By day two at Blossoms on the Lane, my son was reaching over to the staff and waving me off. Now he gets excited as soon as we pull up in the car park. He is thriving at Blossoms! Having had a very different experience at another nursery, it brings a joyful tear to my eye when I think of how happy and
settled he is now. Throughout the day I get updates on his food and sleep as well as being sent photos and development updates regularly. His room team always puts on fantastic activities and goes the extra mile for special events. I get a detailed rundown of his day on collection which shows the focused care and attention they give to all of their children. For us, Blossoms is the perfect fit.

My daughter has just started Blossoms on the Lane, the transition into nursery life has been so good, from the settling-in sessions to her first few sessions we have been supported as a whole family, every session she comes out telling us about the friends she's made, it's also lovely she comes home
with some beautiful creations and the use of the app means we get to see what she's been up to as well.

The staff at Blossoms on the Lane are exceptionally warm and welcoming. The nursery has a lovely family feel and I can relax knowing that my little girl is being taken care of. The activities are excellent; my little girl really enjoys her time there and looks forward to going.
The food that is served
is of high quality and home-cooked.
As a family, we are so happy with this nursery, and would highly recommend it.

My daughter has attended Blossoms on the Lane since it opened and I am so pleased I chose this nursery. The girls that work here are lovely, friendly and happy the communication is brilliant. My little one goes with a big smile on her face and leaves the same way. She has learnt so much since she started
and is continuing to develop. Thank you girls for making the choice so easy.

Amazing nursery!
Having not left my 3 year old with anyone other than family before, I was nervous about leaving her in someone else's care but I shouldn't have been worried. My daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery! She is welcomed in a warm and familiar way, she has built a lovely relationship
with friends and the nursery staff and she doesn't want to leave when it comes to home time.
From a parents point of view, the facilities are excellent. The rooms themselves are large and airy, toys and furniture are of a lovely quality and the outside space is large with different areas for different activities (walk in sand pit, den's, activity tables, story nook, trikes and diggers. The resident rabbits are also a firm favourite with the children).
There are plenty of activities on every week from football to dancing with extra enrichment for certain festivals, seasons and celebrations that happen over the year and an onsite kitchen and cook provides fresh home-cooked meals everyday.

My son has only been attending this nursery for a month but I couldn't be happier that we managed to get him a space. He always comes home excited to tell me about all of the amazing learning activities that he has participated in. He has only been attending for a short time but I can already see his
confidence growing and I feel this will only continue to develop as time goes on.
Staff are excellent at keeping parents informed on how their child's day has gone and always deliver a detailed update at home time which is very reassuring.
He always has a healthy cooked meal at nursery and the variety offered means he has been more willing to experiment and try new foods at home also.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the nursery and excited for my son to continue attending.

Beautifully presented brand new nursery and I couldn't be happier with the services we have received so far. We have found the staff to be super attentive, they are easily accessible via the Family app, respond very quickly, and are very caring and welcoming. My son has settled in and is constantly
learning everyday he is there. The food is freshly cooked everyday by the chef and is highly nutritious. Not only is the room extremely spacious, with a cute sleep area with individual beds, there is also a large outside space with toys and rabbits. My main goal of finding the perfect nursery was a feeling of contentment and confidence that my child will be looked after and provided for and I truly believe I have found this place here.

My son joined Blossoms on the Lane Nursery in January. He struggled for the first couple of weeks with me leaving him, however I can't thank the staff enough for really supporting myself and my son through that transition. The updates through the app and time at the end of pick-up to speak to me about
his day were really appreciated. They have rabbits in the garden which my son loves! The nutrition is fantastic too! A special thank you to the ladies for supporting us through this journey and the biggest achievement so far was that my son took the staff's hand this morning and walked himself into the room! This just goes to show how amazing they are and in just 2 weeks made my son feel comfortable enough to do that. If there was just one thing to feedback (which is hard to find as they are so amazing) it would be to have more details on the updates. Thank you Blossom on the Lane!

Lovely setting, my daughter, who is 3, has only just joined and is already thriving. They are amazing, they do so many varied activities with the kids, from bringing in music teachers, artists and story readers. To playing outside and painting.
They also encourage the kids to eat healthy, fresh, balanced
meals. We love it and thoroughly recommend.

I had to, unexpectedly, move my daughter from a nursery with short notice in October. I attended an open day at Blossom on the Lane and instantly got a good feel about the nursery, staff were lovely and was so impressed with the setting of the nursery. My little girl has settled in so quickly and so
well and gets so excited going every day, has never been upset and always tells me nice ladies. She has come on so much, she has always been confident but have noticed a massive change in her. Could not recommend enough.

My daughter's development has come on so well since starting with Blossoms on the Lane, a lot more talking, hand gestures and expressions which is so lovely to see. My daughter absolutely loves taking part in dance and after nursery she comes home and every bit of music she hears she dances to.
My
daughter seems to have a lovely bond with the staff, she is a very cuddly girl & she must feel very comfortable to do that as she doesn't do that with everyone.
we are really happy with Blossoms, staff are amazing and the at home environment is also something which is so lovely, as for the children it can be a long day so the fact they have a home from home to go to as well as a lovely garden to play in makes such a difference.
No doubt all the staff take a part in playing or taking care of my daughter whilst she is at nursery however we would like to thank both the deputy manager and another member of staff, in particular, as my daughter always has a smile or a cuddle for them as well as on the way home, occasionally saying their names.

Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Our son has settled in very well, he has developed lots of new skills and is always happy when I drop him off and singing on his way out. I particularly like the activities they provide for the children, including dance and football.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 52 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.990 for Blossoms on the Lane is calculated as follows: ( (619 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 624 Ratings = 4.99
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Blossoms on the Lane is based on 52 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 85 number of registered child places is 17, which has been reached with 52 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
