From the moment we walked into Puddleducks for our initial look around, we knew we had found the perfect place for our daughter to attend. From their nurturing staff and approach, to the comprehensive levels of communication on a daily and termly basis - with parents meetings, opportunity to visit the setting and play with our child and learning journeys. We could not be more content and happy with the service they provide. We are in no doubt that Puddleducks is giving our daughter the best start to her time in early years with regular reviews, celebrations and targets provided, preparing her for her next steps when she starts school. An absolute asset to our local area!

I couldn’t ask for a better nursery for my preschool-aged child. The everyday learning they do has been a huge part in my boy's development and learning, I am so pleased he’s had the opportunity to go to Puddleducks I count ourselves very lucky. Before Puddleducks my boy did attend another nursery in another area and when we moved here we looked round a lot of nurseries in the area but nothing compared to Puddleducks. Everything they do goes above my expectations including taking them out for Halloween, martial arts classes, visiting care homes, the list goes on. They really do go above and beyond the normal nursery duties. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Firstly I can’t tell you how much my son loved the toddler room and I can’t thank the staff in there enough. I saw him come on leaps and bounds and he was always so happy and excited to go.

Recently he has transitioned into the pre-school room and this transition was made as easy as possible for him and he has now settled in really well. The team always keep reassuring me how he is doing.

We have twins who have been coming to Puddleducks for just under 1 year. They are both very happy there. The staff are always lovely and work hard to keep the parents engaged in the children’s happenings in the day. There seems to be a huge amount of activities on offer too with lots of diversity in what the children get up to. My only consideration would be how many outdoor activities are on offer and how much time the children spend outside. The space for all the children isn’t extensive.

Caring, compassionate and professional and 3 of the words I’d use to describe Puddle Ducks. My daughter absolutely loves going and her life skills are thriving because of the setting the staff provide. She has an incredibly strong bond with her key worker and I am 100% comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. The resources and teaching that are provided are amazing and I can’t recommend them enough.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to Puddleducks and has been attending for over a year now starting in babies where she settled beautifully and transitioned into the toddler room taken in her stride. She has built the most amazing relationship with her workers and is always warmly greeted on a morning. Her development has come on leaps and bounds and she is able to explore, learn and grow. The environment created at Puddleducks is homely and warm and my daughter clearly feels comfortable and safe. She loves telling us about all the different activities she has been doing, which offer variety to spark interest.

We couldn't be happier with Puddleducks, and all the staff who work so hard to make it a wonderful place for your little one.

My little boy has attended Puddleducks since he was 10 months old (he is now 3) and we have had a wonderful, positive & warm experience throughout. I felt so reassured and comfortable about leaving him from the week he joined. The management & girls in the rooms work really hard to ensure a creative, safe and homely feel for each child & get to know them and their families. They are always thinking of new ideas and experiences to enhance the children’s learning and my son’s development has gone from strength to strength since attending. He loves it at nursery and this is down to the whole team. They have certainly set a high standard for when he goes to school and we will be very sad to leave! Thank you Puddleducks.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of Puddleducks as a nursery for our little boy when I returned to work after maternity leave. The whole Puddleducks team are fabulous, they are so engaging with the children and the care is first class, the team make the environment such a lovely one for the children. The team work tirelessly to ensure there are different activities and learning themes each week. The rooms are all beautiful and very well looked after. It’s been a pleasure to see our little boy grow and progress from the baby room when he began and now in the toddler room. The food is a lovely varied menu and our little boy eats a delicious varied diet whilst at nursery which is so reassuring and important. Thank you Puddleducks and well done!

We feel very lucky that our son gets to attend Puddleducks in Malton as the whole team are so passionate about what they do. From the warm greeting you get when you first arrive to the emotional support you get when you leave your child, I couldn't imagine getting through this experience without them as they fill me with confidence that my son is in good hands. The food they provide is nutritious and tasty as my son always has second or third portions and they even leave little buns for the parents for breakfast! They provide such a warm, caring learning environment for the kids and I love hearing about the activities they've divulged in throughout the day. My son comes home so happy and I couldn't imagine him going to any other nursery!

