier. Their
communication is excellent and it leaves us in no doubt that our child is living his best life during the day! He holds his arms out every morning to the member of staff who comes to the door with a big smile on his face. What more can a mother ask for.

Really satisfied with the nursery , the teachers, staff and the learning methods
I am happy with the way the connection with the kids and care about them . I would like to pay more attention at kids drinking more water and encourage them to drink more . Also, can push them on eating the food more ,
either encouraging or offering other alternatives. The menu stand has to be changed accordingly and give the parents the opportunity to know the food option the offer to the kids .

Excellent care. The nursery is more like a little school than a nursery setting (my children have been in a typical chain nursery setting previously) they have both come on tremendously academically which will leave them very well prepared for school.
They also focus on other useful practical life
skills before school starts like zipping up coats, toileting etc.
There is excellent structure, and the teaching methods seem to create good academic outcomes.
This is not an easy going play group type of environment. There is a strong focus on literacy , reading, writing and maths in core school hours (core hours are 9-3). This amount of structure and focus will suit some kids more than others, especially at the little age of 2.
Overall absolutely excellent. I would not send my child anywhere else!
My only worry is once my child came home with a burn and neither my child or the school could explain where it had come from. The school didn't follow up.

We absolutely love Little Downsend Ashtead! From the very beginning, the team has made our family feel so welcome and supported. Our children are genuinely happy every day, coming home smiling and full of stories, and excited to go back the next morning.
The staff are caring, attentive and truly invested
in each child's development. A lot of effort goes into creating a nurturing, stimulating environment, where we feel completely confident our children are well cared for and are encouraged to grow in confidence and curiosity.
We couldn't ask for a better star to their educational journey! Thank you, Little Downsend!

We've been very impressed with the care, education, activities, facilities and resources available at LDA for our child. Communication with staff has always been great and our child really enjoys his time he spends at nursery with his peers and teachers.

We have absolutely loved our nursery experience at Little Downsend. Both of our daughters have spent their pre school years there and we have nothing but positive memories. The level of care and kindness is second to none, and the quality of teaching is fantastic. The staff really get to know each child,
and take the time to work with them individually. It's the best possible environment you could hope for!

We are thrilled with the nursery provision for our 2 year old. She's happy and thriving in a supportive and fun environment. The staff are thoughtful and kind and hugely caring. Our child settled remarkably quickly and loves going to school every day. We would highly recommend Little Downsend Nursery.

Little Downsend Leatherhead provided a truly exceptional transition for our little girl when we decided to switch from a childminder to a more structured nursery setting. We were blown away by the attentiveness and nurturing nature of the teachers, and very quickly our little girl began to flourish
in her new setting. We've now been with the nursery for 1.5 years, and would love nothing more than to stay on for Reception. Sadly it's not financially viable for us, but we feel great knowing we've given her such an excellent intro to what 'big school' will be like. They've really set her up for success, and have gone to great lengths to make learning engaging through clever, intentional play that means she hasn't even cottoned onto the fact that she's learning important stuff. Our funniest and most impressive highlight so far was when our little girl got down from the dinner table and whispered in my ear that 'Wassily Kandinsky is a famous artist' - I'll remember that one for a long time!

LDE is truly a special place. My children moved here from other nurseries and have been happy from day one walking in. They learn so much, including music dance French forest school and also the after school clubs. It's a lovely community of parents and teachers.

Little Downsend Epsom has exceeded our expectations. The support, care and attention that our son receives is of an exceptional standard. There is a real family feel with a focus on the children each reaching their full potential. He runs in happy every morning and even asked us if his teachers could
come to his birthday party. Learning there is fun and inclusive and we were blown away with how much our son has achieved in the relatively short time he has been there.

Little Downsend Ashtead continues to surpass my expectations in many ways. The staff are fantastic and supportive of my son's individual needs. There is genuine interest & flexibility in the level of care and attention provided. It is a lovely environment where my Son has coped with all of the transitions
& milestones well - support has been felt by all the family which continues to remain important as my son progresses through his education. His social skills and rate of development have accelerated as a result of his attendance at Little Downsend & we are grateful for the competence and care from all of the staff. Would highly recommend this nursery over and over again.

Friendly and supportive staff I find the school adaptable to the child's needs. Diverse educational offering with exposure to PE, forest school, languages, mathematics phonics etc from an early age. Very understanding and flexible with extended hours if needed at a fairly short notice. The school itself
presents well with all the children in a comfortable uniform.

Our son started at Little Downsend when he turned 1 and we could not be happier with the care and support he has there. The staff are so attentive and keep us regularly updated and clearly really care about the development of the children that attend. He settled very quickly, and is so happy when he
is dropped off and picked up. We can already see how far he has come and how much he has developed in the short amount of time he has attended. I was worried how he would sleep, would he eat okay, would he be happy not being with mummy and daddy, but safe to say he is thriving and loving it. We've been so impressed and are so pleased we enrolled him!

Outstanding nursery. I genuinely don't think I could find better care for my 2 year old son. The level of thought going into the tasks and activities is inspiring. The care the children receive is excellent, the grounds are lovely and the resources are new and high quality. I'd recommend this nursery

All four of our children have attended Little Downsend Epsom. I highly recommend the school to future parents.
The teachers are incredible and feel like extended family.
They care for the children in a loving way and the education they provide is outstanding.
Our older two have passed 7+ exams
to a high level and we believe this is down to the brilliant start to education that Little Downsend Epsom has provided.
By age 5 my children were able to read and write to a high standard.
The community feel to the school is lovely and many of the parents have also become life long friends.
Children also make really strong friendships which last even when they attend different schools in the future.
The children gain so much confidence and are happy to perform in front of parents for various school productions.
A wonderful school with the most lovely teachers which will provide your child with the very best start to life.

We are thrilled with the level of care our son receives at Little Downsend Epsom. He runs in each morning and is beaming when we collect him. He has great affection for his teachers and has formed some special friendships. His teachers are invested in his well being as well as his education. The fondness
the teachers have for the children is clear to see and it is very reassuring to know that our son is in such caring hands when he is there. We can see positive changes in his behaviour and how much he is advancing. The school is building his confidence, good manners and social skills. His language and concentration have greatly improved too. We feel like he is getting the greatest possible start to his education at Little Downsend.

We are so pleased with the warm welcome, continued support and encouragement given to our 2 year old daughter. She asks every morning if she's going to see her 'friends' and walks into Little Downsend without hesitation. The timetable and activities are incredibly varied, including Dance, French and
Music and the First Steps Team are always on hand with a smile, whether it be for the child or even the parents.
