My twins have been at the nursery just over a year and the staff have all been absolutely fantastic. I'm amazed when I go in for drop off and pick up that all the staff (including those from rooms my children have never been in) know their names and greet them. I love that they are treated as two individuals, their interests and needs are met and supported individually.

Staff are knowledgeable and passionate about their job and management are always helpful and accommodating.

The staff are very friendly. My child always happy to go and learns every time she goes to nursery. She always get to try new flavours that she may not at home through her dinners and lunches. The updates on the the app that staff use is very helpful and allows an insight on how my child is doing.

The director and the team at Kids 1st are absolutely fabulous! My son joined around 6 months ago and all the staff have made the transition from home to nursery so smooth. I can't thank the staff enough for there patience, kind words and keeping me updated about my sons progress. We have noticed how much he has developed since coming to this nursery and I'd highly recommend Kids 1st to any mum and dad out there!

A definite highlight over the years has been the outdoor space and he'd happily tell us about riding the tricycles being the favourite part of his day.

My son has a wonderful time every time he is in Kids 1st Durham, it makes working so much easier knowing he is happy and incredibly well looked after by the fabulous staff and management team. Management are extremely helpful and always attempts to accommodate to any changes in our schedule, and the staff couldn't do enough for my son; they have a genuine connection with him that makes us very happy to know he is getting plenty of love when he is at nursery.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I enjoy seeing his progress each day on the app.

My daughter is thriving and learning so many new skills at Kids 1st Durham, her school readiness is supported daily and she thoroughly enjoys her days at nursery. All the staff caring for her are supportive and informative and have a real passion for what they do.

We couldn't thank Kids 1st enough for putting their heart and soul into the love and care they have given our children and we couldn't recommend more!

Our youngest daughter has just left Kids 1st West Park Darlington. She attended since 2020, and our older daughter attended from 2018. We cannot express enough thanks for how the team have looked after, supported and helped raise our girls. We could not recommend this nursery more, absolutely wonderful staff and a wonderful safe environment. Thank you again.

Fantastic nursery, the staff are amazing, they really care about the children and their wellbeing. All of the staff know each of the children by name even if they don't work in the specific room the child is in. Staff know the children really well and their likes and dislikes. They do fantastic activities with the children and send regular updates throughout the day via the app including what the children have eaten and what they have slept. They also upload pictures of the children throughout the day which always makes me smile to see my baby happy and settled. I was apprehensive about my baby starting nursery but the transition was seamless and my baby settled straight away. I can't speak highly enough of the staff in the baby room who look after my baby. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Staff provide a caring and safe environment for children to learn and grow. Various activities are provided to support all aspects of development. Regular photos and updates are provided verbally and through the app to help you feel at ease and demonstrating the amazing work from staff and the progress your child is making. Staff go above and beyond to offer the best experience for both your child and you and tailor activities around the individual needs of your child.

Everything I could have wanted for my little boy and more. He loves going to nursery and learns so much there. They are always participating in new interesting and exciting activities and they genuinely care about the development of the children. I am so glad we got a place at this nursery he is getting the best start in life.
