Set within the grounds of Upton Heath Primary School, Upton Heath Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality childcare and early-years education for children from newborn to 4 years. With a cosy, brand-new baby room and a bright, spacious preschool room, the setting offers a safe, nurturing space where little ones can play, learn, and grow. Each environment is thoughtfully designed around children’s interests, inspiring creativity, curiosity, and independence through engaging, hands-on experiences.

I have always found great communication from staff especially the manager of the nursery, and always supportive.
Messages being sent via mobile was always answered promptly.
Manager has always been emphatic when my child has been unwell and could not attend the nursery. Manager has consistently
been good with all communications regarding my child. My child has been mostly happy going in to meet their key worker on a daily basis. When I see my child after work, he always speaks positively about his key worker and the nursery, I can tell he is kept happy at his nursery and this makes us extremely happy as well.

We have been very happy with our child's time so far at the pre-school. My child can struggle with the separation when being dropped off but staff are always very warm and friendly, they also reassure us that our child has settled in well after being left.
The setting has a lovely mixture of activities
and toys. There is always a lovely hand over with short info on how our child has been through the day and whether they ate well at lunch time.
More feedback daily on the group activities and topics, personal & social developments and child's favourite activities would give even better connection to home.
We like the outdoor area and equipment the setting has. We would love to hear more of how this is utilised by the children and if group games are taking place.
Our child is very chatty about their day and gives a lot of positive responses to their time spent here

It was easy to book extra hours for when needed.Staff are easy to talk too.Nice little settings. loved going everyday to nursery. Would love have more updates from teachers about the kids on the app.

A great pre-school run by compassionate and caring staff who have got to know our little boy as an individual. The class systems are awful to use, not intuitive at all. The fact that you have to pay to use some functionality of the system is also not right.

I have been really happy with the preschool. My daughter struggles with separation anxiety but the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive to make the transition at the start of the day is as smooth as possible, and by the end of the day she doesn't want to leave. There are fantastic resources to
explore, and my daughter is often chatting away about activities that she has participated in throughout the day. The centre is always clean and it is well set out to support the children in becoming independent. There are a variety of sessions available including breakfast club and after school club - allowing incredible flexibility to 'build' your day in a way that you don't generally get from nursery settings.

Fantastic setting my daughter absolutely loves it here. The staff and manager are so friendly and always go above and beyond what is expected of them. My daughter is always excited to go into 'school' and includes the staff in her list of friends. The staff have been incredibly supportive with regards
to helping toilet train my daughter which is fantastic! Absolutely lovely setting and as parents we are invited in for things such as parents afternoon tea for mother's Day and a play day for fathers day. I wouldn't send my daughter anywhere else.

Absolutely fantastic little nursery, staff are lovely, I'm sure my daughter will miss it there come September, highly recommend this little place, my daughter's speech has come on so much and her learning the alphabet and counting.

My stepson absolutely loves coming here and gets excited when you mention nursery and going to see the girls (staff). They are so accommodating and friendly and he loves them. They are also soo supportive with potty training which is amazing as we are still learning. There is always lots of activities
set up inside and outside. The communication is fab too always have emails about updates and pictures too. Highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Gorgeous Preschool and lovely staff! My son loves it here and they are really flexible with hours to suit different childcare needs.

My child has had a wonderful year at Upton pre school. He has learnt lots of new skills and made lots of new friends. He looks forward to coming in and sometimes doesn't want to leave! The staff are brilliant with communication, they provide updates and pictures and have always helped with any queries
I've had. I know that my child is in a safe and happy environment when I drop him off.

My child didn't have the best time at her nursery , so we took her out of it and joined here . Since being here I couldn't ask for more the staff have been amazing with helping her settle in. She loves going to school now

Clare and the staff are so welcoming and accommodating. They really have the childrens best interests at the heart of all they do. When I leave my child with them, I know she will be cared for like she is their own, and as a working mum, that's incredibly reassuring.

My daughter loves attending this pre school and asks me everyday if she is going. She has SEN needs and the staff are fantastic with her and understanding her needs, nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend this pre school.

My daughter loves going to nursery as the staff are so patient and amazing with her , she's really settling into nursery due to the staff being so good with her couldn't recommend this nursery more. Love getting the updates of my child on the app to and seeing her progression.

The nursey have helped both of my little girls. Couldn't wish for a better setting than this one. Staff are lovely and have time for each and everyone of the children there. They are on key when a child is ill or hurts there selves. Amazing that's all I can say. They really have helped my youngest daughter
have confidence with other people, which I never though would be possible as she is all for me. I can safely say I can drop both girls off and not need to worry about them. Seeing the photos every week on how there week has been is brilliant as you get to see there happy little faces, and it also tells you straight away that we as parents have made the right option to bring them here. Sad that one of my girls will be leaving in July to move to big school but I know that since she has started at nursey they have given her the best time and a great start at education that she needs to go up next year.
Thank you so much for everything you do and it doesn't go unnoticed with me.

I have two children who are very fond of this pre-school. The staff are great with the children and very good at communicating with the parents. They are supportive and interested in what the child likes to do outside of school and provide a comfortable and nurturing environment away from home. The
facilities provided are all new and thought has been given to the design of the pre-school to allow the children to be as independent as possible. There are many activities for them to enjoy and the large amount of outdoor space also makes it a fun environment for the little ones.

My little girl has attended Upton Heath Preschool since September, we are incredibly happy with how she has adjusted. The staff are amazing, nothing too much trouble, we love that she goes in with a smile.
It's not just care but education, which in my opinion is more than you can ask for. Everything
is very child-centred, my little girl is bilingual, and she has received a book in both languages that she speaks which I was very impressed with.
