Buttercup Corner Day Nursery

My daughter has been at the nursery since January 2022 and she is so happy to go everyday. She is provided with a variety of opportunities - Spanish class, yoga, gym, trips out to the park or supermarket etc and most recently, a trip to the pantomime, all at no extra cost. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They helped put me at ease from the very first day, and still do. Even though I have two other children, I still ask their advice on things and they're always happy to help. I would highly recommend Buttercup Corner to anybody looking for a safe, happy, caring environment for their child to grow in.

Buttercup Corner has been amazing with our son. He initially started with 2 half days a week and is now full-time in the term time room. Communication between the nursery and ourselves has been amazing and we love hearing what they have been up to. All the staff have a true passion for their job and make sure that the children in their care have the best experience possible. The nursery have been a fantastic help to both me and my husband in navigating the EHCP process, and I can't thank them enough. Our son loves going to nursery and we will all miss bringing him when he starts school next year.

Three of my grandchildren have attended Buttercup Corner Day Nursery from early infancy up to school attendance age. It has been a very positive experience for each child and they have benefited greatly from attending. They were encouraged to express themselves in every respect and have blossomed both educationally and emotionally and gained confidence in many varied aspects of life and learning. The love caregiving and respect given to each child in their care is exceptional and has prepared them well for their continuing education. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has now been at Buttercup for 8 months and after being at 2 previous nurseries that we really weren’t happy with and neither was our little one. We were told about Buttercup by quite a few people and after being on the waiting list we finally got offered a place and we really couldn’t be happier, our son loves going, the room is very equipped with a large variety of toys and activities. He loves going on the trips to the park, activity days and the parent-child play days are amazing. The nursery has such a nice warm friendly environment the staff are great with the rooms always being well-staffed. I personally love the daily reviews and if there’s an accident the phone calls and forms you receive, communication is outstanding. Also, the security doors and not being able to enter the nursery make it safe for my son. Well done Buttercup!

The best nursery around, no question about it! My oldest son attended Buttercup Corner from the age of 2 until he went to school (now attends holiday club). He has Downs Syndrome along with other additional needs and he absolutely thrived beyond my wildest expectations whilst under the care of the manager and her amazing team. Whilst at nursery, he learned to crawl, stand, sign, talk and feed himself. The staff poured everything they had into him and his success and he definitely reaps the benefits now he’s at school. The nursery is beautifully set out with each room and outdoor space tailored to the age group it holds. The catering staff provide nutritious meals and snacks and healthy eating is heavily encouraged. The senior management team is one of the strongest I’ve seen! My baby has just started and the positive impact they’ve already had on him is amazing. If I could bottle up the love that this nursery gives every child and carry it with me, I absolutely would!

Buttercup Corner is a wonderful place and I feel lucky that my child has access to such a wonderful environment.

My granddaughter is now 9 and has been at Buttercup Nursery since she was a year old. Buttercup has been the most reliable, dependable and trustworthy nursery. You cannot pay for peace of mind, but this is what we have when my granddaughter is left in the morning for breakfast club and when she is collected from school for the after-school club. We have seen Buttercup grow and develop over the years, and they really do deserve their recent Outstanding Ofsted rating. The staff work hard and go above and beyond. We are lucky to have such a lovely nursery on our doorstep!

We are so grateful to have a place for our daughter at this nursery and would recommend to anyone.

My daughter has been registered with Buttercup Corner Day Nursery since January 2023 attending the before and after school club. The environment is outstanding and aesthetically pleasing with ever-changing themes in line with seasonal occasions and diverse celebrations. The staff are consistently professional and approachable and are happy to accommodate any wishes I have the best they can. My child has only spoken positively of the time spent and is always showcasing her work and activities completed. As a lone parent who is full-time working it is a relief knowing my child is comfortable and content with the staff and the care provided.

My son has been coming to Buttercup Corner since September 2022 and he has loved every minute of it. There is so much for the children to play with and learn from. I do not have to worry when I go to work because I know that he is in safe hands. Every member of staff is attentive and caring towards every child. The communication between the nursery and parents is faultless. I would highly recommend Buttercup Corner.

We couldn't have asked for more from Buttercup Corner. Our son is so excited to go every morning, and is learning so much from the helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We cannot thank them enough.

All 3 of my children attended this nursery and now the holiday club. The development of the children is exceptional, they really do put the children's needs first. The activities keep them entertained all day and they really enjoy going each day to the club. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son left nursery in September to go to school however still attends the before and after school care. My son loves this nursery, from being 9 months old to now 5 he's been with Buttercup Corner and I would recommend to anyone. They are a fantastic nursery and have such a friendly and caring team of staff there who develop the children in all areas preparing them for school. 100% recommend this nursery.

Buttercup Corner is an excellent nursery, my child started as a 9-month-old baby and I was instantly made to feel at ease with a look around the nursery and meeting staff. My child had a transition/settling-in period which allowed him time to adjust before I returned to work. The nursery is a lovely environment and very appealing to children. The staff are so friendly and caring they go above and beyond. The progress my little one has made in the past 12 months is phenomenal and this is mainly down to his time at nursery. The communication with staff and parents is fantastic, daily report cards emailed, telephone conversations, parents evening and the use of the online learning portal allow me to see what he is up to in nursery on a daily basis. I feel completely at ease leaving my little one in such a caring and nurturing environment, where staff care as much about my little one as I do. I could not ask for a better nursery or start to his educational journey than Buttercup Corner.

Absolutely amazing nursery! Never had an issue and my little girl loves being there. All the girls are super welcoming and go above and beyond with their care. They genuinely care for every child and it shows.

My daughter attended this nursery and is now there for the morning and after-school care. She adores coming here, the staff are amazing, really attentive and always engaging with crafts and role play, there's so much for the children to do, I wouldn't send her anywhere else. The outstanding Ofsted rating is exactly what this nursery is!

The nursery is very well managed and there is always someone at hand to help with any questions or queries.

The staff are always helpful, going that extra mile to help my child feel happy at nursery. I would highly recommend this nursery to all the parents I know.
