My daughter recently joined Little Lodge and has settled in very quickly thanks to the supportive staff and nurturing environment. She enjoys both the free flow play and specialist activities such as French, ballet and swimming. The communication with parents is excellent, both face-to-face and through the app that the nursery utilises. I've also been impressed with how well the Little Lodge staff and catering team have got to grips with my daughter's complex dietary requirements. It's a big relief to know this is being managed well. We are very happy with our decision to send our daughter to this nursery.
Thank you for your lovely review. I am very pleased you feel your daughter has settled in very well and quickly and you give thanks to the supportive staff and catering team for supporting her and her complex dietary needs. I am also pleased to hear she enjoys all the extra specialist activities and that you are very happy sending your daughter to Little Lodge Nursery.
My son has been attending Little Lodge for a few months now and we are so pleased with how well he has settled in. He loves the food and always tells me he has had a great day. He was invited to join in the Easter egg hunt even though the egg hunt was on a day he didn't attend the nursery, so he wasn’t left out. The staff are lovely and very professional. I love that they have a stay-and-play morning so I can see how my son is getting on. Really happy and glad we moved him to Little Lodge.
Thank you for your lovely review. I am so pleased that your son has settled in well and enjoys his days here at Little Lodge Nursery and he especially loves the food. We are also pleased you moved your son to the nursery and that you are both happy here.
Our son has been at Little Lodge Nursery since he was 2 years old. He is now 3.5 and he absolutely loves going to nursery. As parents, we couldn’t be more impressed with the caring staff, excellent facilities and holistic approach to the early years development of our son. He is gaining so much independence and is very happy with the staff and his nursery friends. He takes part in music lessons, and enjoys a balanced diet (he loves meal times! and frequently visits the outdoor play areas and other parts of the school. The nursery very much feels like part of the whole school community. I highly recommend this nursery.
Thank you for your review of Little Lodge Nursery. I am so pleased to hear that you as parents are impressed with the caring staff, excellent facilities and that he has gained more independence since attending the nursery and that you feel he loves the team, the food and his friends. Thank you for highly recommending this nursery.
As a parent, it's incredibly reassuring to know that my child is receiving a top-notch education and also developing essential life skills. The staff at Little Lodge go above and beyond to create a supportive and inclusive community where every child feels valued and empowered.
If you're seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for your little one Little Lodge is where the journey of lifelong learning begins.
Thank you for your review of our nursery. I am pleased to hear you feel your child is receiving a top-notch education and also developing essential life skills, and this is a nurturing and enriching environment for her.
My son has been at the nursery since we moved to the area last year and I couldn’t be more happy with our decision. He’s now in the preschool room (3-4 year olds). It’s a lovely little nursery - the staff are really caring and supportive, they have a great set of activities for the preschool children using all of the facilities available at the school, including weekly French, PE, woodlands (forest school), ballet, swimming and music lessons. But, it’s not too structured - they also get lots of free-flow playtime. My daughter has recently started in the 2-year-old room and is settling really well with the help of the lovely staff in that room. They do some of the same activities as the older children (e.g. woodlands) alongside free-flow play in the lovely light and airy purpose-built nursery/school grounds. They have use of a large garden with bikes and a smaller outdoor play area. Both children are very happy at this nursery.
Thank you for your review on our nursery. I am pleased to hear you feel the team are really caring and supportive towards your son and daughter and that they both enjoy all the activities we have on offer. It is also lovely to hear they are both very happy here at Little Lodge Nursery.
My daughter has been attending at Little Lodge for 8 months now and has loved going from day one! We were looking for a nursery intergraded with a school for her to continue into and were impressed with the open morning tour led by the children. We feel confident leaving our daughter in this secure setting and like the flexibility of attendance options. The staff have been very inviting, encouraging and informative with every aspect of her development and take great care and attention in their work. I would recommend here for anyone looking for a nursery.
Thank you for taking the time to review Little Lodge Nursery. I am pleased to hear your daughter has loved coming in every day since day 1 and you feel confident in leaving her here with inviting, confident and informative staff. Thank you for recommending our nursery.
This is my first nursery/preschool experience and I’ve been very pleased with it. The staff are kind and professional. My child always comes home happy and I’ve seen a huge jump in their development since attending.

