Fees are all-inclusive of nutritious meals, snacks, formula for infants, nappies, wipes and excursions throughout the year.
We’re open 51 weeks per year, excluding bank holidays and 3 team development days a year. All nurseries will close for one week between Christmas and New Year.

From the initial online registration, the joining process has been smooth. Everything from the fees to the settling-in sessions has been simple, easy to understand and complete. Everyone that works at Kinderzimmer has been welcoming and friendly and we liked the fact that there was a separate role of housekeeper for meals and cleaning. The menus sound delicious. The design, equipment and outdoor space are all excellent. Our little boy seems to enjoy his days in the baby class and we are pleased he settled in well and look forward to the updates we receive through the app.

After looking at many nurseries in the local area we were thrilled to find Kinderzimmer. The design and facilities are outstanding and are beyond comparison to other settings that we had viewed. The settling-in process was seamless, the staff members went over and above during the sessions to make our family feel comfortable and welcomed. Since joining our daughter has thrived, the staff worked with us to ensure her routine was not too disturbed and send us regular updates throughout the day on how she is doing, receiving videos and photos is a highlight of our day. We can see a notable difference in her social skills and the amazing attachments she has formed with the team. Previously she has been a fussy eater, but at nursery she has tried and enjoyed a wide range of foods from a great menu that I would never have thought to cook. There is a lovely outdoor space with a mud kitchen and herb beds, so whilst we are at work we know she is getting outdoors and enjoying the fresh air.

My name is Sophie, and I am the Head of Nursery at our Chelmsford setting.
I have over 15 years of experience working in Early Years, including five years in management. As a parent of two children myself, I truly value being part of each child’s journey at kinderzimmer. It is incredibly rewarding to watch the children grow, develop, and thrive within the nursery.
I am passionate about ensuring that every child and family has access to the very best experiences during their time with us. Whether this is exploring the local area, planting in our garden, or creating special memories with friends and our team, I believe these moments are vital. Providing high-quality care, meaningful experiences for our families, and nurturing a supportive, dedicated team are, in my view, the heart of a successful nursery.
BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies. Worked in Early Years for over 10 years.
