My child has been attending butterwick nursery for about 6 months. The staff have always been really attentive towards the child's needs. Staff constantly play and interact with the kids. Staff always keep in touch regarding child welfare. My child has really come out of thier shell since attending and thier speech has increased massively.

I feel very grateful to have a lovely team to care for my daughter.

Butterwick has been amazing with the support with my son and meeting his needs and also support myself and has adapted around him. He has improved so much that we didn't think he would have through the nursery. The team are very welcoming, friendly and understanding.

This nursery is absolutely incredible. My child has additional needs with her mobility and the staff at Butterwick have been outstanding. They have allowed my child to come on leaps and bounds by supporting her other her physio and even offering support where needed with any questions I have. The team feel like a family and they really make the nursery a safe place away from home. My daughter has progressed more than she ever would have without the support of the staff and team at the nursery and me and my husband will forever be grateful for everything they do for her. AMAZING!!

Woodlands is a fantastic nursery. My older son and two nieces attended in the past and all had great experiences. My younger son goes now and absolutely loves it. The staff are so kind, approachable, and genuinely caring with the children. They always create such imaginative, engaging activities and share lovely updates, photos and descriptions throughout the day so you always feel connected. We choose to travel further, even though there are nurseries closer to home, because the wonderful atmosphere and high standard of care at Woodlands are unmatched. Thank you so much to all of the ladies for everything you do.

We receive regular communications from the nursery regarding what they've been up to during their days too which is so great.

If I could give more than 5 stars I could! A fantastic place to send your little one.

We could not be happier with our daughter's experience at The Woodlands. From the moment she started, she has felt safe, secure and genuinely happy there. She absolutely adores the nursery ladies and it is clear how much they care about every child. She has made so many lovely friends and talks about them all the time at home. The range of activities is fantastic, with plenty of variety that supports learning, creativity and confidence while still being lots of fun. Every day feels thoughtfully planned and engaging. Communication with home is excellent and we always feel well informed and reassured about her day, her progress and her wellbeing. It gives us complete peace of mind knowing she is so well looked after in such a warm, nurturing environment. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of The Woodlands and cannot recommend it highly enough.

My daughter has also struggled with her eating since being a year old (now 4) and nothing would help her try new foods, however since being at the woodlands she's tried so many new foods and has started asking for it at home too.

I'm so happy that we found Woodlands, and already want our newborn to attend when the time comes.

Since our son started at The Woodlands Nursery we have seen a massive improvement in all areas of his development. He's welcomed every morning by a lady from from his room, he happily says goodbye and walks in.At home he chats about all of the special ladies and recaps his day. He just beams going and gets excited when we park up for drop off. They provide a wide range of activities to meet the developmental milestones. Also extra days out, trips and special visits from outside companies. We've been beyond happy since he started and we can't wait to see him flourish.

We are so glad we fount woodlands as we was so nervous from our past experience with our child's other nursery I just wish we had sent her there to begin with. It's just nice to know when I'm at work I know my child is safe and fed properly as well as kept warm and dry in the bad weather .

My daughter has been at the Woodlands nursery since April 2025 and we couldn't be happier with the care that they have provided to her.

Specifically, the ladies in the baby room are a huge credit to the team. They are kind, welcoming and caring. They have been attentive to our daughters needs and she absolutely adores them. She asks to see them on the days when she isnt going to nursery.

The ladies keep us updated, providing lovely photographs of her day and giving us a comprehensive debrief of her full day at pick up. We really appreciate the extra time that they put into this.

Their imaginative play ideas keep our daughter interested and give her the opportunity to learn things that she wouldn't at home, while still having loads of fun. She has absolutely flourished since being in the baby room, in confidence and happiness.

My son started the woodlands this month after joining before I return to work after maternity leave. Naturally I was nervous as my son is younger than when my daughter started here but from the moment my son entered the baby room any nerves disappeared straight away. All staff members go above and beyond for us all as a family, the reassurance and support for the transition is absolutely brilliant. Staff are always on happy to give updates and check ins. All members of staff go above and out of their own way to get to know you all. One thing I constantly pride myself on is our decision to use this nursery! Absolutely no concerns whatsoever and would recommend this home from home nursery to anyone. 5 stars always! Thank you again to all staff for the love compassion and care they give to my little humans, every day! Brilliant staff, brilliant nursery!

I am very happy with the services provided by Butterwick nursery. The staff are amazing, kind and caring, they really do care about the children. The nursery provides healthy snacks and various choices for the children throughout the week. There are plenty of activities and themes planned, that offer a fantastic variety for the children. My child loves attending nursery and has made great connections with the staff and other children.

My youngest started attending at just 11 months old and still attends and absolutely lights up when he sees them - they feel like family, and seeing the special bond he's made with them that means the world to me Knowing he is safe, happy, and loved every day is priceless. I would recommend this nursery to anyone x

Butterwick Nursery is an excellent nursery. Everyone no matter which part of the nursery you are in everyone is always welcoming and nothing is any problem. My granddaughter absolutely loves the setting and everyone there.The activities are well thought out for everyone to enjoy. It's an absolute joy to take and fetch my granddaughter plus it's a joy knowing that my granddaughter is well looked after when there. Can't praise this setting enough absolutely outstanding. Thanks to all.

An excellent setting with the most thoughtful bunch of staff. They make the setting so warm and inviting. Each morning our little girl is greeted at the baby room door with open arms, smiles and laughter. All expectations have been met at Butterwick and I am so pleased as a Mummy to know my little girl is having the BEST time! Thank you for ALL of your hard work and dedication to all of the little people in your care, we appreciate you very much! X

My little boy absolutely loves going to butterwick pre school. The staff go out of their way to make sure all children have the best days and experiences. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Having daily updates on collection and the app uploads are amazing to hear and see.
