Purley Children's Nursery is a leading childcare provider in Purley.

Every day the nursery offers children varied activities that have been designed in line with EYFS principles and are delivered by a fantastic team of experienced staff.

The nursery offers weekly ballet classes for children of all age groups which help to develop and support children's motor skills which are included in your fees. They are also building a relationship with the local care home, Amberley Lodge, so that the children can enjoy monthly visits.

The nursery has a lovely outside space that the children can enjoy on a daily basis, either whizzing around on the play roadway, or creating menus in the mud kitchen.

They have also welcomed a new manager to the team.

This nursery has been a true home away from home for our two children. They supported our eldest from joining at 1 right through to leaving for school as a happy and confident child completely ready to take the next step. We know that the children are safe and loved and having a great time with the
staff. They've encouraged a love of reading and outdoor play, and the focus on teaching the children how to look after themselves and the environment around them has been really impactful.

The new manager at the nursery has made a big difference as there have been a few managers since my children have been at the nursery.
It's a very welcoming environment and my children enjoy going to the nursery as all staff are very lovely and caring.

The nursery is well-managed and the teachers are professionals. They always keep you informed about child's behaviour/development and learning. They so helped us potty train our 2.5-year-old daughter. I am happy with this nursery and would highly recommend to someone who's looking for a place for their

I am very satisfied with the facilities, staff and approach to supporting the development and care of my son. They get the kids outside as much as they can and have created different areas inside to maintain the interest of the kids all day.
The team have put in place additional measures given his
pending autism diagnosis as well as gone the extra mile to provide detailed assessments and coordinate information with his paediatrician. I was also recently widowed, the team has provided excellent support and flexibility for me during this difficult time. I would highly recommend this nursery, they go the extra mile for the children (and their families in my case!)

My little boy joined the nursery just as he turned 1 and has had the most wonderful time there. He settled really well and has bonded beautifully with not just his key worker but other members of staff too. Everyone who works there knows his name - it is such a friendly, family atmosphere and, being
on the smaller size for nurseries in the area, feels very personal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

My child has only been at the nursery a short time but has settled in very quickly and with ease. He loves going there and is always talking about the staff when at home, so it's obvious they have had a positive impact on him whilst being in their care.
I get full updates each day of what he has eaten,
etc, and his progress with the different activities they have been doing with the children.
All the staff, without exception, have been nothing but friendly, professional and helpful at all times.
I have nothing but praise for all the staff at the nursery and wouldn't think twice to recommend the nursery to any other parents looking.

My daughter enjoyed the nursery, staff is very friendly and very helpful. The activities are very fun and educational. Staff is very equipped to know what they are doing. I love the fact there are parent's evenings to update you more about your child's development. The management always has time to
hold a conversation and is willing to help when needed. The atmosphere in the nursery is warm and welcoming.

An excellent nursery with dedicated staff, which has improved massively in the last year. Our daughter always has a great time and her communication and social skills have improved markedly. Staff are friendly and helpful, wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

My daughter Started in May 2023. I have nothing but good things to say about Purley Children’s Nursery.
My daughter has taken some time to settle but the staff are amazing and work with her. I have felt that the atmosphere has been warm and welcoming, not only for my daughter but also for me. They
have kept me updated with everything. I have also noticed my daughter’s speech has greatly improved and she is now wanting to be independent a lot more e.g. wanting to feed herself and walking up the stairs on her own.
As a working mum, it has made a huge difference knowing I can place my daughter in good hands.

I am very happy with my experience with purely children’s nursery. My son absolutely loves going there and has thrived since he has started. He is one years old but his speech and social skills have improved massively.

My name is Lorraine and I would like to take this opportunity to properly introduce myself. I have worked in Early Years since 2010 where I joined a local nursery close to my home. I worked there for 13 years, joining as a nursery assistant. I progressed through different positions such as Nursery Practitioner, Team Leader, Deputy Manager and then Manager where I have done a lot of CPD with extra courses to further my knowledge. I am level 5 qualified and hold extra certificates in advanced safeguarding, health and safety, fire warden, SENDCo. I enjoy sailing, dog walks and a little bit of DIY! I am a friendly character and have an open-door policy to any parents/carers who would like to have a chat.


I have a passion for working with children and take pride in ensuring they have the best start to both education and life.

Sureena Patel

Hi, my name is Sureena and I'm the preschool's room leader/ third in charge. I currently hold a level 3 qualification in child care and have recently just enrolled in doing my level 5 in child care.


I've been working in childcare for about 7 years. Previously I worked in a special needs school which specialised in autism, for about 5 years as a High-level teaching assistant. And the last two years I have been based at one other nursery as a room leader, before joining Purley Children's Nursery earlier this year.


I'm a very family-oriented person so outside of work one of my favourite things is to spend quality time with my family and friends.

Natasha

Natasha Power

Job Title: 1-2's Room Leader Joined: 2023

Natasha joined Purley Children's Nursery at the beginning of 2023.


She is from the Netherlands and came to the UK in 2005.


Natasha qualified as a nurse before moving to the UK.
She started working in Childcare in 2006 and obtained her Level 3 in 2010. She has worked in primary schools as a teaching assistant and specialised in English as an Additional Language. She also has experience as a room leader and Third in charge, as well as managing a breakfast, afterschool and holiday club.


Natasha is currently studying Psychology and Counselling at Roehampton University and is due to complete this in 2026.
Natasha has 4 children of her own and 2 grandchildren.
