St Francis Nursery at St Francis College

Our baby loves being dropped off at nursery which makes us happy and confident in her being well cared for. Her stay is made so enjoyable by all the staff but in particular her core carer. She's happy when she comes home and she has developed since being there. Recommend.

Our daughter has been going to St Francis for the past year and we've been really pleased with St Francis. They're very communicative, giving you updates throughout the day, which we've noticed has increased recently which has been a pleasant surprise. We've also noticed a great deal of learnings and new skills our daughter has picked up which has been lovely to see. We have even recommended St Francis to friends and would thoroughly recommend it to any prospective parents.

We are really happy with the care and activities provided by St Francis pre-school. Our daughter transferred there in April from a nursery in London and the improvement in what she is offered on a daily basis is amazing. The staff do brilliant activities with the children each day plus they do P.E and swimming as part of their curriculum. We also pay an additional termly fee to do ballet. The staff are lovely, attentive and caring and we have been really happy with our experience to date.

My child enjoys the activities, and we've noticed that he's becoming more confident and independent since starting at St Francis. The staff are attentive and provide a supportive environment for the children. We're pleased with our choice and would give the school 5 stars.

Since they are attached to the private school, the nursery benefits from their facilities and teachers. The pre-schoolers have weekly swimming, music, forest school and French lessons included in the price. For a small additional fee (about £112/term) they are also able to attend weekly ballet lessons. Even with all these added benefits, we found them to be substantially cheaper than other nurseries in the area. Highly recommend!

I am a mother of two who use this nursery. Our eldest is 3 in December and the youngest 1 in December. They both joined in September. Prior to joining, we were quite nervous as they had never been left with anyone other than family. We are now so glad we found this nursery. They are both thriving and loving it. We get regular updates and gorgeous photos of our children having a lovely time. Since joining our children have both developed at an incredible rate, and they adore the staff there, and the staff are clearly very involved and caring with a passion for what they do.

All children seem to be very well-adjusted, happy and thriving.

Our daughter has really settled into nursery and this is down to the incredible team that looks after her. We are confident heading to work, knowing they attend to her individual needs and she is well cared for. The nursery is great at doing activities with them daily (not so common at other nurseries) and sharing updates about her progress and sending us lots of photos via the app. Sending her here was the best decision we made.

The communication is excellent and we receive daily photos and details of all the varied activities she has been enjoying. A huge bonus for us compared to other nurseries we looked at is the space. The rooms are spacious and the equipment and facilities are amazing. The children have access not only to a large garden area but also the school grounds. This makes nursery days so much more enjoyable for our daughter. Staff are always planning really engaging activities such as cooking, dance lessons, Forest school etc. and we've seen her develop so many new skills and interests as a result.

My son thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery. He is developing new skills and loves the interaction with the other children. From the day he started he has been happy and been himself. I have always felt at peace leaving him in the capable, caring hands of the team, knowing he is enjoying his day whilst I get on with mine. I appreciate the app updates and this is very simple to set up and use. Any message sent is read and responded to in a timely manner.

Our child is also enjoying learning French at nursery.

We highly recommend this nursery. They keep you updated via the app so you’re able to have a full understanding of what your child’s done throughout the day. They upload curriculum information and photos which is great to see and create open communication between the nursery and ourselves about our daughter. The teachers provide updates in the morning for drop off and when picking up, which is a much-appreciated interaction and provides peace of mind, knowing our daughter is in a safe setting and seeing her develop over the last few months has been amazing.

Really pleased with my daughter going to this nursery. They communicate well with us when we collect her and through the portal. The nursery manager and the teachers work so hard and it’s a joy to know when we go to collect her what great relationships she has developed with them in such a short amount of time when she’s telling me she wanted to stay with them at nursery longer. We are glad we made the decision to send her there and cannot praise them enough for everything they are doing to make her experience of nursery so enjoyable.