I am a mother of a child in nursery, he has been here since 2. My older children have also been through the nursery. They adore it. Staff are kind, caring and compassionate. Lots of fun learning and special visitors like ducklings! Highly recommend it.
Thank you for your review of Little lodge nursery. I am pleased to hear all of the children adore the nursery and I'm glad to hear he really liked our recent duckling visitors! Thank you for highly recommending the nursery.
Lovely nursery with a lot of great staff that take good care of the kids. It is so nice to spend a 1/2 hour with them in their setting often to see how the kids enjoy their day. Thank you to the team.
Thank you for your lovely review. I am pleased you have enjoyed the stay-and-play opportunities that we offer at Little Lodge Nursery and that our staff team are great and that we take good care of the children.
Both of our children have attended this nursery and our second is going to be leaving to join Reception this year. I have been very happy with the friendliness of the staff over the years and the open communication we can have with them to talk about the children's personal development and also work together to help prepare them for school.
Thank you for your lovely review. I'm so pleased to hear that both of your children have enjoyed their time at Little Lodge Nursery and that you feel the staff are happy, friendly and open to communication with parents. It is also great that both children will be and were ready for school.
Little Lodge has been incredible with our child, from complex allergies, always making him feel included and providing an unbelievable array of foods at snack, lunch and tea time! To the broad and deep variety of learning opportunities. From phonics with qualified teachers to ballet, music, French and PE, all with specialists throughout the school, the quality of learning is second to none.
The safety and welfare of the children is paramount and supporting little people through the ebb and flow of emotion and the complexities of life. As a military family, we have been supported through change and difficulty with a child-centred approach, ever making the choice to send him to Little Lodge the right one.
I would encourage any parent to look around Little Lodge and see the opportunities for their child there, it was the best choice we've ever made.
Thank you so much for your kind words; Little Lodge really is a special place. It is an absolute joy having your child with us; their smile and attitude to learning through play are infectious! We cannot wait to continue to watch him grow and develop as he continues on his journey with us at Yateley Manor School.

Known to the children as Mrs G, Mangalagowri works in our Nest Room, supporting our youngest learners under the age of 2. She has recently finished studying her Level 3 qualification in Childcare. After more than a decade in knowledge processing outsourcing, I discovered my true passion for teaching when I became a mother. For the past ten years, I have specialised in Early Years Education within the IB curriculum, supported by a diploma in Child Psychology and a Master’s in Psychology. Originally from India, I deeply value culture and heritage, which shape my inclusive and holistic approach to nurturing young minds. I am committed to supporting neurodivergent learners, closing growth gaps, and fostering curiosity through play-based methods enriched with music, movement, and storytelling. For me, teaching is more than a profession—it is a purpose and a privilege to help children grow into confident, compassionate learners. Beyond the classroom, good humour, travelling, art, coffee, and good food are my go-to activities over the weekends. I am also an all-time fan of Disney and Marvel movies.

I have experience as a childminder assistant, working alongside my mum.
Through this role, I learned how to support children’s daily routines, encourage play, and nurture their development.
I’m eager to build strong relationships with the children, families, and team, and to contribute to a caring, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

We’re so happy to have her as part of our team.
My name is Tilly, and I have over two years of experience working in childcare across two different settings, supporting children from as young as 6 months old through to 4 years old in the preschool room. I have also worked one-to-one with a child with additional needs for over a year, where I supported their individual development and wellbeing. Alongside my nursery experience, I have also worked as a private nanny, which helped me further develop my understanding of providing personalised care and building strong relationships with children and families. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel confident to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
I have worked with children for the last 10 years in nurseries, crèches and private nannying. What I enjoy most about working with children is seeing the world through their eyes, spending time outside and creating messy play activities.
My hobbies are doing reformer Pilates classes, going for long walks, spending time with my loved ones and making special memories.
Hi, I’m Kelsie, and I absolutely love being part of the children’s learning and growing journey. I’m passionate, caring, bubbly and loving, and I always try to create a happy, safe space where every child feels special. I especially enjoy working with the 3-5 in the preschool room, helping little ones build confidence and get ready for their next big steps. I also adore spending time with our younger children and celebrating all of their milestones. I’ve played netball since I was 11 and used to teach it in primary schools, and I love bringing that same fun, positive energy into nursery every day.
My name is Tracy Young, I have my NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in childcare, and I am paediatric first aid trained.
I have worked in childcare most of my life, with almost 26 years of experience!

At present, I have just started doing some bank work and enjoy the flexibility and that it's closer to home!
Freya completed her Level 3 qualification at college and started working in childcare back in 2014. Since then, she has gained experience with a range of age groups through my work in nurseries as well as my role as a neonatal nursery nurse.
She really enjoy watching the babies grow and develop, and love being part of their journey as they explore and learn about the world around them.
Outside of work, Freya enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on long walks, and having days out together.
I’m Bella, a bank staff member at Little Lodge. My interest in childcare began during my GCSEs, where studying the subject sparked a real passion for supporting children’s early development. Growing up surrounded by younger family members also gave me plenty of hands-on experience and helped me feel confident and comfortable in childcare settings.
I love being part of children’s growth, watching them learn new skills, gain confidence, and reach exciting milestones is incredibly rewarding. Alongside my role at Little Lodge, I’m currently studying Law with Criminology at university. Working with children while completing my degree allows me to balance my academic interests with something I genuinely enjoy.

My name is Julie, and I will be joining the nursery team as a bank staff member. I have worked in the education sector throughout my adult life, supporting the personal, social and academic development of the children in my care across a variety of schools and settings.
During my 20 years at Yateley Manor, I taught Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, and for a time also led a team of colleagues. This experience has given me a strong first-hand understanding of how young children learn and develop best in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
I am delighted to be returning to Yateley Manor as a qualified bank staff member on a flexible basis, and I look forward to working alongside the team to provide the high-quality care and encouragement every child deserves as they begin their learning journey. I am passionate about helping children to grow in confidence, curiosity, independence and consideration for others.