We absolutely love Puddleducks, the nursery just has the best feel, the staff are all fantastic, so welcoming and supportive to both the children and families. My little girl is always excited to go on a morning and since starting at the nursery her confidence has grown massively, the learning opportunities are just fantastic and the staff are so dedicated, they have helped transform my shy girl into being very sociable and confident in her abilities. I love watching my daughter flourish in their care and look forward to introducing her sister to the nursery later this year.

I had to go back to work quite early after having my little boy and sending him to a nursery terrified me! From day one, Puddleducks have been absolutely amazing with me, and my son. Although he can't tell me yet, I know he loves his nursery days and staff from the big smiles when he sees them. I love how even though he is really little they find a way to get him involved with the older babies and have arranged some sensory activities just for him! The baby room is fantastic, well equipped, well staffed and is a lovely calming environment.
My little boy has just started weaning and nursery are supporting this too offering him some lovely purees just for him at lunchtime. The weekly menus are lovely and varied too, I'm excited for my son to try all the yummy home-cooked food on offer.
I trust everyone at Puddleducks completely in caring for my boy. They genuinely have the children's safety, happiness, and development at the heart of everything they do.

Thank you Puddleducks!

I am so happy with the nursery. I have two daughters there (different ages) and their main caregivers (they are in different rooms) treat them like they are their own, and like we do, with lots of patience and care and gives them confidence. They are always happy being dropped off and have big smiles when I pick them up.
My older daughter is always telling me about her day (the younger one can’t talk yet) and what she has eaten (the menu is always tasty and varied).
She has learnt a lot in terms of playing with others, to share and take turns and be gentle with younger ones which has helped a lot with when she plays with her little sister.
They both really enjoy the activities which are always changing which keeps them really engaged. They love the events such as the nursery graduation and the king's coronation celebrations!

I will be extremely sad when the girls go to school, the nursery very much feels like part of our family.

We were delighted when we found out Puddleducks was opening in Malton. Our child joined the baby room and is currently in the toddler room. The staff have been wonderful. They really care about each child. The rooms within the nursery are beautiful and the children always happy. They have a great array of food for them to eat which is great for developing taste buds. The staff in the office are brilliant at communication and always keep us informed. Thank you Puddleducks! We couldn’t fault you.

We feel privileged that our daughter attends Puddleducks Nursery. All of the staff, from management to the amazing ladies who work in each room, always go above and beyond. Our little girl is so incredibly happy at nursery and has come on leaps and bounds. She always gets to take part in a range of fun and engaging activities. There is a fantastic menu and a great variety of food provided and our daughter loves it so much that she always has two helpings. We are always well informed about everything and the curriculum evening was a fabulous opportunity to explore the learning space and ask questions. The staff always dedicate time at the end of the day and we have parent video meeting three times a year, where staff share the progress that they have made and where they would like to take their learning next. We love the way that they have a rotation of focus children and send our daughter's folder home to see what she’s been doing. We honestly wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else.

We absolutely love Puddleducks Nursery. Even though my child only goes one day a week, it still feels like a home away from home for them. All of the staff go above and beyond to make the children and their families feel welcome. And the morning tea/coffee/flapjack for busy commuting parents is the best!

My son has been coming to Puddleducks since it opened. He had previously been at another nursery which he hadn’t really settled at so we moved him to Puddleducks.
He has taken a little while to settle but the staff have always ensured that he gets the care he needs to settle him and reassure him. He now thoroughly enjoys coming to Puddleducks, they do a wide range of activities and he is learning so much.

Thank you Puddleducks for making a worried mummy feel at ease!

I recommend Puddleducks Nursery Malton to everyone! The care and attention they have given to our children has been exceptional and we can not fault them! Always warm and welcoming on arrival and very informative at pick-up.
Our children absolutely love going, they insist on carrying their backpacks to the car and opening the doors to their rooms where they run to their key workers for a hug!

We had used a couple of nurseries prior to both our children moving 12 months ago to Puddleducks Nursery Malton. Absolutely thrilled with them and amazed at how well they utilise their space. They’ve been a fantastic support to both of our children, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. They are an incredibly hard-working team of passionate, enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff. Absolutely knocked the socks off the other nurseries we had used; I can’t recommend them highly enough.
